Would be great if there will be some buy-in tournaments. Maybe like 4 or 6 a day (not too many cuz then people won't signup I think.) Something like s300 buy-in.

where are my beloved  hourly frerolls?

it seems they have disappeared

my guess is that they are readjusting them because people have been abusing them

really sucks, i love them

Im seeing the hourly freerolls still.  It was just changed so you cant preregister more than 30 minute prior to the tourney start time.

Edit: hmm maybe Im wrong.  Im not seeing the next hour opening up.  But I see the current and last tourney.

Its working.

If you register for a real money tournament and then unregister before the tournament ever starts, shouldnt you be refunded the 20 chip 'fee'

Currently the 20 chip fee is not returned.  I miss my chips.  EDIT 2 I think I just closed the tournament window and didn't actually 'unregister' from the tournament.  Should closing the window automatically unregister you?
Edit by they way someone come play me heads up.

I'd love to play SP but won't even bother with it until there is a Linux client available. And no, I'm not interested in virtual machines or wine.

We were working on the backend of the client to prepare for the html5 client, so sometimes it might take a few moments for new freeroll tournaments to show up. We apologize Wink

We will start adding some regular tournaments tomorrow as the backend changes are as good as done.

Closing a tournament window wont unregister you for a tournament; you really have to click on the unregister button.

Players with linux based system can play as soon as the html5 client is live.

Awesome! So, just to make sure I have this correct, if I'm playing on the html5 client, will it be synced with the people playing on the desktop client?

In one of the cases I listed above I was blocked out of the tourney for its entirety.  I would continuously get the server cannot be determined error.

It seems that closing and reopening the tournament window may have helped me get out of the error condition.

Hourly free rolls seem to be limit holdem now... no notice of this change anywhere that I can see.  Game type still says 'Hold'em' same as it did yesterday...

Not cool.

Its worrisome that a different game type can be run even though the game type column on the main lobby hasnt changed.

Should I not play real money s&g for fear of different game types?

I dont see the'fixed limit' distinction anywhere.  I may be just missing it.

Im only upset by the potential mislabeling issue.  If it is clearly labeled I have 0 problem.

EDIT Im just blind.  This hourly tourney says Hold'em F... next hour's says Hold'em NL.

May I suggest making the Game Type column in the main lobby also show this distinction to avoid confusion from other blind users like me.

What operating system are you running on?

Please try running the install.exe as a system administrator and try running again.

Ladies and Gentleman,

Freerolls
We have changed the structure of our freerolls. Instead of hourly, we will run the freerolls every 4 hours. The prizepool of the tournaments will be 4000 chips (0.4 bitcoin) instead of 1000 chips. We hope that the bigger prize pool will attract more players to the site and get more action at the cash tables around the time of the freerolls.

Guaranteed tournaments
As we have a lot of people requesting for guaranteed tournaments, every 4 hours we will be hosting a 5000 chips (0.5 bitcoin) guaranteed tournament with a buyin of s500+s50. We will be adding more soon!

Satoshi Bad Beat Jackpot
We have added Satoshi Bad Beat Jackpot tables and have filled the jackpot with s100,000 (10 bitcoins).
Once a hand of four of a kind Jacks or higher loses on the showdown, the jackpot will be paid to:
- Loser of the hand (80% of the jackpot)
- Winner of the hand (10% of the jackpot)
- Players at the table (1.25% of the jackpot)
For the jackpot to be released, both winning and losing players need to use both hole cards to make their hand. Once a qualifying hand has been played, the hand will be reviewed manually to ensure there is no cheating involved. Once the review is done, all players get the prize credited to their account.
The badbeat jackpot will grow with 10% of the rake paid on the jackpot tables. Of course the bad beat jackpot is only paid out on the jackpot cash game tables.

HTML5 client
We have installed the HTML5 client but still have to work out a few bugs before we can deliver this to the public. We estimate the on-site play to be ready somewhere next week.

Good luck at the tables!
