Good for you mate, using gambling as a stress relievers and not a source of income, many gambling addicts always look different as they think that in gambling they can easily gain good money if its their lucky day, not realizing that they already engaged too much and already loses a lot, better  to

The idea of setting aside certain amount for gambling is what I always do. For me it is to make sure that I have different money to be use in gambling and other important things. I also do this so the money I put to gambling will not exceed to my budget. If I lose it all then I will stop, but as much as possible I do not want that to happen.

But what I like in your post is the idea of exit plan you mentioned particularly the profit. It is much more effective I guess. I will try that sometimes. Just making sure I follow what I have set maybe it can help me control my emotions because even though I set some amount I still can’t help myself become sad when those amount are all gone.

Most of the chances are here in gambling for losing the money, then on the spot of betting, patience and boundaries control us. But if we do it on the spot, it mean we do it and save ourself from big lose and also addiction. But only few gamblers do it and majority are just think about it and nothing.
