To me both forex and crypto currency trading are almost the same because it is both the fources of demand and supply that determines the movement of the market. And at the same time you need to have a good knowledge of both technical and fundamental analysis to be successful in trading both crypto currency and forex trading.
Yes. Both require good knowledge and experience but I personally feel that crypto has an edge over forex trading.
Crypto investors are far more in number than that of forex. Besides more people are becoming rich with crypto trading over last few years than with forex trading.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

With forex you have few benefits
  • Cashed out: When you trade in exchanges, for most of them getting in is easy, but getting out is the difficult part. You have to get verification done etc. But,
if you have been cashing out frequently, then you don't run the frustration of cashing out all at once
  • Realized profit: I have often heard and said that you haven't had any profit until it is realized (cashed out). Cryptocurrency market is a b*tch. One day you are trading in the biggest exchange on planet, and the next day it's shutdown. So, this benefit applies as long as you transfer the profit to your bank a/c
  • Avoid market falls: if the entire crypto market is facing downfall, you can cash out and wait till the downfall has stopped to buy more coins in dips even with the same amount[\li]
But there are some drawbacks as well
  • Taxes: You may have to pay tax when you realize profit. But, I am not sure if you can adjust losses against other incomes[\li]
    • ForEx charges: if your primary currency is not USD (or the one that exchange allows for trading) then you may have to bear forex charges[\li]

The thing about crypto exchanges is that it is new market so there is no established exchanges and very few have any kind of authorized certifications or other forms of security of your funds.
When you cash out from crypto to fiat currency you also have to pay taxes but only when you cash out more than you actually poured in (it may differ depending on country).

I believe with crypto you can make bigger profits over time because this market and technology is still at its infancy.

Hi,

What is your opinion about forex trading vs crypto currency trading?
Which one is better? More profitable ?

Also, there are some bots like GunBot or C.A.T which automate whole trading, but is there any bots for forex?
Is crypto currency and forex trading strategy and method the same?

Both Trading Are Profitable but  crypto currency and forex trading strategy & method are not same. have a lot of difference between those trading. besides forex trading is very risky, very hard to understand and most of the forex traders are lost their money in forex trading. crypto currency trading is also risky but if you have some proper knowledge then you could be able to make profit from  crypto currency trading. so for my opinion,  i would like to choice  crypto currency trading...

I agree with you when you say that it is far riskier doing forex trading than crypto trading. Holding in cyrpto is very safe. In forex, if you do not set a cut loss before entering into a transaction, you might just find out after you eat your burger that all your money is lost. Leverage makes the small movements in forex so huge in terms of actual investment.

In crypto trading, one can easily manipulate market and make some money because the market is so young and made up of so many noons and few pros.

In forex, manipulation is very hard and almost every regular trader is smart enough.

I agree. By cashing out and paying taxes you are indeed cutting out a piece of your profit. And I do agree that crypto exchanges are at early stage. Hence, I spread my holdings across multiple exchanges. I learned it the hard way from MtGox Smiley

Crypto trading is better forex is just like gambling they claim to be regulated and all other real verification but the same is for gambling with forex you need lot of experience and there is no guarantee you will make money, i know few strategies from bitcoin theif it worked sometimes and sometimes it didn't work with crypto trading if you are holding a solid coin with good development you will surely make profit with forex that is never the case it is gambling with stocks.

I do not know much about forex, but it being a much bigger market makes it much less predictable in my opinion. With altcoins you can get info from forums, twitters, and all and there are much less people playing with it. Should be more predictable.

I don't have any experience in forex trading but my friend have and he said that crypto currency trading is way more better than forex. He lost a lot of money in forex trading and he said he will never come back again. I don't know the full story but maybe he really had a bad experience in forex. But for me it really depends to the person to where he/she is comfortable.

I prefer crypto currency trading, forex is just meh, the market not that interesting. in crypto world, you could just become rich within a night if you pick the right altcoins to trade. in forex world, you'll fight for rather low amount profit, my time will worth more in cryptocurrency trading than forex, so I better spend my time there. but, for people who just want to stick to ordinary thing, forex is the right choice as for now.

Forex trading is way more popular than BTC trading, so yes there are bots and a lot of software to do it. The most popular is metatrader, and you can even use demo accounts and start trading for free to see if you can handle things. Crypto trading is incredibly popular nowadays, and a lot of fiat traders and now migrating to crypto, or start using both.

As for which is better or more profitable, I think it depends on your style of trading. Crypto markets are way more volatile, so your margins can of course be bigger, but you can also lose a lot more. If you have a lot of power, you can probably also do better in trying to manipulate the market (at least in some "weaker" altcoins).

If you like to bet risk for huge amount of profit, go for Forex. Broker help you with upgrade system called leverage, you can move high current of money with a little penny. But remember, leverage cause a huge destruction too. Since you do not own the money itself, when it touched lowest pos, its done. No hope is left.

About Cryptocurrencies trends, they are same in characteristic as fiat. More buy, increase price. Many Sell, lowering price. Your decision is depent on calculation that we used for forex trading.

The only difference is in the transaction system
Forex transaction start with open and ending with Close. You never own the money, you just get profit or deficit.
In crypto trading, you will make a decision for exchanging between coins to another coins/fiat based on exchange rate. You grab the coins in your own pocket. When its price touch the bottom of the chart, you still have that coins in your hands, and wait untill the price rising again. More safyy

Of course for a people that involves in crypto, they will say the crypto trading is the best since they don't know what forex is. We must not compare this two things since they have different nature of volatility and fluctuation.

Forex mostly holds involves fiat currencies which is way really different in terms of the fluctuations of cryptos. Both have different strategies to win mostly on trades.

Absolutely agreed, comparison is just a waste. Both are similarly important and useful in their respective fields. Both are nearly similar yet different. Both are currency related but their volatility is kind of different. Crypto is more volatile than normal fiat.
