I thought I had a lot of artbyte on there. I can't even see it listed for withdrawal now? do they just vanish after a time?
I never thought they just got zapped away totally?

Perhaps they do. Best to move all delists out quickly

Any suggestion how to save qora coins from poloniex  Huh

--------------------

I did a quick search, didn't see any other exchange that trades QORA. You probably need to just dump them now on Poloniex before the delisting. Sorry about that. There is a QORA wallet you could move them to, not sure what you will do with them after that though. I will keep searching.

Cryptocurrency exchange Poloniex has announced it is delisting a record of 17 altcoins by May 2nd. The decision came in the form of a tweet yesterday, in which the exchange listed assets including Boolberry and Voxels are among the losers together with CureCoin. The altcoins to be delisted are the following:

BBR, BITS, C2, CURE, HZ, IOC, MYR, NOBL, NSR, QBK, QORA, QTL, RBY, SDC, UNITY, VOX, XMG.

I own curecoins, so I could tell the price decreased by 50% in 1 day.

Do you own some of the delisted coins?

I think they shouldn't have planned to delist CURE as it is a coin dedicated for a good cause of finding cure to diseases by folding protein. Very similarto folding coin. And the rest of the list is alright other than finding QORA in the list. Perhaps we should tweet back to polo and let the know what the community feels.

UPDATE. QORA's website (http://qora.tech/) shows an exchange called https://www.ccedk.com that lists QORA in their portfolio, but I didn't see where or how they exchange them.

Bytecoin can be mined on CPU fairly effectively. Mine some, catch a pump, its not too bad.

Fortunately I don't have all those coins. I stll prefer dogecoin and eth because the price is stable and listed in many or almost all exchangers.

The same happened with other coins in the previous round of delistings. All of a sudden they started pumping after months of stable prices and development and 3 days later "bye bye you are getting delisted".

yep. fibercoin was one of those. it reached something like 900 btc volume a few days before delisting and didn't even have a blockchain that worked properly. they're pretty shameless.

The announcement made by Poloniex really made a huge impact on the price for most of them. BitStar ,SuperNet(Unity), ShadowCash which had a decent amount of trading volume is seriously dying and getting dumped. I believe that this is somehow the community fault because everyone prefer using Poloniex and there is no balance between exchanges which makes announcements like these screw things up.

It's crazy how much this announcement dropped the price of a bunch of coins.  Hopefully stuff like this doesn't continue to happen.

It would be great two have two or even three other exhanges with asimilar interface and crucially similar liquidity to Polo. There just isn't really much competition on those fronts.

This is why we need a 100% decentralized exchange

I lost 8 BTC due to this. In 1 day. Is there something I can do about it? There preceded a huge pump and then everything crashed.

Not too happy with them lately, especially with their inability to pay WA State a licensing fee.  It's not like they're going broke.

At least it shows they're curating good coins.  I saw most of those coins were bad at the beginning, but enjoyed riding them and
copied them to Bittrex.  Curecoin is a good coin and has a great team.
