According to the La Liga President Barca unable to maintain previous contract, if Messi agreed to stay then his wage to cut more than 50%. Thus, Barcelona need to discover out a way. Cristiano Ronaldo left, Ramos as well and should Messi follow then that will be the end. Without Messi there will be nothing exciting about La Liga by any means.

Arsenal Legend Patrick Vieira has become Crystal Palace’s new manager.  Lol.  He was once upon a time thought to be groomed to be the next Man City manager after Guardiola by the football journos which I found hilarious.

He did manage the academy and the b squad then moved the MLS to manage Man City’s sister squad NY Red Bulls.  But I don’t think that’s enough judging from what City wants to achieve in Europe.

Honestly, I'm not sure if Viera will do a good job and it's a shame that Crystal Palace have to make Viera their coach for next season, even though Viera spent her career in the English Premier League but I don't think Viera has enough experience to coach a team in the English Premier League, as far as I know, Viera was sacked from Nice last December because it wasn't able to lift Nice performance in League 1 last season, and that's the reason why I'm not sure if Viera will be able to lift Crystal Palace performance next season.

Yeah...  It could become like another Frank De Boer moment.  Lolol.  I think De Boer managed Crystal Palace for 7 - 8 matches or something which was hilarious cos he wasn’t really given much of a chance.

^  What a waste.  That guy was a great young prospect back in the day.  Mancini saw something in him and Mancini was even acting like some sort of father figure but he was just too stubborn to appreciate all the support being given.  If he only had listened, he could be one of the greats to have ever played the sport.

His goals against Germany in the European Championship semifinals were crazy. He was really an incredible soccer player, but his character completely destroyed his career. Others get destroyed by their health, knee, ankle or whatever. That guy just got busted by his own attitude and character. Unbelievable... He should have had a psychiatrist (maybe he had...).

It was not even just Mancini,,, if I recall correctly Brendan Rodgers at Liverpool even tried to take him. It was weird to see naughty boys end up at Liverpool at one point like Luis Suarez as well,,, but I guess it did not work for him even if it worked for Suarez.

And now he has another second chance, after many second chances. I still feel he was a good guy deep inside, let us hope for a late revival?

Oh yes you are right, I remember. Suarez was also a bad guy. You always had to expect him to do some crap on the pitch. Today he is just a fair player for the most part. Sometimes he is acting a good bit too much, gets slightly touched, falls and behaves as if he was going to die. I hate that attitude to be honest, I really hate it. That's what I like Messi so much for. That guy literally never acts. He jumps up and continues the game. There are crazy videos on Youtube on how it is impossible to tear down Messi. I think never in his career did he cheat for a penalty.

Once upon a time, there was a talented young player. He had a great history with Italy national team. Balotelli is about to sign with Adana Demirspor, who was promoted to the Turkish Super League this year after doing everything he could to ruin his career. When it comes to the Falcao example, he actually contributed quite well to the team in the games he played. In the 19/20 season, he scored 10 goals in 16 league games. In the 20/21 season, he scored 9 goals in 17 league games. But as you can see, he played for barely a half season in both years. So, you're right about it also. He is just a chronical injured player. I've no doubt that Galatasaray were happy with his performance when he had the chance. But I guess they're not happy with his big injury problems.

It's almost a tradition by now that every player that is well known and popular gets connected to a transfer to PSG. Most of these rumours ultimately turn out to be false, because not even PSG can't buy every interesting player on the market and most players still would prefer to go to clubs like Real Madrid or Barcelona instead of PSG because of the reputation.
I read today that Pogba may join Real Madrid and therefore Manchester United is looking to sign Leon Goretzka from Bayern Munich. It is said that Goreztka's contract extension in Munich is stalling because the player and the club are quite far apart in terms of salary.

Yeah, it's really interesting to see in a period like this. Although we're still in the covid-19 period, PSG don't seem to be affected too much. They are ready to make an offer for everyone. I wonder where they found this much money.    I'm curious about whether how many of these players will join PSG this summer. PSG can afford them seemingly but it doesn't mean that they'll definitely choose to go to PSG in the end.

One thing that bugs me out a bit is that AC Milan lost two key players Hakan and Donnarumma for free. And in March last year, AC Milan reported that they are working on that and are positive that they both will extend their contract in the end. Now one went to PSG and other to Inter. Wonder what went wrong
