Honestly playing with a team then playing vs its eternal enemy shouldn't be regarded as a forbidden mistake or a sin... I can understand the decision of a legend like Ramos in Real Madrid to not play with Barca or for example Messi if ever he refused to play with RM... but for other players whether they were good or not, moving to the opposite side shouldn't be a big deal.

I believe the reason why Spurs would decline this is the fact that there are talks about Haaland getting a 150 million offer, it is not official yet but that is the talk, Chelsea may end up offering that officially and if Haaland worths 150 million then Kane worths AT LEAST that much as well, dude has been ripping Premier League apart for nearly a decade by now, so it is really unfair to him to offer so much lower than what Haaland is getting. Haaland is better and younger for sure but to be on the safe side, Kane is a better option. Haaland was great in Bundesliga and there is no telling on how good could he play in Premier League while Kane has been proving himself to be one of the best striker in Premier League in these few years so Kane is kinda the safer option in this case

Everything will be decided after the European Championship and probably will be decided already in this transfer window, especially since Josep Guardiola himself announced that the transfer of Kane is the main transfer goal of the club for this summer. These are amazing news. As far as I know the sancho deal gets closer to 90 million with all the incentives included, Dortmund would have to be insane to deny such a big offer in a pandemic season, they could actually get great players on defense to not get scored this easily (their defense was horrible this year) so that Haaland could just score without having to worry about constantly getting scored, and they could use it to keep Haaland at least one more season and maybe have a chance to be at second position behind Bayern (instead of leipzig like this year).

Secondly James wasn't a good player in Real, it wasn't their mistake to send him, look at Bale dude sucked in Real because he was unhappy and he plays so well in Spurs now right? I am not surprised that this was only a rumor as Renato Sanches never seemed really happy at Bayern. I really like this player and i was very happy when he joined Bayern back in 2016, when he was considered as one of the biggest talents in Europe, but unfortunately he could never really succeed there. He has a short successful phase there during the Niko Kovac era but that also did not last long. I guess he was still too young back then, to go to a new club in a new country with a language that you don't understand is pretty hard. Now he is 23 years old and more experienced so i would be really happy if he would come back to Bayern, to prove that he is really that good.

As a City fan myself, I somewhat agree.  I’d rather see Pep acquire some unknown, young, talented prospect than see them get all those good players from other EPL clubs.  It’s like the Sterling acquisition.  I hated it.

Yes, indeed he is a professional player who needs money. But, as we know, it's not about where he goes, but his decision is a bit controversial for some Milan fans. he chose to refuse an extension from Milan and chose Inter for the next season, maybe this is not a problem if he might go to another club outside Italy and return to Italy for Inter on another season, maybe a decision like this would be more respectable for some fans who don't like milan players going to inter or to juve.

As I recall, Liverpool sold Sterling to City for £ 50mill. Sterling had a lot of potential back then, but I am not sure that he has grown significantly since then.

Transfermarkt still values Sterling at €90m and Real Madrid offering €120m it was jut right after his peak in value back in the beginning of 2020.
and his rise in value explained by having contribution by 24 goals in season 19/20 in EPL alone 20 of them were goals while the season before 18/19 he had contributed by 29 goals 17 of them were goals.
Last season was not his worst in the previous 4 seasons with Citizens, he had a real drop of in finishing big chances, that's what city missed the most but managed to win the EPL but lost UCL to Chelsea. No wonder now they are splashing cash on Tottenham face for Kane.
