Transfer rumours:

Barcelona and Juventus have made official approaches to sign 32-year-old Gabon striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on loan from Arsenal for the rest of the season. Which club will eventually go to?
England winger Raheem Sterling is set to resume contract talks with Manchester City. The 27-year-old's current deal runs out in the summer of 2023 and Barcelona, Paris St-Germain and Real Madrid remain interested in the player. The real question is what would be better for Sterling right now, stay or go to another club? It seems to me that PSG or Barcelona would be better options for him right now.
Newcastle United are expected to increase their bid for Brighton's 29-year-old English defender Dan Burn and are also interested in signing compatriot Eddie Nketiah, 22, from Arsenal. Striker Nketiah's deal runs out in the summer. Newcastle have a problem that not everyone believes in their project and many players are reluctant to come to this club. What Dan Burn and Eddie Nketiah will ultimately decide?
Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is open to staying at the club if interim manager Ralf Rangnick remains at Old Trafford. The 28-year-old Frenchman was set to leave the club in the summer after his contract expires but is said to be open to negotiations. When will this saga between Manchester United and Pogba, which has had so many twists and turns and take so long, finally end?  Cheesy

The problem is that I feel Aubameyang's attitude still needs to be improved. I like Arsenal and indeed Aubameyang is a pretty good player but his lack of discipline sometimes makes the coach and management angry.
when indeed the sale option still doesn't work, I feel it would be better if he was loaned to another club while improving himself, he can also polish his performance so it doesn't decrease.
Now as Arsenal is already fail to have their targeted Vlahovic, and they are going to sell some more, but they need to talk with Aubameyang because it's very important for them if they want to stay at top level in Premier League if they sell or loaned him without any proper replacement then surely they are going to face some big trouble and can lose their spot with very bad impact on all team as well.

Just read they are having few new targets, and they are trying their best for having them in their squad before end of this transfer window which is very significant for them and their performance in this Premier League. Barcelona is still looking for Aubameyang as on loan but Arsenal need to check all things before doing any contract.

Juventus want to sign Aubameyang too? Then it seems like that they are aiming to get rid of Alvaro Morata as quick as possible and bring Aubameyang to replace him. Juventus have already signed Dusan Vlahovic by paying a great deal of money like 70 million euros. After hearing about the Aubameyang news, I have started to think that Juventus are thinking of having two forward players on the front. Maybe they can play 4-4-2 if they end the Aubameyang transfer too. But Barcelona would make use of a striker transfer more than Juventus now and I hope they can sign him.

According to reports,Calum Chambers has signed for Aston Villa in a 3 and half year deal. This certainly does not look good to me because Chambers was a good defender that needs game time at Arsenal, and reports even came that Kieren Tierney took to Twitter to be unhappy as  Arsenal let the player go.

A good signing there for Aston Villa because i know he is going there to become their best defender.
The transfer of Chalum Chambers to Aston Villa really surprised me, because during this, Chalum Chambers was never speculated to be moving to Aston Villa, Chalum Chambers has been getting minimal playing time at arsenal and during this time he has often been loaned out to other clubs, so I think It's only natural that he feels frustrated and accepts an offer from Aston Villa at this time, besides that Aston Villa is reportedly getting a Chalum Chamber for free because the end of the season is the end of Chambers contract at Arsenal.
I'm personally quite disappointed with the number of Arsenal players leaving this season transfer market, and more painfully all this time we've always been rumored to be close to a number of new players who will become part of the Gunners, but so far we haven't seen a single transfer materialize in this season in arsenal. Cry

Actually I'm not that surprised Calum Chambers left Arsenal, because Arteta is rarely given the opportunity to play Calum Chambers. Moreover,
Calum Chambers has been at Arsenal since 2014, and until now still can not get a lot of playing time. So Calum Chambers made the right decision
to move to Aston Villa, then this is also a good move for Arsenal by releasing some players who did not make a good contribution. So Arsenal
can replace him with new players, but like you said Arsenal still failed to get the player they wanted. It's difficult if Arsenal want to get good players
if they don't play in the Champions League competition. Because most good players want to play in the Champions League competition, so this
season Arsenal must make it into the top 4, so that next season Arsenal can easily compete with other teams to get good players.
Calum Chambers has been given enough playing time in Arsenal to prove himself unfortunately he is very inconsistent in playing that right back position, he had been on loan to several clubs in the past yet I hadn't see any remarkable improvement in his play, he is too sluggish and not too pacy to cover-up space like Tomiyasu and Bellerin, though he is a good ball crosser, I think he took the best decision by signing for Aston Villa where a regular playing time would be guaranteed, Arsenal had a backup for Tomiyasu in Tavares while White can temporarily play that right back position too.

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is open to staying at the club if interim manager Ralf Rangnick remains at Old Trafford. The 28-year-old Frenchman was set to leave the club in the summer after his contract expires but is said to be open to negotiations.

So he is basically saying that he wants a permanent spot in the lineup as well as the huge paycheck from United huh. Obviously Rangnick is going to favour him over the others but at this rate, Rangnick is probably not going to stay as the manager next season.

When will this saga between Manchester United and Pogba, which has had so many twists and turns and take so long, finally end?  Cheesy

Probably until he find another team that is willing to take him in and offer him a huge paycheck as United offered him. He obviously has no intention to stay in United and he has shown it several times ( otherwise he would have sign the another extension after he was offered ) so the only reason that this whole saga isnt over yet is because he hasnt found another team that suits him

I don't think that Juventus is going to be that much interested in Aubameyang and in my opinion Barcelona might be a little more interested in him but Barcelona's interest depends on the price right now.

Raheem Sterling can be a good addition for both Barcelona and Real Madrid. In PSG there are already a lot of star players and I think he might not get the playtime he wants in PSG. But if PSG decides to let Kylian Mbappé go then that's a different story.

I think Pogba can certainly look for other clubs and it will be in his best interest but Manchester United should try to keep him in the squad.

Tottenham is currently unlucky in the transfer market. After Adama Traoré decided in favor of FC Barcelona instead of Tottenham yesterday, the next preferred candidate Luis Diaz from Woverhampton Wanderers will probably not go to London either, but to Liverpool FC. A delegation from Liverpool is on its way to South America as the player is currently with the Colombian national team.
https://www.theanfieldwrap.com/2022/01/writing-luis-diaz-serves-liverpool-reminder/

It’s really not a surprise that Adama Traore decided for Barca over Tottenham.  Traore is a La Masia graduate, so his heart is prolly always for Barcelona.  If they had a betting market for all player transfers, these things would be fun to put small bets in.  It’s like speculating in unknown altcoins with under 50m USD in market cap.  Cheesy

And yeah, you can’t blame Luis Diaz.  Tottenham is in shambles and they don’t exactly have the prestige to make players head turn once they come calling...  Unlike Man United, the club may be in shambles but due to their prestige, they could still convince elite players to join them.

The club has mastered the art of securing free transfers in recent months. Manchester United just can't seem to get the best out of Pogba. Other players will be able to come in and balance the paybook at least. Now that he has done his part, I think he should move on. If he wants to have freedom of expression and movement, he should go where he can.

The French club are reported to have made Paul Pogba their main transfer target this summer.

Quoted from Fabrizio Rumano's twitter tweet, Frank Lamard officially returned to coach in the primary league and Everton became the second team he coached after being sacked by Chelsea a year ago. This has dismissed rumors that Wayne Rooney will replace Rafael Benitez at Everton after the coach was sacked due to the toffees poor run of results in the Premier League this season. Return of Lampard is expected to be able to return Everton to the top position because at this time a series of bad results made Everton almost enter the relegation zone and was thrown into the 16th position of the standings.
Is this official because until now I haven't seen it official or not, but if you look at a source that is very reliable, I don't even doubt this because Fabrizio Romano is one of my references in seeing the movement of transfers for players and coaches.
I also see that the Everton Maneuver is also currently approaching Donny van de Beek as his target.

Well slowly slowly players are leaving Arsenal who have fallen out of Arteta's favour and it's not their fault also, they gotta think of their future themselves. Arsenal are also doing things right by not forcing them to stay. They are just sending players on loan who they think will be useful in future and rest on permanent transfers.
Big potential players are tough to get as they face stiff competition from other big teams. Take Vlahovic for example, it was a tough one but eventually he went to Juventus. Still it's not an end of the road, they can still find a good potential striker as there are lot who are grabbing attraction. Once we have a striker I think Arsenal will be complete and will be interesting to see their form then.

I believe from the player's point of view they are doing the right thing because they need the playtime under their belt or else they might become rusty. And good job on Arsenal's part also as they are not forcing the players to stay. I think the mutual understanding between the players and the club is very good here.

But Arsenal also needs a good striker who can impact the game very well. Maybe time for Arsenal to make some moves on the transfer market.

Cheesy
Yeah and you can’t blame Luis Diaz.  Tottenham is in shambles and they don’t exactly have the prestige to make players head turn once they come calling...  Like Man United, they club may be in shambles but due to their prestige, they could still convince elite players to join them.

Well, obviously these types of things happen in the transfer market so Tottenham should look for other options. But I think if they could get Luis Díaz, it would have been great for the team. The 25-year-old winner would have made the attack really strong for Tottenham, an area which they have been struggling on for some time.

An agreement has been reached with FC Barcelona regarding the loan of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The transfer can only take place if Ousmane Dembélé leaves the club. Chelsea should sign him, he is an excellent winger. Anyway, Manchester United is monitoring all the wingers in the world. If not, his career is at risk of being further ruined. Aubameyang is a much better player than Dembele. Do they have a chance to succeed?

Juventus are pulling off some great players here. First Vlahovic and then Zakaria- striker and midfielder and both with massive potential. Can't wait to see how they perform in this new team.

Aubameyang is a much better player than Dembele. Do they have a chance to succeed?

Aubameyang is a great player but right now he is quite out of form and he is aging as well so not sure about it. On loan is good as it wouldn't give much dent to their pocket but honestly I don't feel his contribution would be massive.

I totally agree with you. They have so many wingers that players like Anthony Martial is sent on loan just because he's not given the minutes. This season they bought Sancho who is not performing to his level. What United needs now is a central or defensive midfield rather than a winger. They should not be going after Luis Diaz as it would totally be a waste of money and talent in my opinion

I think Man United's performance will improve if they can get good midfielders and defenders. So buying a new winger will not solve Man United's problems and it may even cause jealousy among the players because there are too many players in that position.

Man United was linked with Ruben Neves, and I think it would be better for Man United if they tried to sign Ruben Neves instead of Luis Diaz. Ruben Neves is a good defensive midfielder and he will quickly settle in at Man United because he has often played with Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes.

Manchester United should definitely focus on strengthening their defense and midfield. After that, they can focus on their attacking line the most. Because they are not very good at defending now and they have big problems on creating many goal chances in some matches. Maybe it is tactical but they can still solve this problem easier by making the right signings. As Manchester United already have a strong lineup, they don't need to replace many of their players.

The midfield and the front line are still not enough, indeed for Manchester United, some changes are needed, but Rangnick still believes in the existing players and is not interested in other players so for me this is still lacking in passing forward. Ronaldo and his duet friends are also not compatible, if Cavani is still too old and Rasford is still less reliable, Greenwood is a little selfish by wanting to score his own goals, so Man United's victory is never much because there is no deadly kick execution.

Very good point- they need a good strong defender to play alongside Varane and also a good strong defensive midfielder who is very committed and there is only one names that pops up in my mind and that is Aston Villa's midfielder John McGinn and I really feel that this will be a massive and value signing for United and right now there are reports of United interested in the player.

Manchester United have experienced defenders like Eric Bailly and Raphael Varane. United have world-class star midfielders like Pogba and Bruno. Yet you say their defense and midfield are weak? I don't think so. Manchester United have enough talented players everywhere in defense, midfield and forward. But due to weak tactics, the players are not able to perform well in their place.

You have a good point there but here is the thing. Paul Pogba is speculated like that he is most likely to leave the team this summer at the very latest. His contract is already ending this summer unless he signs a new one. And for now, it seems like this won't be happening. Manchester United really don't seem like they are very eager to keep him at the team. If I were in their place, I would definitely give my best to do this. If Pogba leaves for real, then they will have to bring a new midfielder who can replace him in the best way possible.

I'm pretty sure Raheem Sterling was seriously considering an exit from City few months back cause he was used sparingly and he hardly ever got playing time, but I think the situation has changed in the last couple of weeks, he was finally able to fight his way back into the team, and he has been in excellent form of late, he even picked up the EPL player of the month award for last month, I believe all this could influence Sterlings decision, and he could go on to renew his contract. I know Pep does not give any guarantees to his players that they'll start games, and Sterling will likewise have that at the back of his mind too, what if he falls out of favor again, it's a tight decision, and Raheem Sterling has to make one which is best for his career, and in my opinion it's best he stays in City and competes for a place in the team.
