When it comes to Guardiola I'm curious about his future at Manchester City. I mean there was a time I remember that he commented like he would think of leaving the team earlier than the expectations. Maybe it was only a speculation because he doesn't have such intention for now seemingly. He must be targeting to win the Champions League title first before even thinking of such action to take. If they become the champions this season then I will definitely be starting to wonder about this again.

Because Guardiola has built an amazing system for the team. After his departure they might enter a really interesting road depending on who their next manager would be. In case of such situation I would really like to see Zidane here.    He would be like the second best option to keep this team the same and even better maybe who knows.

I don't understand why Madrid wants Martinez, so far Martinez's impact on Milan has been very small, very different from Osimhen's.
as far as i see, madrid is only interested in potential strikers and osimhen is their best candidate, benzema will be old and neglected just like any great striker ever was in madrid and osimhen is a good candidate to replace benzema

It makes sense if Real Madrid is interested in Lautaro Martínez, he is a good striker and he is an ideal alternative if Real Madrid fails to sign Osimhen. Although Martínez can't show a big contribution for Inter Milan this season, doesn't mean he is a bad striker. He may not fit with the current strategy/tactic applied by Inter Milan coach. If he moves to Real Madrid, he may perform at his best again. Real Madrid scouts must know well how good Martínez, so they want to sign him.

I assume Benzema will stay a long time in Real Madrid, maybe until his retirement. Even if Real Madrid signs a new striker, they seem to keep Benzema on the squad. Benzema has a big role, he is the captain of Real Madrid as well.

I think Manchester City are a straight forward club especially now with Guardiola, if you  are not performing there is no point keeping you and spending much money on wages that is how City operates. It’s a shame that Grealish has not been able to live up to expectations at City and is slowly losing his place in Guardiola's first eleven squad. I can't imagine Zidane managing Manchester City honestly. It feels like it wouldn't be his style because Manchester City are playing a different game than the one Zidane is used to. The players are also fitting this game plan especially. Zidane was great with Real Madrid but his game plan and strategies were very different compared to Manchester City's style.

Therefore maybe he might not be a good choice for this team. I would rather see Arteta in case Guardiola leaves. Because Arteta was his assistant at Manchester City in the past. He wouldn't have big problems on adaptation.

There is nothing Grealish will do to outperform somebody like Forden in a team that Guardiola is the coach.
The best thing for the young guy to do is to look for a another club where he can play even if it's not up to the status of Manchester City

Mendy was always making so many blunders. Signing new goal keeper may make chelsea has so many goal keeper now. I think that the main concern must not also in the goal keeper but chelsea has so many problems with its midfielder. Nkuku may become a new striker for chelsea but to be honest with the current midfielder in the club and it doesn't enough for chelsea to get the best performance again. It was only making a few goals from last 5 matches that already happened with 2 draw and 3 loses.
A new rumour about todd may sack potter has become the hottest topic about chelsea recently. That will be useless to sign new players once the coach will be replaced again.

since there is unfortunately no separate thread for the scottish league and i think this news is important, glasgow rangers have sacked his coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst after only about a year. the dutchman, who had already been active as a player for the scots, had won the cup with the rangers in the past season 2021/22 and had also entered the final of the el. currently rangers are already nine points behind local rivals and defending champions celtic glasgow in the championship race.

Can this bring Steven Gerrard back there? Chelsea problem isn't defense instead it's the midfield and wingbacks, any team that dominate those positions easily score us lots of goals. We have great defenders but when you put defenders under too much pressure than they can absorbed then they'll break and the keeper will be left exposed. We should be more focused on signing quality defensive and creative midfielders. The current ones are very average. Players like jorginho can't be relyed on as he's very poor defensively and players like Kovačić isn't that creative and neither is any of the midfielder we currently have excluding mason mount.

The right wingback which is the position of Reece James is lacking a like to like replacement incase Reece James is injured . Positions as this are what the club should be focus on and not signing players we have in good quality. Mendy and Kepa are good goal keepers and don't forget we also signed another goalie in last summer window so why do we need another goalie when we have three quality ones already.

I don't know how long Kepa is injured because to me Chelsea has a good Keeper in Kepa and Mendy is there as a backup to Kepa. Bringing in a new keeper means to sell Mendy. But Chelsea has a more problem of who will put the ball at the back of the net than the problem of who will save the ball from entering the net.

I do not rate Pickford as a quality goalkeeper, i know with the English media behind him he could seem superb a goalkeeper, but i absolutely do not agree, Pickford makes quite a lot errors in goal. Everton conceded 66 goals last season, and they have conceded 17 goals in 14 games this season, they also lose more games than they draw, thus i do not know where you get the notion that Pickford is a good goalkeeper because Everton do not concede much, and that they draw most games.

Having said that, Chelsea have good goalkeepers in their team, Mendy might not be at his best right now, but i don't think their main problem is goalkeeping, even if they are to sign a new goalkeeper, it would prolly be next summer, and by that time they'd let one of their current goalkeepers leave.

Chelsea already boasts two world-class keepers, so they don't need any more. Pickford is not on Kepa or Mendy's level, thus Chelsea should focus on fixing their striker problems before worrying about the keeper. I believe Chelsea will recover once the offensive problems are resolved.

Purchasing Pickford will force them to sell either Kepa or Mendy because they can't employ him as a backup goalie as he plays for the first team.

Samuel Chukwueze is still pretty young.
I think he has some great potential. But I don’t know why Aston Villa is so determined to bring him.

Jordan Pickford is a very good goalkeeper and I think he can be a good asset for Chelsea.

German Sky Sport is reporting that after Karim Benzemas injury Real Madrid is interested in signing AC Milan striker Lautaro Martinez.

IMHO, with a market value of €75m and a contract until 2026, Lautaro Martinez might not come cheap if signed. It's hard to imagine Real Madrid wanting to spend so much money on a new player in the winter. But you never know. If any club is willing to spend a lot, it's probably Real Madrid. Thoughts?

It is highly unlikely that Real Madrid will be able to get him for anything less than €100 million. It is probably the bare minimum amount that they will have to spend if they want to get Lautaro Martinez. In my opinion, he has the potential to be a good player for Real Madrid in the future. This is absolutely legit in my opinion.

Bayern will end up signing a striker whether it is him or another player. They are doing good so far but they need more firepower to be able to maintain positive results whether it was in Bundesliga or Champions League.
Dortmund won't hold its players for long as usual so whenever they find a suitable offer they will let him go so it is up for Bayern to decide.
