Manchester United are indecisive about making a January move for a striker or not. I think they should go for a striker at the earliest opportunity if Rashford and Martial don't improve their performances. Rashford was better than this some weeks ago. He was making use of the chances got in the starting eleven in a really great way. But he started to struggle about scoring goals again. Martial is also not a consistent player. Sometimes we see him being really productive but it doesn't last long.

If they want to be a serious contender for top 4 then they need an improvement in scoring these days. Their incapabilities have caused them to have big problems on getting comfortable wins against much weaker teams. They have really tough opponents aiming top 4 at the same time. Manchester United are like the worst one among them in terms of the amount of scored and conceded goals.

From my point of view, Manchester United doesn't seem to be very interested in improving its squad very much. This is what I think is happening with Manchester United, at least after the video of Cristiano Ronaldo was exposed. Manchester United should bring in a striker really fast. At least that's what we understand.

But who is Manchester United trying to bring in? Memphis Depay?

He did not have a particularly impressive performance at Manchester United last time he played for MU. And Manchester United also have to improve their performance because they are just a little too inconsistent right now. And with this performance, they are not on track to finish in the top four in my opinion.

I have no problem with whatever strategy Erik Ten Hag will implement with Manchester United, including bringing in many players from the Eradivisie to the Manchster United squad. As long as it makes Manchester United better then he is free to do whatever. Even though it would cause a lot of displeasure when he did that. When he included Martinez in the squad, there was initially debate as to why Ten Hag had brought him in. The reason he doesn't have the ideal body for a centre-back and whatnot. But over time, Martinez showed that Erik Ten Hag was not wrong to bring him to Old Trafford. Competition in the fight for this one player will run quite tight. Because there are so many big teams that want to bring him in, Cody Gakpo will be confused about which team to choose. Yeah he is not a striker at all. Although he had played in that position but winger is his much comfortable position. I also don't think United are thinking about getting him at all. They just need striker, wingers are good with Sancho and Antony but they need someone reliable who can create pressure inside the box and tuck the ball in when there is decent enough chance. Ten Hag can rely on Martial, he still can be useful with scoring goals and creating pressure but team like United needs someone consistent and I don't think Martial can be consistent at all. Maybe he can develop and become consistent in future but right now I don't think he is consistent performer at all.

I think Erik Ten Hag did that because he understands the character of the players he brought to Old Trafford, it will make it easier for him to strategize if he understands the character of the players. This will indeed be a question why he is so ambitious to bring many names from Eradivisie. However, if that is his decision, then no one can stop him because there is a need in the squad for him to understand exactly what to do and who to bring in.

If this rumor is true then Juventus might be able to match that bid for Savic if they are really interested in him. For them to make space, they will likely be open to sell Rabiot. McKennie and Paredes can still be useful for Juventus but they might be open to selling them as long as there is a right bid.
