This is something that happens every season. The same can be said for almost every transfer market.
In all honesty, Real Madrid do not need him at the moment. As far as Mbappe is concerned, he probably does not need to play for Real Madrid.

There is no doubt that he is happy with the amount of money that he gets from PSG.
Real Madrid, on the other hand, is also happy with the players that they have right now in their squad.
