I also don't think that Memphis Depay should be the number one target of Manchester United. I just don't see him as an absolute top player in european football to be honest. Don't get me wrong he is a talented player but definitely not in the same league as the best ones in my opinion. Also i am not sure if Depay really has the character to be an absolute top player that also is able to lead his team to a victory or through a difficult match. For me he seems like one of those ghetto-kids that made a big fortune pretty much out of nowhere because of his talent in football and now he kinda became a pretty big diva that only plays good if he is in a good mood.

I think it will be better to bring in Victor Osimhen, as @Oluwa-btc said. But it is also certain that Victor Osimhen is not coming to Manchester United right now. What other options does Manchester United have?

Erling Haaland and Mbappe are not in the options. And rather than getting Memphis Depay right now, I would suggest that they save the money and bring a striker later.

Trevoh Chalobah's experience is a clear proof that talented players need to be given opportunity to improve their standard. Under Thomas Tuchel Chalobah was a shaky defender that always made mistakes. His passes were not usually accurate and he seems not to be confident. But we have seen this youngster improve tremendously after the sack of the German tactician.

He is a young player who has shined quite a bit in the 2 matches played by the Netherlands. Interestingly in these 2 matches he was always in a different position because if you look at the first match he was one of the second strikers there but today's match was different.

Joao Felix is more of an attacking minded player and Athletico Madrid aren't that team. His defensive attributes is low and he needs to move away from the club. Manchester United offers an opportunity for a him to work with a coach who is possessive minded but Felix won't be used as a centre forward as the media put it, that's why United are in pursuit of PSV's Coady Gakpo and the deal could be done this January and then Felix in the summer.

Depay isn't a bad player but he was young when he moved to United and the Premier league. And he didn't get it right because of the tenacity in the Premier league. Felix is very good player, and surely he deserves better playing time which is currently not available at Atlético Madrid and his mind to change club is also good with most chances he could pick quickly and most chances he will be available in any other big club because in current transfer window we are going to have few teams could be busy and try to catch early few players which help them for having positive change for their teams until end of this season specially few English clubs are struggling, and they can make inquiries as well even right now nothing is clear, but surely he could be in better place with his bright future.

No body wants to pay a huge fee for Felix and he will probobly stay for a really long time in Atletico Madrid. But with Simeone as the coach he cannot show his true potencial because Atletico Madrid mostly plays defence and they dont make many chances per match. Inter Milan is trying to be very considerate on their player Lukaku. They have not forgotten how he helped them last season to do very well in the League.

Ten Hag really needs a pure striker to sharpen United's attack line. throughout this season, United have faced problems on the front lines, which lack sharpness. IMO, Cody Gakpo is the most ideal for the Ten Hag style of play. at least Manchester United will compete with Arsenal who are also targeting this PSV striker.

Yeah United desperately does need a reliable striker. Gakpo is a big name now with his form in World Cup and I am sure there will be lot of clubs after him now. He is gonna cost a lot for United if they are to really go after him. I like another name in that list which is Toney. Brentford striker has been the reason behind Bees success and he leads the attack very well. Furthermore he has PL experience as well so I would say bringing Toney will be a very good deal for United.

If someone agrees to leave in the middle of the season to join another team, that would probably be a good thing. But if I were a player, I would wonder if I could adapt so quickly to another team. I think MU will not buy a striker in the winter transfer window... Although if you think about it, money might solve the problem...

Leandro Trossard has been one of the attention getting players in the EPL since the beginning of the season. 7 goals and 3 assists in 14 matches. I think these are very impressive statistics considering that he is a left winger. There are so many strikers in the league who can't score even this many goals. Interestingly, Brighton still haven't extended his contract as it expires next summer. This makes me think like maybe he doesn't want to rush for anything. He might be waiting an offer from a bigger club first.

At this point, Chelsea might intervene in January. There are some news like Chelsea are interested in signing him in this transfer window. This might be a good transfer for them in case they don't sign Ronaldo instead. I still think they would make use of a striker more. But of course Trossard is really playing like a striker already at the same time.

Indeed Leandro Trossard has been very impressive this season for Brighton, he has already registered 7 goals and 3 assists this season making him one of the most sort players in this transfer window. I really wish Arsenal will go for him because we need strengthening in our attack and a little more options for Saka and Martinelli. No one can stop these rumors as right now Manchester United is under development, and they are having inquiries about many players even few are just giving updates about their availability just for increasing price.

Yeah United desperately does need a reliable striker. Gakpo is a big name now with his form in World Cup and I am sure there will be lot of clubs after him now. He is gonna cost a lot for United if they are to really go after him. I like another name in that list which is Toney. Brentford striker has been the reason behind Bees success and he leads the attack very well. Furthermore he has PL experience as well so I would say bringing Toney will be a very good deal for United.

Cody Gakpo is currently under radar of few teams and these are already having inquiry about his availability from PSV, but their reply is not positive with most chances he could be not available for this season and summer transfer window will allow player and club for having some talk about his future right now Arsenal, Manchester United and few Italian clubs are hunting for him but nothing is clear where he wants to go for his bright future, but we can expect something good for Manchester United from other sources as well as Harry Kane is also under their radar and his future at Tottenham is also depended on their position at the end of this season if they are not able to have good spot then surely many changes will happen, and he will also try to have good club in near future.

I also think like that, this will indeed be an unfavorable condition for Manchester United even though they are currently on a pretty good track and of course the shock about Ronaldo's departure and the chaos of the club that will be sold will obviously affect performance in my opinion.
It's a good thing it's currently in the international break phase because otherwise this could have an impact on the game.

I hope all those issues related to Ronaldo exit and selling of the club will not have any negative impact on the club after the World Cup, I think the club management should settle the issue of selling the club once and for all to avoid all sort of distractions to the players and the club, Ronaldo's issue had been dragged on for so long and I am happy his grudges with the manager and the board had been finally put to rest following his departure from the club invariably the remaining players will focus on the game and concentrate on playing well to prove a point, players like Anthony can fill the void left by Ronaldo.

At the moment it depends on the attitude of Manchester United I think if they can bring at least one player up front because this can also have an impact even though there are some good players there for the squad but it's still not enough because of course Ronaldo's absence can be a big impact real for them even though earlier in the season Ronaldo didn't really break out for them but still it will have a bit of an impact on the game when he's not around.
