It is not money at all, it is about being the greatest of all time and that is the discussion. If you ask me, I would say Messi and Ronald are 1-2 in worlds greatest football player ever, better than anyone else in history. Do we really realize how much goals they had to score, how many cups, how many assists, how many awards?

These guys did something that not many people could even come close to replicating. Majority of the football world will not do 50% of what they did, let alone get close, that's like 99% footballers who won't even do 50% what they did. Only a select amazing few could do 80% of what they did, but nobody can do what they did. Does this impact the first place? Surely age factor was the biggest issue as no elite club were ready to take him with finances was also issue because we all now he was one of highest salary taker in UEFA and just because of this few months back few clubs already fail to have him in their club like Napoli, Atlético Madrid and Roma those were ready to accept him but as they have talked about salary then talks every time ended without any further notice so with this all we can say finances was also very important for him, so now he has done good deal for himself which will give him tag of world's most paid soccer player and things could be on his way drastically.

People are highly criticizing him but I believe that he has done the right thing for himself. We need to be realistic here. There was no team meeting his criteria making a contract offer to him and there wasn't going to be also obviously. There was no meaning in rejecting a gigantic offer by Al-Nassr at that point. In the end, he was still willing to continue to play football professionally no matter he was going to join a European team or not. Why wouldn't he turn down this opportunity then, right? 

He can earn his money and secure his remaining life after his retirement.

Their is no need criticising him, he has the right to decide to choose the club he wants to play for. Playing football is the job he does , their is not wrong for him to play Al Nassr. Nobody has to say anything bad is new club.

Well, regardless of anything, I think this condition will still benefit Ronaldo. Stupid or not this is a decision he has made and the choice is the best for him from his own perspective.
