Having said that, i think Nunez would eventually be a hit for Liverpool, and ironically the signing of Gakpo could help his career because sometimes competition helps a player improve, i think the competition in Liverpool's attack would help all of them to improve in order to play, and it would be a win-win for the players individually and the club too.

I didn't know why people have been busy flying the negative news of Nunez. They have refused to measure the young guy in his own abilities. It is either they are measuring him with Haaland or they are measuring him with Mane.
Being signed after Mane was sold doesn't mean he is standing in place of Mane and must therefore play like Mane.
It is very difficult to see a player that can play like Mane because the guy is very dedicated and selfless.

It's true, it's just that right now Nunez doesn't have the qualities to match. Although mostly negative but that's the fact. This time the rumours are telling that they are trying to sign Atletico Madrid's youngster Joao Felix. He has been a target for some big teams these days already of course. De jong also will get a sanction from barcelona caused by de jong refuses to cut his salary. De jong must move from barcelona rather than stay with very difficult situation like that. I meant let's take a look at the fact that if de jong being hated by barcelona itself. He’s a very good addition to this Liverpool side. Gakpo has all the attributes required of a modern forward. It hints at a player with a cool mind, and an ability to keep emotions under control, make good decisions and execute under pressure. I know Klopp to maximize his abilities and mould him into a kind of player suitable for his system. I can’t lie, Manchester United will surely regret not signing him.

It’s official that Cody Gakpo has joined Liverpool. Honestly I didn’t see this coming. We all expected Manchester United to get him as they were the one certain about Gakpo's deal. But talks between Liverpool and PSV were at an advanced stage on Monday night as Liverpool moved to head off competition from Manchester United. Manchester United had instigated talks but were still to finalise a financial offer and Liverpool have taken advantage. I don’t know if Ten Hag really wanted him because he would have gotten the boy before Liverpool. It’s a good player and a good addition to the Liverpool team.

I think Manchester have missed out yet on another star player just as they missed out on Carmavinger before Real Madrid snapped up the deal and got him to sign. Nunez's performance was really bad at this moment since liverpool must compete in some competitions at the same time and liverpool has no choice other than buy gakpo from PSV. I am really surprised by this news because as far as I know Gakpo is closer to Manchester United but somehow he ended up going to Liverpool
So this is Liverpool's first step to improve their performance spend around $40-50 Million   I know Liverpool are still ambitious to finish in the top 4
