Manchester City does not have to make a lot of purchases this winter. They have their affairs in order with the team, and they are always looking for specific players who can perform optimally within the team. Some players have proved unworthy in past years after been purchased on the basis of one season or one world cup outing wonder, they flop the next season. I won't blame any club that decides not to sign players because of their one off outstanding performance,it is not good for business. Manchester United need to sign players who will stand the test of time and stay consistent year to year not just in the world cup.

I agree about this with mostly players came from World Cup performance not able to give as clubs needed which mean it is just waste of funds but now if few clubs looking for suitable replacements surely they can go with the players club performance because with this better results possible and clubs can take good performance from the players instead of having just based on world cup performance now Manchester United looking for few players so better for them to have just based on their previous performance from club statics because this could be more helpful and will give them good result as well.

Hopefully now we will have suitable players for Manchester United from good performance based on their overall performance because as someone gives example in above post this could be not ideal buying.

The FIFA World Cup and club side games have different performance sometimes because these players get too relaxed after they get signed. Club performance should be a better criterion for signing players not world cup because at their various club level if they keep up with their super performance despite their allowances they will maintain them no matter which club the move to but the world cup is the reverse.

I agree with you, my dear,  I don't believe any player that has a strong showing in just one season before the media begins to tout them as a world-class athlete. Players that excelled during the world cup have been known to struggle the following year. Performance at the World Cup shouldn't be used as a criterion for teams to sign players. It need to be based on their reliability at the club levels.

Even Cody Gakpo that Man Utd is interested in due to his present level of performance and fitness. He needs to remain at PSV for many seasons to demonstrate his skills because I don't trust him. before Man Utd even considers making an offer for him.

if the Club doesn't have big ambitions with its squad. of course, some of the top players who of course want to experience trophies and wins will choose more ambitious clubs.
It has been rumored that Son and Kane will be looking for a new club since last summer if Tottenham does not try to make good progress towards becoming champions. because they are aware, of their current squad. competing with other big clubs in the Premier League will be difficult for Tottenham.
I support that Son will find a new club for himself which I think is more suitable for his skills.

Competition in the Premier League is very tight so if you don't improve in the squad then it will be left behind just like Spurs who are still having a hard time breaking into some of the other teams so they need a better squad with several players having to be brought in by Spurs.
There have been reports previously about Son looking for a new club in the summer of 2023 and Real Madrid have been eyeing the Tottenham man but all is still unclear and Son is still under a long contract with Spurs.
It looks like Harry Kane will be in a dilemma if Conte leaves him if he doesn't extend his contract, despite all that, many have been waiting for Kane to move from Sprus.

I think it is still early for Messi to leave PSG. There isn't even any other official offer for him by another team these days. It just feels like only Barcelona would be interested in signing from now on. He isn't like Ronaldo in terms of performance of course. He has been much more impressive than him in the recent times. He has proven how strong he still is by his performance in the World Cup also. However not many teams would be eager to meet his demands as they would be quite big.

Even Barcelona wouldn't think of such deal while they are not in a good financial condition. They couldn't even meet Messi's demands when he accepted a pay cut by 50%. Hence I expect him to sign for PSG for one more year at worst.

Well Nkunku is a good option, because Aubameyang is a very good player and he needs help, I see that Chelsea is a team that is getting very in tune with everything, Poter is undoubtedly a very good manager, some criticize him a lot, but I think Nkunku is the perfect choice, now we have to wait, I don't know if now they only have Nkunku in view, as I see it I think there may be other player options, when Aubameyang played for Barcelona he did so excellent, for me it was a mistake that he left, this is something that I don't know how Xavi thought of releasing it, but hey, everyone decides how their team will go.

According to Mirror (h/t Evening Standard), Chelsea are set to test the waters of RB Leipzig with a £45m bid for Croatian defender Josko Gvardiol.

Money isn't everything for Ronaldo, he may expect to play at top clubs and top leagues throughout her career.
But I agree that Al-Nassr offer is a good option than Ronaldo must spend the next season without joining any club. He will be 38 years old in the next season, I assume he won't play above 40. So, he only has 3 years (3 seasons) to play as a professional footballer. He is better to play in Al-Nassr for 2-3 seasons before thinking of retirement.

I assume Ronaldo has another offer, that's why he still didn't decide to move to Al-Nassr. If he has no alternative, he seems to end up in Al-Nassr.

That's wrong. Aubameyang didn't suit with chelsea's strategy. it can be seen from his performance during his match with chelsea and he was rarely making the goal. I know that if chelsea got so many problems on the club but aubameyang's performance is far from what already expected by chelsea fan. Chelsea has been trying so many times to get the quality striker but the problem is since chelsea was always changing its formation and that would be so difficult to get the new striker that can suit with the strategy that used by chelsea.
Nkuku will come next year but im not sure if he will be coming in january. Chelsea was targeting some strong defenders for now like gvardiol.

David de Gea will be the player who possibly will leave this summer this because Manchester United have a plan not to extended his contract but actually Ten Hag was satisfied with De Gea performance and the management should give him contract extension but rumours said why Manchester United aren't willing to extended his contract because De Gea as one of the player with the highest salary in this team and he is now 32 years old however actually De Gea still happy in Manchester United and he will waiting the solution of this issue and he said cut off salary on his new contract will be fine because he want to stay at this team

There are some MU that may leave from the club in january. Let's see how these players will be determining their futures. Im sure that one or two from them may accept the short term contract but that's has not yet decided by them.

If Manchester United wants to give De Gea contract he will gladly accept because he is getting old and I read news somewhere that he is having some eye problems that was why Manchester United had to sign another goal keeper. I know that Manchester United has a goal keeper in loan in one of the English clubs and he may likely come back after this season. If Manchester United will give him contract it will, it will not be more than 2yrs.

If Manchester United does not wants to extend the contract of de Gea, it is actually not going to be very good for the player because I don't know if at this age any team is going to be interested in him, especially with the amount of salary that he asks for. And I think Manchester United does not want him in the team just because of the salary. He will have to take a pay cut if he wants to actually play in a top-tier team. I don't think Manchester United is going to offer him a contract extension. Might have to move even though he actually wants to stay in Manchester United.

I think Manchester City does a good job. Because they rely on Erling Haaland only for goals. The others supply the ball to him and he is trusted to do the finishing job. And he’s doing the job quite well. I think Manchester City have excellent teamwork. The problem is that during certain matches they are not being able to perform as they should. Just like the match against Liverpool. Liverpool was not in very good shape, but Manchester City still lost against Liverpool.

I also agree that Erling Haaland is the most successful or at least one of the most successful transfers that Manchester City have made recently. At least this is far better compared to what they did when they brought in Jack Grealish for 100 million.

Manchester are a good team far better with Guardiola as the manager. I think they are doing a really good job putting together are very sophisticated and strong team in the English league. Erling Haaland's introduction has also strengthened their attack even more as he gives them that confidence and sharpness going forward which he executes so well. When the money is there it is easier to put the team to preferred standard to compete at all levels and win trophies.

I read last month that Chelsea have reached an agreement with Nkunku on a deal to join the Blues, with fees all agreed including medical completed. This is a very good signing for Chelsea and I can now see that the new owner has a project in sight and a standard in which he wants the club to be playing on which is very impressive. Surely Chelsea will have a much better attack with Nkunku, Rahim Sterling and Zakaria. The new owner has good plans for the club.

I didn't see Hakim Ziyech in your mention even with all his incredible performance at the world cup which same sterling I saw you mentioning didn't have any impact in the world cup. Just like you, the manager needs to start tapping from the incredible skills and play of Hakim Ziyech, we're killing a player here by not playing him and if Chelsea let this one go just as we have done to future stars in the past, it's going to be a lost that we would regret in the future. Hakim isn't that young neither has he gone passed his prime.

In regards to the strengthening of the attack, I think Chelsea should push more for Rafael Leao, he'll be vital at the right instead of sterling, with Rafael leap at the right and Ziyech at the left with James and Cucurella both playing wingback, I think Chelsea has a strong attack that can create chances for our goals. I believe after the January transfer window, Chelsea attack will be back in form.

Hakim Ziyech was one of the standout players in the tournament this year, he did put his heart and everything into this tournament and helped his country go as far as the semi finals in this world cup so he deserves praises for his immerse effort in the team. He shut critics and shown that he is still able to perform at top level and deserves a chance again at chelsea which at this junction I expect to be given to him when the league resumes.

Every coach should have a fairly broad view like Graham Potter, he buys players who can fill in several positions and not just one position, so when the match feels difficult he can set a strategy by entering players who can fill these various positions and Nkunku is the best option so far, but I don't think chelsea will be satisfied with just one player, they will definitely buy more players in the future.

I saw that Cristiano Ronaldo did not care about money, rejecting this offer. While it was almost impossible for a football player to earn that money, it was unthinkable for Cristiano, who did not accept the best deal of his career even at the end of his career. No football player could easily refuse this. An incredible offer. 500 Million Euros. I can't even imagine the size of the money. For a moment I thought I wished he had accepted.
