While there are rumors that Guardiola wants to sign Donnaruma and if he succeeds, it will be a great move, because from the confident game of the goalkeeper many depends, and Donnaruma essentially took the Italian national team out of the group, his confident game at Euro 2024.
Yes this will be so good for Manchester City to bring the Italian spider Gianluigi Donnarumma to the club. Because currently he is too young his performance is just absolutely superb. Gianluigi Donnarumma is 25 years old and their current contract will be expire in 2026. So it would be a nice move if they had done it successfully. Earlier, Manchester City had an opportunity to sign Gianluigi Donnarumma, but the club rejected it. In the previous deal, PSG wanted to do a swap deal in which they offered Gianluigi Donnarumma and Marco Verratti to sign Bernardo Silva in 2023. But Manchester City rejected it. So now it is the best opportunity to sign Gianluigi Donnarumma because the current goalkeeper of Manchester City has more chances to move to Saudi Arabia because many clubs are interested in the Saudi Arabia leagues.

If I were Donnarumma you would immediately go to City, a team made to win and tailor-made for him too in my opinion with an excellent defensive department that can help a goalkeeper who in my opinion is incredible, as we know in Italy it is an excellent school for goalkeepers but this boy he is a real phenomenon just look at his performances with Italy he was clearly the best of the team who saved the games save after save so he would be an excellent signing for them

One of the odd things this season for me is Liverpool's links with Kubo. ECHO says that this talk is premature instead of fake news[1], so either the plan exists but they don't do anything concrete about it or they just scrapped it and looked for other players if this were to be believed. I'm unsurprised if an agent pushes this rumor to increase Kubo's values. Anyway, they are very quiet in this transfer window with so many rumours suggesting more players want to exit the club instead. Who knows what they will do next season?

[1] https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-transfer-news-live-kubo-29582434
Liverpool is very quite for transfer players compared to other clubs such as Manchester United or Chelsea because although Liverpool currently were linked to some players but apparently this only a rumour and as a Liverpool fans i was waiting the players who will bought by Arne Slot this summer because i was very excited want to see the performance of Liverpool under Arne Slot for next season

Currently Arne Slot still focusing to train Liverpool players so he didn't talk too much about transfer players but few days ago i was read the news that their player Trent Alexander-Arnold was into Real Madrid radar but Trent Alexander-Arnold has been refuse this rumour because he want to stayed at Liverpool much longer but he has one year contract remaining and hopefully Liverpool will give him contract extension in the near future and i was considers Trent Alexander-Arnold is important player for this team and i wish Liverpool will give long term contract to him

About Takefusa Kubo if i am not mistaken this rumour was appears since few weeks ago because at that time Liverpool was thinking to find the replacement of Mo Salah who possibly will leave Liverpool and go to Saudi Arabian but until now Liverpool didn't confirmed or even refuse this rumour

But just like i said before Liverpool is not very welcome to Japanese players because previously they have Minamino who failed to adapt and the latest is they have Wataru Endo which in my view his performance cannot be say good and i fear buy Takefusa Kubo would be failed transfer for Liverpool

So where will James Rodriguez continue his career?

As has been revealed, James Rodriguez has left Sao Paulo as a free agent and he has spent one season with the Brazilian club. His brilliant performance in the Copa America with Colombia will certainly be a good consideration. Here he has also proven his unusual achievement by collecting the award as the best player in the 2024 Copa America.

He is 33 years old and at least he is fit to give his best for the club he will play for. Reportedly he wants to return to Europe and I think it would not be in vain for any club to accept him. On the other hand, quite a lot of people are asking him to come to Leverkusen and we can imagine that if Leverkusen had James Rodriguez in their midfield, it feels like they would have a stronger squad for next season. Source: https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1815355192058995079

Bologna and Basel have to confirm the deal and it is done.  Smiley  It's a smart move by Arsenal. There are normally 3 centre-backs: Saliba, Gabriel, Timber. Gabriel is prone to making mistakes. Maybe Calafiori might even get the shirt from him in the starting eleven. But to do that he needs to work really hard. Because Gabriel has been a regular starter for a very long time. It wouldn't be an easy challenge.

What a joy for a boyhood gunner, it's a dream finally that he'll be playing for the club next season. I think, he is worth the buy and would do brilliantly great for Emirates. I hope the fans gives him a warm welcome and the necessary backing when the Premier League Competition kicks off. Gabriel? Maybe I haven't watched him closely, but he did well with Saliba last season. What a bond they had together ( Covalent Bond ) Smiley

I think they have done that already, possibly this week, everything about this player would be sealed up and permanent. It's good to see that Mikel Arteta is trying to build a stronger backline, that means they'll be better than they did last season. I'm still tipping Mikel Arteta and Arsenal to win the Premier League Competition next season, they deserve it.

But then, they're yet to bring in a better striker, I think with Nketiah making a move to Marseille soon, they'll have enough money to fund for that swedish player Victor Gyokeres who was highest goal scorer for Sporting Lisbon last season.

I can't imagine with Arsenal's defense for next season after success signing Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna with transfer fees reach up to 40 million euro plus 5 million euro add on bonuses. Actually the original position as Riccardo Calafiori on left defender and Mikel Arteta have strong right defender Ben White make it completed for Arsenal with their wing back playing well as offensive or defensive.

Special performance with Riccardo Calafiori he can plays well as left or right defender side and give many option for Mikel Arteta when any key players get injuries. Seems has possibility for Riccardo Calafiori make debut when first Arsenal pre season match against Bournemouth and looking how can adapt well with Premier League has high intention than Serie A we know less high intention on every match.
After success signing Riccardo Calafiori its over for Arsenal transfer activities or they have some target exactly rumor will sign any players on attacking line position.
Arsenal has reached an agreement with Bologna and in the near time Calafiori will soon undergo a medical test at Arsenal, the negotiations that took place between Bologna and Arsenal were very tough and the two parties almost did not find an agreement after not finding a suitable price from both teams, after reading several articles about the Calafiori transfer, I just understood why Bologna set the selling price for Calafiori too high because It turns out there is a lot of fees (40%) that they have to pay to Basel at this time, Not only that, the transfer got even more complicated when Roma also asked for a share of almost 9 million euros from Basel because Calafiori is a Roma academy player who was sold to Basel in 2022, but apart from that, of course Arsenal were very lucky to be able to get Calafiori and he will be able to form a strong and solid duo with Saliba or Timber in the next seasons, apart from being capable as a centre-back of course arteta has plenty of options to play him at left-back next season if the kiwior is sold or Zinchenko is injured or absent.

The news about De Bruyne's move to an Arab club is still confusing. Because there are many news stories that are different from each other. For example, in one of the news stories I read today which stated that De Bruyne's departure to the Arab club was a hoax. And in the news it was also said that this news was confirmed as a hoax by Fabrizio Romano who said that there was indeed no communication between the two parties regarding De Bruyne. (Sourch)

De Bruyne isn't going anywhere as it seems, at least for this season.  Smiley  Because Fabrizio Romano has tweeted on it. Guardiola has confirmed that he isn't going to the Saudi league this summer.

Quote
But regarding Manchester City's goalkeeper, Ederson, it turns out that this player is reportedly ready to go to Al-ittihad and it seems like there are discussions between the two parties regarding this issue.

https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1815375012624208062

Ederson is really about to leave for Al-Ittihad. Nothing certain yet though like it says on the tweet. The interesting thing is Manchester City doesn't think of finding a strong replacement for him.  Huh

Do they really trust Ortega? I mean I remember that great save which played a big role in their Premier League title. However we are talking about the long term. We need to be realistic. As far as I can remember, he has gained lots of weight. If he doesn't get fit he would have serious issues with saving difficult shots. I think they should sign another star goalkeeper. I'm curious whether this has anything to do with the lawsuit waiting for them.

Calafiori is a footballer who has been on the agenda lately with his long hair, headband and charisma reminiscent of Nesta, Maldini, Cannavaro. Despite his young age, he is a player with strong marking, marking, ball movement and field vision. Euro 2024 has made his star shine. Arsenal have made an efficient transfer and continue to strengthen their defense. Calafiori is a versatile player in defense and can contribute a lot to the attacking line when needed. Roma and Basel are two teams that will regret it later. My only sadness is why Calafiori chose Arsenal.

Apparently the only reason Manchester City haven't sold Ederson is just the yet to be reached agreement with Donnaruma. Ortega is also a great replacement for Ederson, but I think that Guardiola is afraid to leave him alone for the whole season, without a replacement, and with Ederson unclear situation, which could lead to the fact that Manchester City may lose the main goalkeepers, so Manchester City need one goalkeeper for sure.

They also write that the chances are extremely high that Jack Grealish will leave Manchester City soon and bookmakers give odds of 2.0 on his departure, which is quite a lot and considering the fact that Grealish lost the competition to Foden and did not get into the England national team bid for Euro 2024 looks quite logical.

Oh nice.  Smiley  I think there's some possibility that he'll end his football career with Man City or prolly play a season for a club somewhere in Belgium or something...  Just like what Vincent Kompany did before becoming Burnley manager.  Then Bayern Munich manager..?  Cheesy Cheesy  I have no idea why that one happened.  I mean, I hope it all works out for him but I wouldn't expect anything if I was a Bayern Munich supporter.  :-/

Anyway, who are the biggest transfers so far?

Smiley

James Rodriguez is an average player that tries as much as possible to see his team succeed and due to the fact he has played in European clubs like Portugal for FC Porto, France for Monaco, Spain for Real Madrid and England for Everton so it's remaining Germany even though he once played for Bayern Munich on loan, it will be a good move if he decides to join Bayern Leverkusen because since Leverkusen won the Bundesliga last season, they will still continue to perform better in the upcoming season and James Rodriguez is also a very tactical player as his skills and experience was seen in the Copa America so there's no doubt about his performance if he joins Leverkusen and that is just the perfect club for the Columbian international since he is now a free agent after his contract ended with Brazilian team Sao Paulo.

Fabrizio Romano on his page denied that City are interested in Donnaruma, and it seems to me that everything is clear here, firstly, Ederson’s negotiations with Saudi Arabia were interrupted, and secondly, I very much doubt that Enrique would have let Donnaruma go, especially on the eve of the start of the new season. PSG are determined to build a strong team that is capable of winning the Champions League, and it is clear that they will not let go of their main goalkeeper.

If that happens and Liverpool really wants Takefusa Kubo from Real Sociedad to bring him to Anfield, I will be very happy and looking forward to that happening, and the rumors I read are that Liverpool will have to spend a very high amount of money if that deal happens. Takefusa Kubo is a good player and he is still very young, with the talent he has Liverpool can maximize and use it well,

And if this really happens, Takefusa Kubo will adapt well considering that he has a compatriot at Liverpool, namely Wataru Endo, who he can take advantage of. What is clear is that this is Arne Slot's first recruitment after becoming Liverpool coach, if it is true the deal will happen and it is not just a rumor

It's good if De Bruyne ends his career at Man City and going to a small club in his country is still very possible, it's just that after his contract expires next season the offer from Arab will still be there considering his performance is still quite good, but happy he is still at Man City for one more season we will see how De Bruyne's cross is.

Big transfer? Mbappe has already finished to Real Madrid, I don't know who the most expensive transfer is whether it is more than 150 million or even 200 million there is still no news.

So now it is the best opportunity to sign Gianluigi Donnarumma because the current goalkeeper of Manchester City has more chances to move to Saudi Arabia because many clubs are interested in the Saudi Arabia leagues.
Ederson is reportedly currently being targeted by Al Ittihad and several Saudi Arabian teams at the moment so it is very likely that he will leave the Etihad Stadium in the near time, Al Nassr and Al Ittihad have made an offer to Manchester City but so far Manchester City will only sell Ederson if there is a team that dares to pay 50 million pounds sterling, Al Nassr, who just lost Ospina, has brought Bento from the Brazilian team, but it looks like they still need another goalkepeer who is more experienced and that is why Al Nassr has made an offer of 25 million pounds sterling previosly and has been rejected by Manchester City, the potential for Ederson departure is currently very large and Manchester City must immediately anticipate it if there is a team that dares to pay 50 million euros for Ederson later, it seems that Donnarumma will not be Guardiola target because as @fabrizio Romano said if there are no talks and there is no possibility of recruiting Donnarumma at this time.

Honestly, I was already warming up to the fact that Manchester City will be slightly weaker next season after hearing of his departure. Kevin Debruyne was already becoming a peripheral figure in that Manchester City team, they may actually be stronger without him provided that his replacement is fit & at least 70% as talented. He didn’t feature in quite an amount of games last season and even days he featured and wasn’t playing well city still coped.
They always have something up their sleeves. So expecting them to be weak at any time is like expecting a mountain to suddenly become a valley. I already foresaw Foden taking up the mantle from him & becoming more central to their plans. Let's see how the transfer window goes for every team.

IMO, Pep Guardiola actually has a choice of other players, for example Phil Foden who plays the role of replacing De Byurne. It is not uncommon for Foden to play impressively when De Byurne is still injured. Apart from that, Phil Foden is a player who is capable of playing wherever Pep rotates him, it's just that Kevin De Byurne's role is still very much needed even though he is no longer young. Plus, Pep has confirmed that Kevin De Bruyne will not leave the Etihad this summer, quoted by Fabrizio Ramano. Can't rule out the possibility that if De Byurne leaves, City could weaken as you say. However, the fact is that the City players were able to do their job very well when KDB was suffering from a long injury. Pep Guardiola's rotation for several of his players is working as it should. Even if one of the City players leaves, for example the player we are discussing. City will find the ideal replacement, or he will play with the available players. After all, City has very capable players in every line. I will quote another report from Fabrizio Romano, Pep said, we have the opportunity to change the squad, I do not rule out the option of choosing new players, but if someone leaves, Pep said that he still has the same squad. I tried to interpret it, if one of the City players left. Pep still has a strong squad, he can even bring in new arrivals.

It seems like it's just a rumor circulating that Kevin De Bruyne will be proposed to by a Saudi Arabian club, because Manchester City hasn't really responded to the oblique news circulating and Manchester City hasn't responded to the rumor, and looking at the remaining contract which will end in 2025 together. Kevin De Bruyne I think Kevin will stay at the Etihad Stadium, and Manchester City is optimistic that Kevin De Bruyne will still stay at Manchester City. And if Al Ittihad really wants to propose to Kevin De Bruyne, City doesn't mind, it's just that Manchester City is charging a fairly high price, and that doesn't make sense considering that Kevin De Bruyne is already 33 years old and has already entered retirement.
Actually, I still want to see Kevin De Bruyne still at the Etihad in the next season because I think he still has good performance to play with Manchester City.
Last season we didn't see Kevin De Bruyne from the start of the season because he had a long injury so I was also dissatisfied with not seeing his performance from the start, but if you look at the current situation I think Man City should consider selling this player this year because otherwise they will lose Kevin De Bruyne next season for free, I know Kevin De Bruyne is a very important player for Man City but his contract at the club only has the remaining season for next season and of course Man City doesn't want to suffer a loss but if they want to keep Kevin de Bruyne has one more season left, at least the club can extend his contract until 2026 and then next season he will be sold to a club that is interested in him.

Seeing the latest news on Twitter, Pep Guardiola stated that Kevin De Bruyne will not leave Man City this summer, so it is clear that Kevin De Bruyne's arrival in Saudi Arabia is just a rumor. But we don't know if he spend next season, it might be his last season at Man City.

Kevin has fulfilled his duty perfectly so far. However, there is a cruel concept and that is time. Now he has reached a certain age and contributes less to the team. Guardiola noticed this and approved his departure from the team. It was disappointing for me because I thought he was a symbol for the team. I would like him to retire at Manchester City. Of course, we want these things, but our wanting does not change anything. Let's see which team he will go to. I'm sure he will play his best in the team he goes to. He is a complete professional, a great player in every aspect.

Manchester City will grow far and stronger than we could ever imagine, Pep Guardiola will ensure that happens during his era as manager,  Going for the best tender players with tighten scouting sector active. How on earth will one of the strongest club in the European world of football grows to become weak simply because one of their keyman, Kelvin De Bruyne keen on leaving? Pep Guardiola is the main pillar of the club and he will not relent in his duties, always doing his best to ensure he grabbed significant opportunities and making potential signings that would enchanced the team's performance and stats.

While I admire what Romano does for the transfer window period, and how he has cultivated this iconic influence and every agent in the world keeps on telling him what they want to be known, I also think that he may not have "every" information at all times. Maybe he is wrong on this one?

I do not know but there are way too many places reporting that KDB is going to Saudi Arabia, and all-ittihad has already made a deal with City, only thing left is to convince KDB at this point according to many sources. Doesn't mean it is a done deal, it just means that City has a price for KDB and ittihad probably found how much that is and willing to pay if they want to. They could still try to convince KDB and fail, that part is still true, nobody is saying it is a done deal, it is just that city agreed, and I think that could be right.

Obviously KDB always said he is open to it as well, so that part means that if ittihad willing to pay a good amount, then they could get KDB, all depends on the money as well. I believe that this is going to take a while, I am not expecting this deal to be over right away, even if it happens it may take some time and could be this whole news cycle for weeks.

De Bruyne remains in City as it has been confirmed today. It is a big relief for City for them to keep De Bruyne back in the club because he is a key player and like the engine room to City. If his presence is not in the field, it use to be a problem for City because his role is a very important one. I could remember last season that he went on injury, the club couldn't be in their best performance and Haaland hardly score during De Bruyne absence.

Liverpool have been quiet since the start of the transfer window. I don’t really know what there are up to, but I’m sure they’ll bring in one or two players before the end of the window.
They’re rumors of Kubo to Liverpool, I don’t really know how legit the rumors are but Kubo might just be a Salah long term replacement. If Liverpool get him. It will be solid. There are also interested in Dani Olmo. They've only enquired. Nothing concrete on either. To be fair, Liverpool's squad is quite stacked. I think Klopp tried for the new manager, Slot. He gave him a healthy team. If anything, they need to sell.
Of course one or two additions is needed in every club. If they can buy just Olmo, they're ready for new season.
