Chelsea's next target: Kai Havertz (Bayer Leverkusen). https://www.theguardian.com/football/2020/jun/09/chelsea-want-kai-havertz-from-bayer-leverkusen-summer-spree-werner-chilwell-ziyechChilwell (Leicester) and Havertz would be great signings, but Chelsea really need a centre back, and Upamecano (Leipzig) is on the market. Papa Roman, do your thing ^ Doesn't Zidane at Real want Pogba too? Not anymore https://www.marca.com/en/football/real-madrid/2020/05/07/5eb4815a46163f3e1b8b45ec.htmlTL;DR: Zizou wanted him, but he's too expensive for RM + top priority for Real in the next transfer window is to sell players.

The German Sky Sports News just posted some more information on the upcoming transfer of Leroy Sané to FC Bayern München. It looks like Manchester City and FC Bayern München are still negotiating the transfer fee. A new round of negotiations between Bayern and Manchester City for Leroy Sané took place last week. City made it clear that Sané would only be sold for an adequate fee. The English club demands €70m while Bayern are offering €40m [@SkySportNewsHD] Source: https://twitter.com/iMiaSanMia/status/1270341200386633728I have said it before, City won't sell sane for the price Bayern Munich are offering, if Bayern buys Leroy at that price, city will be the team losing, letting go of one of the best wingers in Europe for a price as low as €40m is not 'good business' for City. Bayern thinks the price is good also cause of his ACL injury that kept him out for over a year, but imo it's not a reason to buy Leroy at that price. Sane is young and has recovered fully and I don't think there will be any recurrence (of the same injury). I think it's high time Paul Pogba left Manchester united he needs to go to a team where he will be much appreciated, united doesn't know his value and contributions to the team that's why they do criticize him often...
Manchester United obviously 'knew' his value when they bought him for a world record fee as of the time he signed for them IIRC, but he has not contributed to the team as much as the fans would have expected and that is why they criticize him; as you mentioned with Lukaku, Pogba could leave to another team and start playing brilliantly again, but he's currently not doing that at Old Trafford and I would not question the criticisms he's receiving.

Why a lower salary? How much Pogba takes in ManU? 15 year? In Italy, with the new tax law, Juventus will pay only 15+25% = 20m /year. It is not big if you think at Higuain and Khedira (with the old law) they cost 15m/year and 13m/year...
The salary is a smaller problem here.
you may be right, but I think the reality is different if it is not a burden to them, why did they ask from players to give up parts of earnings to help the club to pass through more easily Covid19 period. For example, Ronaldo's salary is a very serious expense for Juve. Also as far as I remember, they had to hire a third (sponsor) party to pay for Cristiano. it is well known that PL clubs much richer than the others and these cannot match them in the amount of payments. I think it's high time Paul Pogba left Manchester united he needs to go to a team where he will be much appreciated, united doesn't know his value and contributions to the team that's why they do criticize him often...

Of course, they gave him maybe too many chances, but he decided to be relaxed and play without any passion. He is completely unprofessional but because of that, no one disputes that he is a great talent and has top quality. If he leaves MU, Pogba will be biggest loser in this transaction.

Pogba is 27 years old, there is no more "developing" for him, he needs to make as much money as he can in the next 3 years because the salary he will make will go down after that and he will retire after a while, so the next 3 years is his time to make as much money as he can.
Juventus paying him a low salary is just an assumption, if Juventus really wants him maybe they will give him not bigger amount but same amount he makes now and a 3 year deal? That way he could guarantee to play at a place he likes to play, with players like Ronaldo and Dybala and others, while also making the same amount and having a consistent income as well. It is just a 3 year same amount deal from Juve that will decide all of this. Also, it is cheaper than the transfer fee anyway, Juventus was capable of paying 100 million dollars fee for Ronaldo, I am sure they can play 15 million for 3 years for Pogba as well.

No, they didn't. Every league in the world wanted to cut salaries except Premier AFAIK. Premier is doing another sport, they have so much money because they earn double or triple by TV rights. Trust me, the salary is not the problem for a #pogback. The 1st problem is to sell extra players like Higuain, Khedira, etc to save money for the next FFP. The 2nd problem is the demand for Manchester of 100m € with 6 months left, Pogba from 1st February 2021, 8 months from now can sign for free.

I think ManU have options to extend the contract for one more additional year, it is a usual clause in all his contract and they will activate it for sure. Is it true about speculation with Daglas Costa transfer to Chelsea in exchange for Jorginho? Everyone talking, there it will be no big transfers due to Covid19, but it seems Chelsea haven't such a problem. They are very active in the last few days and it seems doing a great job.

No way Man Utd are getting €100,000,000 for Pogba with such a short amount of time left on his contract. They need to take a fair price or lose him for nothing next summer. I am close to 100% certain Pogba will not be a United player next season.

Yo i'm starting to think that you work for 'transfermarkt' because you always post links from this website Pogba is 27 years old, there is no more "developing" for him, he needs to make as much money as he can in the next 3 years because the salary he will make will go down after that and he will retire after a while, so the next 3 years is his time to make as much money as he can. At 27yo, a professional football player in a top club is far from reaching his peak. There's a misconception going around (not recent tho) that once a football player turns 30 years old, he'll be shite and he'll start to forget how to play football, which is false, obviously, and I blame FIFA (yes, the videogame) for this nonsense. If you've played this game, you know what i'm talking about. This 30yo "logic" doesn't apply IRL, it's just a videogame thing.

I agree, in 2010/2011 when AC Milan won the Scudetto, the majority of the main players were 30+ years old, but they could prove that the quality of the game was not inferior to the young players. So, I think at the age of 30+, Pogba can still be a player who has good skills to compete with young players. In fact, it could be that he has a better goal-scoring instinct as he gets older, who knows . Like what was proven by Robben when at Bayern Munich, even though he was old players.

There's a rumor about Arsenal going for Thiago Silva [source]... - Personally I can't see this happening due to the following reasons:
- At the age of 35, he's on a £240,000-a-week contract (arsenal surely can't afford that for a player of his age). - William Saliba has been impressive enough to make me not want another "old/experienced" defender for a year or two.

I keep rolling my eyes about this news. Only Messi or Ronaldo would command that price, but not at their current age,,, so only Neymar is the true player worth that much but post covid? No one will spend anything. See Coutinho at Barca they paid 140M and cannot even sell at 100m so how about Pogba? A guy who has not proved himself.

It is very possible for Silva to join Arsenal. He is a close friend to David Luiz and we saw in the past Luiz joining PSG because of his friendship with Thiago Silva. Why not doing the same in Arsenal?

Never eared about him. Anyway, I think the only thing that makes Ronaldo leave if is he will win the Champions and I will happy with it. Also, Ronaldo if he leaves this year it will be not for free, Juventus must have 60-70 ish milions. I think Ronaldo will leave in 2 years and with the money saved Juventus will try to sign Mbappè IF he will not renew his contract.

I think only a few clubs may be an option Bayern - but I don't think so, he is too old for them PSG - may be, they have money. He will win another league (an important thing for Ronaldo), there also have a chance for one more CL. But the rating (size) of the club itself is smaller than his, there is a problem. ManUTD - financially it would be good for both sides, but MU it is not currently 100% competitive to win league or CL, I think he has no will to go to the club and fight for second place on the table. There is no other club in Europe who can afford it. Barca, Liverpool, ManCity, Inter ... these are the great rivals of his previous clubs, it is not realistic to expect it in any of them. Real I didn’t take it into consideration because I think that story is over. the most realistic is to go to MLS, where he can use his full marketing potential.

You have a point but there's still uncertainty about David Luiz staying for another year or not [source - It's in the middle of the article].
Ronaldo hasn't many options. I think only a few clubs may be an option
I have to disagree with you on this one. - I watched last week a video about his medical records and it seems he came back with better results prior to Coronavirus... - I believe the video mentioned having a body of a 22 yr old.
the most realistic is to go to MLS, where he can use his full marketing potential.
It's too soon for MLS [no offense to MLS fans but he can do way better than any club on that league, even at his current age].

This is my feeling too. He has a big ego and he wants to show that the won Champions League with every club he joined, and to not do so at Juventus would be (to him) a big failure. The only other reason he leaves if he drops in quality but with his current fitness and form, he has at least 2 more seasons in him.

It's too soon for MLS [no offense to MLS fans but he can do way better than any club on that league, even at his current age]. You did not understand me. In Ronaldo's case, there is no limit to his physical fitness and performance. I mean only a few clubs have money for them and the power to return big money through marketing. For example, its price is ~70 mill + 30 mill salary x2 (2 years) = ~130 mills (no matter is it a dollar, euro or pound). Just to compare, Newcastle with all players, staff, infrastructure, the stadium will be sold for 300mill (Ronaldo's two years cost half of the price). In Europe, for sure more than 50% of all professional clubs haven't 130mill, not in the dream. even if they have Ronaldo in his team, they can take 20% profit of what can Bayern, ManUTD, Real M, Juventus... Plus Ronaldo's ego will not allow him to play for a smaller club than his previous three. just imagine it in Real Sociedad or Sampdoria or... continue the string (I don't want to offend any club)

I don’t think Mbappe will go to Italy, if/when he leaves PSG his destination is England/Spain. Also I don’t think Juve should look to sell Ronaldo, they should squeeze every ounce of the world class years he has left out of him, if they can.
