You forgot to mention Barcelona high ballast named Lionel Messi. I agree that he is very important probably key player for all of his success, but they are too dependent on him. Yet I can't believe some great players failed to integrate into the team. I don't know is it true, but constantly appearing speculation, if Messi does not like someone, he can easy to leave Barca, his tour is over there.
everyone acts like he’s bigger than the club, and that was never a good ending for the club.

I know is a very slim chance but again if the auction for his salary starts in the same year when Ronaldo leaves Juventus will have 80milion/year free on their cashier.
In a hypothetical world they can spend this budged all for Mbappè so hypothetically they can spend up to 60m salary to him and 20 for taxes.
Now, to equalize this offer other teams outside Italy need to spend 120m/year.

Although Monaco beat Belgian Cercle Brugge 2-0 in a friendly match on Friday and the Ligue 1 season is currently suspended due to coronavirus outbreak, the club's management decided to thank Spanish expert Moreno.

This is what I found on this topic:
Premier League 45% taxes on players salaries (FA are currently in negotiations with the government to reduce to 30% due to pandemic crisis)
LA Liga 52% taxes on salaries
Bundes League 47.475% taxes on players salaries

I know, there is still big money when we talking about 40mill salaries, but there is much less difference than you claim. In any case, I support this measure from the Italian government to reduce the tax rate and help Italian football to be competitive again.

I certainly don’t think that’s crucial when we talking about top-class players. 80% of top players play in these three leagues, and they don't want to leave because of high taxes. If that it is crucial, probably Russian league will be more attractive with "only" 13% on football players salaries.

My response regarding the transfer of rumors is as follows
- Not sure Kluivert can make Barcelona a strong team, Kluivert's experience as a coach is still not enough to become a new coach Barcelona.
- I don't really know Diego Rosa, but if Manchester City are interested it means Diego Rosa is a potential player.
- I think the price of Jadon Sancho is too overrated, and should stay in Dortmund first in next season. So that his playing ability increases.
- Zenit is perfect for getting Lovren, hopefully this transfer will be realized.

My response regarding the transfer of rumors is as follows

It seems to me that Barcelona has wandered too much in recent years in its transfer policy and that both the team and the results are suffering because of it.
Lovren is no longer part of the Liverpool first team and for his career it will be good to go to a club where he will be the first option and where he will play.

Lovren is getting old and he isn't the first choice in Klopp's mind anymore. Maybe that pushed Zenit to push a bid that low thinking that Liverpool might accept that and IMO it can happen as well. He only was the trainer of the Cameron national football team so far , for sure he was a great player but dont know if that would be going good with Barca.

In my own point of view, Setien was not totally giving another chance but his subject is seems to be on hold till Barcelona find the perfect manager and I saw alot of people saying theres chance for Kluivert to be the next manager which is still not certain.
Nevertheless, manager changing players is not Setien problem and from my own view his problem is not knowing how to manage his team to generate a better result.

I guess they were doing pretty well up until the break but after the break they became a whole another level of team. If they are going to give anyone the keys, I feel like it should be Xavi by a big margin. You could give him some youth experience while getting anyone you want but after some experience with the youth team and all that and get his proper licenses, Xavi would be to Barcelona what Zidane is to Madrid if you ask me. As I said in other post,  I think that players in Barcelona needs coach with authority and I'm not sure that Kluivert is the right choice for them.
In my opinion Xavi is much better choice for coach.
He is someone others can respect and follow.

There's been more and more talk of him extending with City. He probably waited to see if they will get banned from Europe but now, with CL football and talk of 150 mil available for strengthening, I really don't see him leaving.
Barcelona is in a really bad shape and Messi's getting older, City squad is superior in both quality and depth and it's a team he assebled based on his playstyle. I think he'll sign an extension and remain in England.

Beside of all the rumores of all the transfers there are so many players i have seen on the market without any Clubs,
and who the contracts has ended , so i guess we will see of the end of the transfer period some movment there as the most times .
