Honestly there will never be "equally" between teams as long as there is no cap, teams who spend a lot, usually end up being more successful which means they get paid more, and more viewership, more cups, more fans, more merchandise etc etc. When they get all that money then they spend it on even better players and keep this growing. Financial fair play is good to a point but a team at 10th of premier league could rarely ever have a chance to win in a decade of hard work because it is just not profitable for them to risk it, meanwhile City makes so much money that they can throw 200 million on Kane if they want to and nothing will happen to them, 200 million is more than 99.999999% of clubs worth in the world, only very minority amount of teams have a total worth over that.

The last I heard is that Tottenham board feels it's too late to find a good replacement now and that City is too late even if they put that big offer that Tottenham wanted on the table. Still, Levy's one of the best negotiators around so it wouldn't surprise me if he's just pushing for the deal to happen sooner with these kind of statements.

Anyway, the reason why Kane wasn't in the team isn't transfer related. He joined the club late so he still has some basic training to catch up to before actually playing.

I'd say it's 50-50 that he won't be playing for Spurs again.

It's probably not a "professional problem." It's a club's problem and nothing else. Kane openly ignores training(Although it is possible that he is in talks with other clubs at this time) and misses matches. And it's unlikely that coach didn't release him on the field, it's Kane initiative. The club is just killing virtually his football career without letting him go somewhere else. However, the player's actions were not so clear when he signed a contract for 6(!!!) Years.

Seriously, did you watch the match though? If we are using your logic then its all the more reason on why Tottenham should sell Kane because they won even without Kane on the field. Levy can force Kane to stay but if he is not happy with this then it might affect his performance. That also means his price tag could be lower next season if his performance is not as good as last season

I'd say it's a good thing for both Roma and Tammy Abraham if the deal does push through. For Tammy, He would get to see first team football action compared to the limited time he gets to play at Chelsea. He played from the bench for majority of last season and the arrival of Lukaku made it worse. So it's a good deal altogether for him. For Roma, Tammy is a goid fit for their team and he'll bring his English football experience along - young and vibrant. Just what they need to offset Dzeko's move to Inter. It is very significant that Kane did not play in the match between Tottenham and Manchester City, so I think that there are still some prospects for this transfer. There is information that Tottenham believes that Manchester City started acting too late and Tottenham does not have time to make a replacement for their main striker, which sounds quite cynical, given the interest shown by City before. Even if Harry Kane stays in Tottenham against his will, it won't affect on his performanc. Because, he is a professional athlete. He can never intentionally play bad. And if he plays badly, no big club will be interested in taking him next season. So he will try his best to play well. We can see some great goals from Kane this season too.
