I'm really surprised by the size of the amount claimed. If it's true Real Madrid will never want, neither being able, to pay such a large amount while Mbappe doesn't want to stay at PSG. Then at the end, PSG will keep a frustrated player and won't get a single penny when he will leave next year.

The mentality of Mbappe is from a rare as they offered him an annual salary of 40 million euros
- They gave him six offers to renew that he could never refuse - Playing near Leo Messi, Ramos, Hakimi and Donnarumma with his best friend Neymar
- They gave him a squad that you will only see in the Ultimate Team

Well Real Madrid probably could even afford him , thats almost triple amount of what they made this summer from selling their players. According to Transfermarkt, Real Madrid made around €78m this summer, mostly from selling Varane and Ødegaard. Anyway this is Real Madrid that we are talking about and if they want a player, most of the time they never back off

Real Madrid can afford him even at €225m because they have been selling and haven't spent much in a few transfer seasons and windows for a while, so I am pretty sure they have the financial back up right now, but spending that amount on Mbappe would be ridiculous. It would also put the player under lots of pressure as the most expensive player.

The only guy who withstood that pressure was CR7. If I were Real Madrid, I would just wait for 12 more months to get Mbappe.

such a high price, but we know the character of Madrid if they want a player, they will keep trying to get him. I see towards the close of this

Of course, Mbappe won't go anywhere now, he will stay in PSG this season. I think it is clear that PSG won't accept the offers from any clubs. Whatever the amount of money offered to them, it will be rejected since PSG doesn't need it. I assume PSG wants to focus on reaching UCL trophy this season. With Messi-Neymar-Mbappe on the attacking line, it is very possible to make it come true.

That most expensive amount, but that was still too low from Neymar transfer, Barcelona to PSG (€222m-2017), I guess PSG wants to back his money from 3 years back. This is the football Industry, PSG has inside of them. when Madrid has seen Mbappe opportunity, they were not a problem, same as they were bought Ronaldo from MU (€94M) then sold it to Juventus (€100M), Madrid profit €6M and 16 trophies in between (2 for League and 4 to Champions League). but for Mbappe, I think he was not better than CR7, that price is very expensive, skills and prestige are also below from Ronaldo, I'm not sure he'll bring Madrid either the same as Ronaldo did. This is interesting, Ronaldo very often said that he would never join Man City. I read this statement over and over, as in:
1. Article 2009 - Guardian
2. Article 2013 - Goal
and a few other articles, but I think that's enough. From that statement, of course Ronaldo remembers that he will not go to City. The last one I remember, he said he still loves Manchester United and will not join City.
