Priotizing building their defense now is a solid move. I may not have doubt about Lisandro Martinez abilities at the centre of defense, but adapting to the premier league would be a tougher task compared to anything he's witnessed in the eredivisie, where Ajax are always the favorites in up to 96% of their fixtures, if not all. At Man Utd they'll be the underdog in a lot of matches and the matches in which they're the favorites wouldn't come any easier as well.

Sterling would make terrible player if he's played at the CF position, he often needs space to be more functional and with his height, it would be a terrible decision to play him there.

Chelsea is focusing on their defence and will likely spend more than €100m for that without including Sterling expenses. There is rumours about Koulibaly, Koundé, Aké and Kimpembe. Such spending should improve a lot the team so they can compete with City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs next season since all these teams are working hard to build a solid squad!

Nobody gets 100+ million a year, that would be a world record, historical. I am not even sure if it's real, I have a sense that it could be a fake just to get on the news as well.

If we both conceder how players football carrier die off once the stop playing football in Europe, we will all now that Ronaldo can not any offer from Saudi Arabian or China, even though we know very well that they pay their players huge sum of money.
