Now that is quite interesting news. Since Tuchel got sacked at Chelsea and Southgate is now doing such a bad job with the national team, fans on Twitter are asking for Tuchel to become England's national coach!

I think that is quite a funny turn of events. If that was really going to happen, how amazingly funny would that be from the perspective of Chelsea?

Now England really has to make a tough decision given the recent results. If they fail big time in Qatar everybody could argue they saw it coming but there was no reaction. But on the other side of things there aren't many more games to play, so if they decide to keep Southgate there is definitely not going to be any changes until the World Cup.

I do think though that Tuchel enjoys how English fans ask for him to become the coach.

Changing the coach just couple of weeks before the starting of the World Cup is the worst idea anyone could suggest imo. Even if the results were bad, such move should take place before months when the English team wasn't doing good. By that time, the players will get used to the coach and his tactics while playing games but trying his tactics for the first time in the World Cup could end with a disaster tho..

I do agree with what you are saying but it is also a bit like throwing good money after bad money.

What speaks in favor of Southgate is the fact that he has been with the players for quite some time now and the results weren't really all that bad finishing 4th at the last WC and 2nd at the last EC. But if something really doesn't work out anymore, would you leave it untouched? I guess this is not the case already for England and it's not like any hope is lost, but making hard decisions and changes should always be part of the repertoire of those in charge.

Southgate is safe for now and will be for the WC as he has been a coach for English national teams since 2013. He isn't going to be fired just now.

Signing a new coach isn't as easy as you think, there should be a strong reason to do that. I'm sure Juventus has contacted all the potential coaches to replace Allegri, but they may have a little obstacle. It can be about the personal agreement, may be related to salary or other things. So, just be patient to wait for good news from Juventus management.

It will be a plus if Tuchel returns to the Bundesliga to manage Bayern, he is already familiar with the local league and for competitions outside the Bundesliga, his experience at PSG and Chelsea will be a consideration to see the quality of coach Thomas Tuchel in managing the club.
