I have little idea how Barcelona will pay the players they already have in their squad, given the fact that Barcelona is almost guaranteed to leave the Champions League after the group stage. As for the new "free" players, this is naivete - firstly, cool players want a signing bonus, so they are not free at all, and secondly, who wants to go to Barcelona where salaries are always being cut and the club is in crisis in general?

Barcelona has sold to much shares for tv broadcast it will be getting less income than before. that means if barcelona will not able to use so much money again to buy player with crazy price like the last transfer season. This club is still in the crisis. The debt has not yet paid and it's still owe salary from some of its players. barcelona has no choice other than using the free transfer as a way to get a new player. Selling more shares means barcelona will not be owned by its supporters again.
It's better barcelona to be sold for billionaires that have bunch of money.

Firstly, I don’t understand why they need a new transfer in general. It seems that this season they will achieve the same that they achieved last season, but in doing so they spent space money. It's time to stop and work with what we have.
Secondly, I already wrote that there are no and will not be "free" players on the market. Mbappe was a free player when he signed with PSG. But at the same time, PSG were forced to give him a gigantic signing bonus that was no different from the transfer fee to the club.

I don't think so honestly. I don't know what is so special about him I mean to be able to play for Real Madrid. Or maybe they are thinking of using him as a backup player for now. Newcastle don't need any money as they might be the richest club in the world now.    They'd just like to keep their new transfers in the club as much as possible to continue renovating the club. If they are able to find a better alternative to him then there is no problem but otherwise it'd be bad news for them. I don't think that he'd choose to stay while there is an offer from a club like Real Madrid.

Phil Foden is an absolutely unbelievable footballer, and tbh Manchester City are really lucky to have him and for him to extend his contract with them, for quite some years now City has become a club that big players find so easy to go to, and also to stay there for many years, extending their contracts when necessary, i can't remember the last time a player tried to force a move out of the club, except those that felt they were not having enough football time (like Sterling, Gabriel Jesus, etc).

Having said that, congratulations to Phil Foden, i am pretty sure it was somewhat easy for him to decide on this, City are a winning machine, and they are definitely certain to win trophies every season, he gets to work under the best manager in the world that constantly sees to his development, and he is also paid very well, so what more can he ask for.

All the saga surrounding the Frenchman in the club backing up his desire to leave the club have been the major trend of PSG recently. Kylian Mbappe have a bright future ahead of him in his football career with coming fully into limelight. Additionally, I know that Mbappe is a player who has the potential to be one of the best players in the world in the near future. Even though I still believe that he has potential, I do think PSG did a little bit too much in order to keep the player in the squad. That's what really wrecked him in my opinion. The question I have is how he is going to play in a different team when he has already built up a great deal of momentum. There is no doubt that he considers himself to be above the players in his team. If he moves to another team, I wonder if that will change. The way Guimares is playing for Newcastle, he has grabbed lot of eyes. Therefore there are reports of Newcastle working on offering a contract extension soon with better pay to avoid any kind of offers from other clubs. I think it's a good thing to have many talented and experienced players in the team, it is better to have surplus than being short of good players in vital positions. The many midfield options will give them leverage in cases of injuries and first team players facing bans or suspension. Some of this players are already close to leaving the team so it is only reasonable to sign new midfielders to replace them when they leave.

At the moment there is still nothing new but there are some reports saying that Tottenham have now drafted and prepared a new contract for Conte and there are other news that I read which say actually Tottenham have the option to automatically extend Conte's contract for one year and now there is some rumors about a contract extension it is clear this is likely to be a long term contract.

Perhaps they could be having plans to offload one of the 2 (Ceballos or Vasquez). I understand why they are investing a lot in bringing in quality midfielders. Replacing Casemiro may have worked, but replacing Modric and Kroos is going to be one big, hell of a task.
Kroos may seem to have aged, but the way he controls the temple of the game and those inch perfect crosses from him that turn into goals in the dying minutes of the game are some qualities you don't get from an average midfielder. As for Modric, I can't even imagine the day he decides to retire.

Barca is still in a tremendous financial crisis. this season they spent quite a lot of money to bring in new players. there's nothing wrong if they save for the transfer market mid-season.
Barca will get some players, even if they are players on a free transfer. if it were needed in Xavi's plans, it would be more profitable than wasting money on a player who would not suit Barca's current game.

By selling some of his players and some broadcasting rights owned by Barcelona should have earned a lot of money and should now be recovering his financial condition even though it is still a process and needs a lot of time to enjoy a stable financial condition, Xavi must find a smart person to manage finance in Barcelona.

Barcelona have had a rough and difficult transfer window in the summer due to financial restrictions leading to debt owing to players and staff. It's relieving to know that most of these debts have been cleared and new incomings registered. I think salaries could be handled over course of a long period, eventually they run out, contracts run out, and if you just sign new players meanwhile that do not have too big salaries, that means when the big salary players contracts run out, either they will sign a cheaper contract, or they will leave, and at that point you would have players with decent salaries instead of too large ones.

This is going to hurt them financially for a while, but only a few more years, maybe 1 more or 2 more years at most, and it will be over. They just have to fight hard and win some titles meanwhile to make up for the lost money because of these salaries, if they do, they will be fine.
