Real Madrid is a better side than Tottenham Hotspur in all ramifications. Although Antonio Conte is revolutionizing Tottenham, Real Madrid is a bigger club and I think Son Heung-min would be a perfect replacement for Karim Benzema because he is still strong and has a lot of experience. And he has some outstanding qualities such as selflessness and humility. But I am not sure his club would be willing to release him because he has been instrumental to Tottenham's success this season. The transfer would be successful if Son Heung-min has the intention or ambition of joining Madrid.

Season after Season, Since the Management era's of Pochetino at Tottenham Hotspur, they have been big decision maker's for the club bearing the responsibilities and weight of the club. I double doubt if he'll be a good replacement for Karim Benzema, No! He is best used on the left wing so he can utilize those cut shoot chances and also beating defending player's with his pace.
He'll be a good replacement for Eden Hazard, how much has Eden offered to Real Madrid  ? He's been such a boring player who just went real quick behind. Imagine season after season, both Harry Kane and Son scoring goals, if that was a big club they would have been big title chasers.

IMO this season is the worst season for Son, he's very good on Tottenham since 2017/2018 season and the peak was last year where he's become the top scorer, usually it's always a Harry Kane. I also read about the rumors that Real Madrid is interested in signing Son for the next season but to be honest i doubt that this is true. Son is definitely a great player and he showed for the last few years now that he can compete on the highest level but usually Real Madrid is looking for the biggest superstars. There have been many rumors in the last few weeks that Real is already working on a deal to get Haaland in two year or so, when Benzemas contract is running out, because apparently Haaland has a clause in his contract that could make this signing possible. So with a possible Haaland transfer on the horizon i doubt that Son wants to join Real, if he only is the number one striker again after 1 season.

Hazard isn't having a good career at Madrid is because he doesn't fit the Madrid style of play and also because of his injury crisis. All the tackles he suffered while he was at Chelsea is now coming back to hurt him. Then it seem he was indestructible but little did we know he wasn't. Also Hazard was the go to man at Chelsea but at Madrid, he's just like everyone else and nobody cares. Son on the only hand will fir into the Madrid system since he's fast both on and off the ball.

@Pandu I feel that Son will slot in well because of his vast experience, and look at Modric he’s done so well for himself hence there’s no doubt in my mind that he’ll settle in well at Madrid. It's simple because Ronaldo is still contracted to the club and can only leave freely when the contract expires or it is terminated by the club or its release clause is been payed by any interested club. Although I doubt if Ronaldo has any release clause in his contract if not then he has to just hope a club submits a bid good enough to push united to sell.

I think Son might get a place in the team considering his pattern of play. If we notice Madrid hardly uses the right flank, Valverde is used there more often to create space for Kroos and Modric in the midfield. So since Kroos is yet to sign a contract extension I think ones his contract expires Valverde will be dropped back into the midfield leaving the right flank empty. It's also clear that Ancelloti doesn't trust Asensio much in that position so Son could actually get a notch there. Also Son can also the false 9 role perfectly. Having done that with Tottenham I think Ancelloti would love to try it out in games he that Benzema needs rest. Son is 28 but he is still ageing like a fine wine
