There are quite a lot of senior players in City that will come ahead of Erling Haaland in the pecking order for who should be captain, i don't even get it why this is up for any discussion, there is no statement from City as to a change in captain now or in the future, neither do thay have to do that to make Erling Haaland stay at the Etihad.

Talking about the captain at Man City certainly won't be that easy. Haaland's characteristic is not the leader type, but he is only suitable as an execution machine and his most effective role is just finishing the ball into the penalty box into a goal. As a coach, Conte has clearly given his best for Spurs. However, as we know after the match ended against Southampton, Conte finally started to criticize the owner and management of the club for the last 10 years for not being able to do anything to win 1 title in any competition. Therefore I am not surprised when there is news that Conte will be sacked and it seems that Conte is very fed up with the performance of everyone in the current team environment. I think even though there is a new coach who will replace Conte, but if there are no significant changes within the club, it will definitely be the same even if Spurs can bring in a new coach. As for the current candidate I don't have any idea of a popular coach to take over Spurs.

I also can't stop thinking about what Ancelotti wants from a player who is no longer productive in all respects. Look at Lukaku, who this season alone has not earned any trust at Chelsea and has mostly sat on the bench. Lukaku is not the right choice to continue with Real Madrid, which requires young players who are talented and have the enthusiasm to play optimally. If that really happened, the decision that Ancelotti took would not change anything for Real Madrid.

In this case, I quite agree that Benzema is getting older, but as we have agreed, in fact, in Lukaku's opinion, he is not the right alternative because, seeing from his current condition, there are still many other players who can be used as options apart from Lukaku. I just saw the news about this and it's hard to believe when they brought an alternative and that was Lukaku.
In terms of age and performance he was good but that was a few years ago and now is not his era.
With the financial condition that Madrid have now, they can still bring in a better alternative I think.

I honestly do not think this is going to happen. The only reason it might happen is if Real Madrid gets a very good deal. Or the coach is still ambitious about Lukaku?

I'm pretty sure Real Madrid would want a player younger than Lukaku, he will be 30 in May, so we could say that he's getting a little old, he is a good option to have more time signing another young striker that can play for years to come for Real Madrid without his performance dropping due to his age, Harry Kane is about the same age and he's a better option than Lukaku, Haller is also a good option.
