I'm quite sad after hearing this news, considering I was very entertained when Mesut Ozil played the ball on the pitch and I think he played very beautiful football. But maybe this is a difficult decision, he has to retire from the sport he loves so far. surprised to hear this news but yes he played at the end of his career because he was often injured. however he is a legend in football he has millions of fans who follow him on social media especially from his character which is quite impressive when on the field. Indeed, some players choose to retire early and others are still struggling to continue playing until the age of 41, like Ibrahimovic. From a physical point of view, it is likely that players who have reached 35 years and over will not be too strong anymore but that is not a strong reason for them to retire early because they can look for an easier league for their final days in the world of football.
