Joao Felix already settled down quickly into the Chelsea squad, if not for the red card which I feel had a drop of his good start, he's really been a player of great impact to the Chelsea attacking line of players. All he needs is the right coach, just the way Erik Ten Hag has helped unlocked the potentials in Marcus Rashford. I really do hoped for a brave player like Felix, but it's all cleared we ain't getting him.
I don't think they have that funds for him to return back to Chelsea, he'll probably move back to Athletico Madrid.

Joao Felix did play well, but the overall performance from Chelsea was not well covered. But overall since he's been loaned from Atletico he's been able to play well, yes, even though he's not fully maximized. But if he can stay longer with a good coach then I believe he will find his best form and make a big contribution to the team that has him.

Yesterday Julian Brandt signed an additional 2-year contract extension which makes the duration of his current contract with Dortmund until 2026. This is very good news for Dortmund fans, especially Julian Brandt this season has played an important role in contributing goals and assists for Dortmund. I don't think Joao Felix is overrated as you think because of the huge amount placed on his name and for the records Felix has contributed positively to the ATM team even to his Country Portugal so I don't think he is a bad player because he became a Chelsea player when the team is in it worst state (Poor form). The moment the Chelsea team begins to Play a good football I believe his impact will be seen in the team right now Felix alone can not bring a total change to the poor performance of Chelsea.

I would guess that even though he is not a bad player, he hasn't contributed as much as his value or as much as we know he possibly could. We all know that he is a good player and that means that he should be playing at a great level and should be providing a lot more for the club as well. As we can see he hasn't so far which makes it harder for the club to go on, they need him to score a lot more, pass a lot better and more importantly than anything else they need him to run a lot more.

If you check Chelsea players and how much they run per game, you will see the problem they had this year, they always give up and they need to work harder. Same goes for Liverpool as well, the way they just give up after losing the ball is a disgrace.

Mount is a productive player in Chelsea.  He was of beneficial importance under Tuchel's management, I quest his decline in performance started when Potter took over the club, Potter's habit of placing players wrongly contributed to the poor performance of many players in Chelsea,  not only mason mount. Even at Mount's current condition,  I prefer him to Havert if It were to be an option.

I don’t think they had any particular sense of direction or understanding of what they were doing when they were signing players. Either it is what @JeromeTash said, or they just brought in the players, so that they can increase the quality of the team which did not happen. In the end, the players ended up not playing/contributing enough to the team.

Of course, that is a failure from Chelsea management. If you don’t even know why you are bringing in a certain player, how is the player going to find his purpose in the team?

It's not about "300k was not big for the club", it's caused by the management shall adjust the new contract based on how good or bad the performance of the player. Liverpool, if it has no chance anymore to get jude bellingham from dortmund and liverpool, changes its target to the mason mount. It's not clear whether mount already extending his contract with chelsea or not but some news said that liverpool was even closer to mason mount.

Mount doesn't wanna a longterm contract with chelsea. that's why he has rejected the latest offer from the club. The future of mason mount is still uncertain at this moment.

There are so many speculations related to his future but mount itself has not yet determined what's gonna be his choice. Chelsea faces a horrible situation right now. I think that mount may be leaving from the club in summer.
