So far, I do not quite understand this decision by Real Madrid. if it was possible to split the players into parts, then I would think that this is a 60% replacement for Modric and 40% for Benzema  But since this cannot be done, it may turn out that it will be neither one nor the other, and there will be no result either. If Real Madrid actually wants to sign Firmino, it is a tactical move to have a strong backup for Big Benz as you guys have already said. No young and hot striker would like to go play for Madrid when Benzema is still active in the club. Honestly they cannot contest with Benzema.

Yes! Chelsea has done a good deal with Napoli before this season, I still think much can still be agreed with Napoli still with Victor Oshime, he is the right player for the club and also a new coach to lead the lads.

I doubt that Real Madrid is really considering to sign Firmino as their replacement for Karim Benzema when he leaves the club after the next season. Don't get me wrong Roberto Firmino is a great player that showed great performances in every club that he has played for so far, but i don't really think that he is really an absolute world class striker. He also is already 31 years old, so he is definitely no young player anymore. If Real is considering to sign him, then i only think as a back-up for Benzema for the coming season and then for the striker that comes to replace Benzema, but not as the number 1 attacker.

Yeah that seems to be the plan for Madrid. I am actually curious and also excited to see what striker they are gonna get next. There are lot of strikers now with immense potential and with Mbappe's contract till 2025 maybe possible they are looking for someone else?. Remember there is hot talent like Osmihen also there. I don't think they can do this transfer so easily. Victor Osimhen will be one of the most popular football players of the transfer period. Harry Kane's love for Tottenham is what I can't fathom. He has been rendered useless even with the high level of performances he offers to the team. Kane will be a more successful player if he makes move but is yet to know what is holding him back. Bmbut speaking of Osimhen and the Chelsea deal, I'm not sure Osimhen will accept such seeing chelsea in this current position. Chelsea for now is Club that is out in all Europa competitions not only this season but also next season. Osimhen will be so shallow to accept such a deal no matter the pay.

After Frank Lampard recent praise about Mason Mount, I doubt Chelsea will let him go. The Coach's praise is a strong indication that he will be one of Lampard's main priorities when building a new Chelsea team for next season. Liverpool will find it difficult to convince him to join them right now.
