One of the legends at Madrid and I am not surprised that he has extended his contract for one more year. He can help the young players in Madrid to adjust and also young players can learn a lot from him. Modric and Kroos has been core at Madrid's midfield and now as both of them are getting old its time to give the young players what they had and make them adjust swiftly. I don't know for sure why Chelsea are performing badly at the moment, but it could be because the owner interferes too much with the club where there should be no interference from other parties including the owner in some matters. Barcelona is broke and they should be accepting any big money offer that comes for their players so they can have some income coming into the club. I was even surprise how they were able to compete with Chelsea this season during the summer transfer window to get players Chelsea were interested in and also buying some of our deadwood like Alonso etc to their club. Todd Boehly has proven to be a big money spender which is unlikely for an American owner as I haven't witness any of of them spending that much for a club they just bought. It will be good if Osimehn's price increases when numerous clubs make offers for him. 80 million is a small sum to pay to be on him given his status and current form. Any club that eventually signs him won't consider the money they spent on him, but rather the value and progress he would have brought to the team by that point.
