It is true that Aston villa has achieved a great feat with unai emery by getting champions league football, but for me this is not enough reason to grant him a 5 year contract. Not to disregard the coach technical prowess, just what I do feel. The contract seem like a rush

To be fair, Unai Emery has been showing how great he is in many clubs before as well. He was great at Villareal too, that team isn't a team that anyone trusted to do well at all and he took that team and made it quite successful, better than what was expected of him.

I think it is quite clear that he is a great manager and not sure if his style would work with bigger clubs but he has done quite alright with bigger clubs too, Arsenal and PSG is in his CV and it wasn't that bad, he is even better since those days of course. I think he may have signed a deal, but I do not think that he is going to stay for the whole five years, if he keeps doing this great, some big team would be willing to pay the fee and just get him eventually.

The agreement includes a contract for 5 years or more precisely until 2029 as well as an extension option until 2030. Yes, many teams are feeling that these coaches will do the same as Arteta of Arsenal since they both have similar training as him. Vincent Kompany played under Pep, whale Enzo Maresca was his assistant at Manchester City before Joining Leicester City.

But Kompany did not work with Guardiola as an assistant coach or any coaching staff position. He was a former player but he is not doing good as a manager therefore Bayern Munich are not thinking correctly before hiring him. He might do well at the club but it would not be because of his coaching abilities but because of the players that Bayern Munich has and the mindset of the players at the club. Bayern Munich is a big club and Kompany should not be having such privilege to manage them when he does not have a good record but Pep guardiola influence would had helped in securing that job. Guardiola is a very talented coach and any one thag trained under him will surely have gained a lot of knowledge from him, Arteta, Maresca, kompany are one of the managers that have worked with him and they must have learned some BBB few things while working under him so i am not surprised when they start exhibiting some talent.
