Fábio Carvalho's permanent departure from Liverpool which was confirmed earlier today was shocking to me because I thought the club's new manager was going to work with the young lad and probably help him grow in confidence. For Liverpool to allow him leave on permanent basis, I have no doubt that the club manager Arne Slot have signalled to the club manager that Fábio Carvalho isn't in his plan for next season and beyond.
Carvalho has shown enough potentials that suggests he'll succeed in any club he finds himself so for signing for Brentford might be the best way of announcing himself to the world. This made us think Rodrygo is interested in playing for Manchester City soon. It seems there has been an agreement between Man United and Bayern Munich regarding the transfer of Noussair Mazraoui. So it's just a matter of time until Man United makes an official statement regarding the signing of De Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui. Meanwhile, for Jarrad Branthwaite, I doubt that Man United will still be chasing him after they got De Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui. I think what Man United will now focus on is getting a new defensive midfielder. Manuel Ugarte might be the main target but, Man United also has other options, that is Sander Berge from Burnley.

Not too sure about the De Ligt signing. He was a real prospect when he was at Ajax, he seems to have stagnated at Bayern. Not a great signing imo but at least Man Utd are making an effort to improve unlike Liverpool who have done nothing this summer.

Fábio Carvalho is one of the young players who has potential at first because indeed seeing his performance in the midfield he actually has a performance above average compared to other players at his age, it's just that the intense competition in Liverpool's midfield especially with the presence of several other players who were brought in made him left out because he could not compete and get more time for playing hours.

If it was the infinite money cheat only, then something's utterly wrong with Chelsea. Correct me if I am wrong, but there is a number of teams in the Premier League that has spent far more than Manchester City in the last five years or so. But I am not sure though and sources differ, I am only certain that if the money hack were to be true automatically, Chelsea should be in front of Manchester City almost every single season for several years now. Manchester United also had record spending in one of the last few seasons.

I feel a bit conflicted about this. Carvalho is a talented young player and I had hoped he would break into the team this season.

Maybe the money is required to help bring in a real star though and Slot has been told by the board that selling a few players will bring in the money to help sign top players. We will soon find out, the transfer window closes soon.
