If you look at football now, sometimes it is confusing because the price for a player can change so quickly and maybe if you look at the quality and experience, the price could be said to be too high or too low. But the price of £50 million is not too high and in my opinion it is quite commensurate with the quality even though if you look at the quality of scoring goals, it is still less than other strikers.

Sometimes coaches also have an impact on players and it depends on how they can utilize the players' skills. Solanke needs to prove his best quality because perhaps his performance was not so consistent last season so this season will be a good start for him to develop further.

As expected, I know that Tottenham will be the best to Dominic Solanke because the player will be well valued there and will surely get enough playing time than if he joins Arsenal because Arsenal will play Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz ahead of him; while he will have time to play in Tottenham because since Harry Kane left, they are struggling for a reliable top 9 to replace Kane because Richarlson is not playing well as expected since he is not competitive enough to score above 15 goals a season in the Premier League.

While I agree that he is a decent player, I am not entirely sure that I believe he is THAT good, like not 65 million worth player, we are talking about a huge huge price there and the fact that they are willing to spend this much on the player shows that they are not just buying him for what he is today, but they are buying him for what he could be, he is not that old and if he shows himself to be a great player, then the price will be worth it.

However, for that kind of money, he needs to provide something huge for the team and do a lot better, like actually be invaluable to the club and do something huge, they can't just end up being "decent" level player, he needs to be a star in that club if he actually deserves that kind of amount.

The latest report that I have heard about Mikel Merino is that Arsenal have already agreed a fee of £17million with his club Real Sociedad, and that it just remains the final details to be agreed on, but he is expected in Arsenal for medicals shortly.

In this season transfer market, Spurs are not very active in hunting players, but once they are active they make reckless purchases by spending more than 50 million just to bring in Solanke. I don't care if his statistics are good because he collected 19 goals with Bournemouth. Spurs are one of the clubs that are monotonous and stingy about transfer fees, maybe this time they are a little jealous seeing other clubs active in the market and trying to add new strength. Yeah, I just saw a report that Arsenal have reached an agreement of under 20m pounds for Merino. If true, then that's a fantastic deal. This deal is just like Trossard and Jorginhno’s moves to Arsenal. Small money, big impact. It could mean that Arsenal are trying to free up enough cash to go big for an attacker or a winger. 

I believe he will be like a Trossard signing. I don't know if I can classify him as a level-raiser but he has been more than invaluable to their cause. I feel (or hope) that's what Merino will bring to this Arsenal team.

Arteta has been trying Kai in the midfield since he joined the preseason. He’s a mainstay in Arteta’s team. I don’t think anyone can drop him anytime soon. Merino will have to work more to convince the manager that he’s ready for Premier League football.

Despite the high price and perhaps being considered a bold purchase from Tottenham, I think Tottenham were lucky enough to get Solangke, last season he impressed with Bournemouth by scoring 19 goals in the full season and we know that he is a pure striker who will really depend on support from other players in scoring goals so far, but at Bournemouth he didn't get good support (lots of assists) so 19 goals in my opinion is a pretty good achievement for him, so far after losing Kane, Tottenham has always depended on the sharpness possessed by Son who actually not a pure striker when tottenham still has kane, as a player who will replace kane and will likely get support or assists from son, johnson and also maddison of course that will make him very dangerous next season in tottenham front line, in my opinion the decision to recruit Solangke is the right decision for Tottenham at this time even though they have to spend a lot of money because after all Solangke is a striker who has a very high goal scoring instinct.

Officially Noussair Mazraoui was recruited by Manchester United in two packages at once with de ligt, this is the right step for Manchester United, de Ligt and Mazraoui are reliable defenders who will help the Red Devils in the Premier League or other competitions, but unfortunately both of them have not been able to play in the UEFA Champions League this season considering that MU did not qualify.

I am not too familiar with the said player, but have watched him play for the team several time and always at his best for Bournemouth but if a team can pay such an amount of money for a player seen by many as an average player and not worth such price, then they should be expecting something big from that player that we cannot see. They’ve just completed signing the player for a reached deal of £65m which amount to about $83m dollar. He has signed a six year deal with Tottenham Hotspur which is a long term deal and within this period he’ll be expected to do the best for the team. Let’s see what the England man have left in his skill to give to Tottenham form next season.

The price of everything has gone up in this period. The price of match tickets has increased. The price of jerseys has increased. Football players' salaries and their contract fees have also increased. We went through a crazy period. The people who made the most money in this period were the manager companies again. They earn money without taking risks like football teams or football players. I think they are in a position against the nature of this game. But I don't want to distract the topic by criticizing them.

Real Madrid made the best transfer this season in my opinion. They transferred Mbappe without paying a fee. If we make a list, I think this transfer will top the list.

Fábio Carvalho's permanent departure from Liverpool which was confirmed earlier today was shocking to me because I thought the club's new manager was going to work with the young lad and probably help him grow in confidence. For Liverpool to allow him leave on permanent basis, I have no doubt that the club manager Arne Slot have signalled to the club manager that Fábio Carvalho isn't in his plan for next season and beyond.
Carvalho has shown enough potentials that suggests he'll succeed in any club he finds himself so for signing for Brentford might be the best way of announcing himself to the world. He'll surely get more playing time at Brentford than he would've gotten if he had remained at Liverpool so it's a good move for him if you ask me.  Liverpool management might regret selling Carvalho if he turns out to be one of the hottest properties in Europe in the nearest future.
