Before the EURO'S Competition finals against England, Dani Carvajal voiced his opinions on how he wants Rodri to join Real Madrid. Rodri responded by giggling and finally said " I have a contract with city, we'll see what happens in the future " What would this mean for players like Aurelien Tchouameni and Eduardo Camavinga? When you check the age gap Rodri would be 29 soon. Well, Since Toni Kroos retired from Real Madrid, they have found it difficult detect games and control the tempo of the game. He will be a good addition for them in the future, but I don't know if Manchester City would want to let him go. When I look at the first three games they've played so far so good in the Premier League Competition, they're so good even without him and I feel like shit seeing him leave would happen.

The addition of Alphonso Davies and Alexander Arnold are no longer recent news. Arnold might be a good passer of the ball but very poor defensively. Lastly, having Kylian Mbappe as a number nine will not work, I don't think he'll achieve half for whatever Cristiano Ronaldo achieved for Real Madrid.
Dani Carvajar has long tried to persuade Rodri to move to Real Madrid, although many are skeptical of this rumor, I am sure this rumor will come true. Because if you look at Pep Goardiola who will soon leave Man City, it could be that Pep Goardiola's line-up of players will also leave. especially players who have won all titles at Man City plus Rodri is Spanish and fits Madrid's current needs. Indeed there are Aurelien Tchouameni and Eduardo Camavinga but so far they have not fully helped in Real Madrid's midfield in building Real Madrid's attacks, especially since both players are currently injured. So I am sure Carvajal's persuasion will come true, it's time for Rodri to come home, he has achieved everything in England, now it's time to win in Spain.

For me personally, if Real Madrid fails to get Davies, it's okay because Mendy is also a good player, he is solid in defense. But Trent needs to be brought in immediately because he will be the perfect balance for the defense and he is not prone to injury like Davies.

It's confirmed that Galatasaray agreed to fully cover Osimhen's wages. It's a part of the main agreement between them and Napoli. 1 year loan with full coverage of his wages, but no loan fees. Also, there's a rumor about a sell clause between them and Napoli. It said, if Osimhen left mid-season, Galatasaray would get a percent of his sale.

I heard that taxes in Turkey are much lower than in Italy, it turns out that Osimhen will significantly increase his income with this transfer (in Italy almost half of his salary went to taxes) unless of course this is taken into account in the agreement. For example, in Italy he received 6.5 after taxes and in Turkey they will pay him so much that after taxes he will get the same amount. But most likely it is impossible to formalize this legally (without the consent of the player), so Osimhen's income most likely increased.

Funny enough, I have not heard or read a tangible reason for the fall out between Victor Osimhen and Napoli. No one seems to be interested to discuss the cause of the misunderstanding and no one is even discussing the misunderstanding itself. What people are discussing is the transfer and Victor's decision.

Likewise me I have not also come across any concrete reason why Victor Osimhen and Napoli are having some misunderstanding but I feel this has been a long time issue between Victor Osimhen and the club coupled with the controversy that surrounded his transfer because Napoli placed him on a high clause release which made the player became somehow frustrated because he really wanted to leave the club.

I know that this die minutes move to Galatasaray wasn't really planned at all but instead of him to be ghosted by Napoli it is better the way he went to Galatasaray on loan. He should just try and be focused over there and he will still be recognized by prominent clubs in Europe to sign for at the expiry of his loan contract with Galatasaray.

You two may be the only Nigerians who do not know what made Victor Osimhen and Napoli relationship go sour. There are many speculations and theories now, but if I recall right I think it all started when Napoli official handle made a video on TikTok mocking him after missing a penalty against Bologna and in another post called him a coconut head.

Here’s the video:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?si=Qv4-0waKA9TFSzlu&v=yH0o0z21Ha8&feature=youtu.be

Napoli later deleted the video from their page. Osimhen then retaliated by taking down all the pictures of him in a Napoli shirt on his Instagram. This was what started the feud.

From what I hear, Osimhen was prepared to move to Saudi Pro League but Napoli were asking for more money from Al Ahli so the deal was not signed and they went for Ivan Toney leaving Osimhen without any options left. It seemed like ADL is hell bent on frustrating Osimhen. Galatasaray is not the destination Osimhen hoped for. I guess he’s making lemonades out of the lemons he’s got.

There are lots of news saying that Liverpool is preparing to extend Salah's contract.  Smiley  This is great to hear honestly. It is a big privilege to watch a player like him in the Premier League. He is still performing amazingly. Liverpool clearly needs him.

Maybe you will say he is getting old but this doesn't affect his performance negatively. Special players generally show this to us. I hope he doesn't go to Saudi Arabia next summer. His current contract ends by that time.

Salah doesn't look unhappy either. He is just enjoying his game. It seems like he doesn't have any problems with Arne Slot too.
Mohamed salah has worn the reds uniform for 8 seasons, that's not a short time, it can be said that he is a legend. Extending the contract is a good decision and if it happens I respect it.
Arab league.? now is not the time for him to go there, liverpool still need him at least before there is a proper replacement.
Salah is a talented player age is just a number he is still irreplaceable in attack, in the premier league he is still scary for his opponents, liverpool know how to respect their players.

I think Osimhen will feel regret soon because of leaving Napoli. Now in Napoli, they has a better coach like Conte who is smart enough to help the team improve Napoli can have good days with Conte but since Osimhen had a bad relationship with the team and he wanted to leave the team in the situation they gave him for loan and playing in the Trukey league will definitely help Osimhen to get progress and have better performance however this can help Osimhen to be out of this atmosphere and he can recover there in Galatasaray.
A year loan deal for Osimhen to Galatasaray, he will fulfilled his desperate hunger in football for goals. Napoli new coach, Antonio Conte never complained about Victor Osimhen, rather he explored his chances of bringing in another potential attacker that will definitely fits his taste. Talking about regrets? Victor Osimhen have freedom of movement, he can choose to either stay in the club or exits, that's absolutely his personal decision to make and exiting he sticks with. The Nigeria international left for the Turkish side, Galatasaray based on the recent broken relationships with Napoli board. He was treated unfairly and have to take dimensions to proceeds towards his contracts with the club.

Osimhen has determined his career path by playing in the Turkish league and playing for galatasaray is one of the stepping stones for him to play at another bigger club next season, osimhen desire to leave has been very mature to played in PSG or other big teams in Europe, but it is precisely Napoli that seems to prevent him from moving this season,  Although Osimhen has been a good striker so far, the price set by Napoli is very illogical and that's why teams like PSG withdraw although they actually have enough finances to buy Osimhen, Napoli desire to get a lot of money actually makes them want to sell him to the Arab League and Osimhen refuses and prefers to be loaned to Galatasaray for 1 season to maintain his current performance.

So far osimhen has respected his contract at Napoli but I think Napoli desire to sell him to an Arab team is just to immerse his career in future, so it does make the relationship between osimhen and Napoli even more complicated and I think they are no longer on good relationship terms at the moment, osimhen just needs to prove that he is still a great striker this season at Galatasaray so that way there will be big European clubs that will probably try to activate his release clause in transfer market later.

As far as I know the whole thing started when Napoli insisted on selling for 130 million euro, which is his release clause, reportedly there were offers for as high as 100 million but nobody got close to 130, which is why Napoli failed to sell him. That was one part, and they did went back and asked for 100 to a few teams but rejected when there was no time left, lastly they even accepted 80 million from an Arabic team too, but Osimhen didn't want that.

This is the second stage of the problems, the European window closed after that, and Conte was mad that Osimhen didn't leave, because he had some players in mind and ready with the money they would make, so he had a fight with the player, when Conte openly said Osimhen is out of the squad, there was nothing left for Osimhen to do but just leave to whatever team takes him.
I think the second paragraph doesn't match reality. Napoli would still pay Osimhen, even if he does nothing after being excluded from the squad. His contract guarantees it. He has the right to stay. But he decides to leave there, then joins Galatasaray because of his own interest.

Also, the very important reason is that Galatasaray agreed to cover Osimhen's salary. It makes him accept a move to the Turkish team.

Osimhen could also end up at Chelsea if they did the same to give him the salary he wanted, but they refuse it.

Recent rumors have Real Madrid interested in recruiting Rodri from Manchester City at the end of this season, will Manchester City be willing to release the player? His contract at Manchester City is still quite long until 2027 and he is also a player who is always relied on by Pep Guardiola, this must be a tough choice for him because Real Madrid is also one of the top clubs.
He is also one of the most expensive players recruited by Man City so I think Real Madrid will have to dig deep if they are interested in this player for next season.

Source: https://twitter.com/DeadlineDayLive/status/1832043184865595722?t=q04Kjiw6wORTvbKjeojRaQ&s=19
If I'm not mistaken, this rumor was heard some time ago, but then this rumor sank again and was only heard for a short time. But this is still a long time, because the rumor is also for the end of this season, so there is still a lot of time to think about it. Because now Real Madrid is closed to bringing in new players and also closed to selling their players, except maybe in the next transfer market. Manchester City is projecting this player for a long time too, so they will definitely think about considering the best to maintain the stability of the team's game. For Rodri himself, he is actually quite lucky because even if Manchester City releases him, he will join another big club.

@FabrizioRomano
🔴✨ John Terry’s comment on Rio Ngumoha joining Liverpool.

“This boy is and will be a top player”. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

https://x.com/fabrizioromano/status/1831624920440119505

One for the future.

🙏🏻

I hope Rio Ngumoha does not disappoint Liverpool because he was highly rated by the LFC scouts, and thus he made his way to the club. If Terry is so appreciative of the player, I'm sure he is special and has good qualities in him.

If he turns out to be a star in a few years, it won't be the first time that Chelsea fumbled with a young talent. Because as @rendravolt mentioned, in the past Jamal Musiala was their player and later went on to play for Bayern Munich. On the other hand, Declan Rice was also a part of Chelsea's academy, but he wasn't rated by them.

Chelsea do not take care of their own players and are seen buying a lot of other players. Their business needs to see better days.

Regards

Duke

The move has actually been what Napoli wanted they wanted to actually gets his wages off their shoulders and at the moment they have done that although not all payments are been covered by Galatasaray with 9/10m been reported about so the rest would be covered by Napoli or it was Osimhen decision to reduce wages just as to get a move. Ideally the total amount of his wages is above $12 million per year which is equivalent to the $250k plus each week. This gives Osimhen time to actually play more football and also give him the chance of getting back on track and giving more teams the chance to sign him.

This move is good for both Osimhen and Napoli because they will be separated from eachother for now but if the loan deal is not a success and no club comes for Osimhen, Napoli will be stuck with him at the club. This move is going to give Victor good playing time and he can use it to prove everyone that was doubting him if he could do it in another league and country. When clubs and players start hating eachother, I do not like it because it can spoil other players mindset and they will be acting more careful and not playing with their soul for the club. The thought that the coach and club can treat them badly as Napoli has treated Victor.

Osimhen's move to Galatasaray may be his smartest decision recently. Napoli was getting messy. Not feeling loved by your club makes it hard to play well. Napoli tried to get every penny from him, but PSG and Chelsea were scared off. Osimhen had to innovate. He selected Galatasaray to focus on playing well and getting back to his best.

A strategic manoeuvre. He's avoiding the Saudi league, which frankly wouldnt have showcased his talent. He may now regain his confidence and exhibit his true potential. This season is about Osimhen's progress. He'll return stronger, faster, and more determined. He may sign with a team that values his skills next year.

Casemiro could be a good player but not fit the system United has as well, that's always a possibility. Remember, just because a player plays bad on a single team, doesn't mean that he is automatically bad player, he could be very good but not fit the system. If he leaves United and goes somewhere else and be bad there too, then I would agree that he got old and got worse, but if he leaves and goes somewhere and plays well, then we can say United couldn't utilize him properly and that's why he played bad.

And honestly, aside from maybe Bruno Fernandes, who else shined at United in the last 3 seasons? I can say that Bruno could have been a world star at some other team, like a 150 million type of player, if everyone in the last three seasons sucked, and he only shined, imagine him at a better club.

I hope Salah to stay. FSG must hand him a new contract. 2 years would be enough. The better to keep him to play in our squad instead of letting him leave for Saudi Arabia. Hendo and Mane's cautionary tale should be enough to give him a small insight about his fate if he moves to the Saudi.

Salah is still remaining one of the most consistent attackers till now, and he has been in Liverpool for 8 years. There's no guarantee reds will get a good RW to replace him.

I believe Liverpool are thinking about how to deal with the situation, because he is 32 years old and next year he will be 33 years old, so they need to watch carefully this season how many games he can play without getting injured and how many goals and assists he can make because that way the Liverpool team that takes care of his fitness could determine that giving him a contract for another 2 years would be beneficial for Liverpool. So far he has been a great scorer of goals and makes a lot of assists. In other words, he is a very important player at the moment.

https://www.premierleague.com/

He currently has the same number of goals as Luiz Dias, Bryan from Brentford and Madueke from Chelsea, all with 3 goals and are in second place in the list of top scorers in the Premier League. As long as he continues to score a lot of goals and make a lot of assists, then I believe Liverpool will extend his contract.

Napoli will definitely miss Osimhen, when it comes to being the best Lukaku doesn't stand a fair chance against Osimhen, what interest me the most is how in all condition, on air (head) or foot (dribble) he's good at it,  his tackles and responsiveness to pursue the ball from opponents is something most strikers lack which is a great attribute from the striker.

In short, if Napoli had wanted to keep him, they would have offered him a good salary package and that's it. Now I think that wherever he goes, everything will work out very well for him, Osimhen is a very complete player. If he couldn't prove himself in the PL, not everything is lost. They can make clauses that can be highlighted, however , the reasons are purely personal to the player (I imagine) and it is something that must be respected.

Eguavoen, Boniface, Chukwueze, others treat Victor Osimhen to warm welcome

Quote
Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen was treated to a warm welcome upon his arrival to the Super Eagles camp on Thursday, Soccernet.ng reports.

Osimhen has been quite busy in recent weeks due to his inability to secure a move to a big club during the summer transfer.

However, he finally got the monkeys off his back after sealing a season-long loan transfer to Turkish Super Lig club Galatasaray on Tuesday.

Initially, there were doubts about his availability for the national team’s games against Benin and Rwanda in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. However, Osimhen allayed the fears and revealed he would make it to camp on time.

Source:https://soccernet.ng/2024/09/watch-eguavoen-boniface-chukwueze-others-treat-victor-osimhen-to-warm-welcome.html

What if there was a little misunderstanding that wasn't allowed to escalate between the walls of Napoli and the player because of how desperate and they where to release the player even with no fair sent out. I strongly believe it's all good for the player, ups and down are all part of the true story to becoming a legend, one side looses while the other benefits and currently Galatasaray will be getting the best of the player performance in this season.

Great to see him return back to represent my country, I hope to see a good performance from Osimhen and other teammates in this Nation qualifiers. This Nigerian players have been the lights of each club they represent and I believe same energy will be felt when playing for their nation.

I am sure Liverpool will not let their star go at the end of this season, where they will take advantage of the situation throughout this season to make an offer for Salah to extend his contract. In addition, Salah who is 32 years old, of course, if you look at his game on the field, he is still strong enough to compete with his opponents and he is still able to maintain his best quality.

In addition, Salah is already one of the important players who has contributed greatly to Liverpool so that management must be able to appreciate his services to provide a new contract offer. Compared to Nunez, I think Salah can score a lot of goals this season, he is better than Nunez and management must be able to see it.

That is something that Osimhen must do because after all, his move to Galatasaray as a loan player for now will certainly have an impact on his future career. So as much as possible for now Osimhen must be able to make a better breakthrough so that his performance does not decline and next season can still be lured by big clubs in bigger competitions in Europe.

If in the end he cannot do this then surely Osimhen must be prepared with the worst possibility that he will have a little difficulty in terms of competition or even a decrease in value is also certain to occur.  Therefore, the decision to move to Galatasaray must be maximized as best as possible by Osimhen so that the value he has does not decrease for next season.

I learnt that Osimhen sacked his agent because he was among people that messed up his deal with Chelsea and without getting way to Saudi Arabia, more like conive with his club and that was what led him to Galatasaray. I don't know how this have been but they have showed him much love and open arms, the only thing for him now is to push the club to top first in their table, believe me he will get another club by January transfer period without any delay.

My only fear now is what is he going to do if he becomes the face of Galatasaray in the next 6 months, they wouldn't want to see him go as they will want him to have atleast a season for them for the recognition they are having right now because of not for Champions League appearance Galatasaray had, I have never for once comes across them again if not for this Osimhen saga that ended this way. I wish him the best, it's not easy.
But this is also still a little difficult if in the end in the winter transfer later Napoli still complicates the departure of this player because we know among the dramas that occur when rumors of Osimhen's move one of them is too high a clause. Indeed he can still go to another big club in the winter transfer but when the big clause remains an impenetrable wall then this will remain very difficult to force Osimhen to leave.

I agree with what you said in this case because with the current conditions, complaining is not the right place because for now he only needs to give his best at Galatasaray so that Osimhen's fans will still be there because his performance has not decreased despite the many problems that are actually detrimental to himself.

Osimhen no longer had much choice and at Galatasaray he can show himself in the Europa League and prove that he is worth his 75 million. I am also sure that he will play well and then move to a good club in Europe next year. He shouldn't have any problems in the Turkish league anyway, so the decision to move there was probably the best one he could have made.

At the end of last season there were rumours that Salah could still accept a new contract at Liverpool with some notes such as when his position remained guaranteed in the squad and see first who would replace Klopp later and now with what happened where his position at Liverpool for the line up still remains safe it seems he is also still very comfortable with the style of leadership that Slot has shown so far.

A big chance to survive is still very possible but indeed in this case I am still quite sure when the contract is still not significantly renewed then the situation will remain the same where the temptation of SPL clubs will still continue to occur for Salah.

This season there are also still rumours of SPL clubs although the rumours are just like the wind but that does not mean Salah is free now because the conditions are still the same where he is still being chased by several SPL clubs and it will happen again in January when the transfer will open.

That's not how it works I think. A lot of players benefit from the team around them. You can see that Ronaldo is the best scorer in the Saudi Professional League, but it is not as if he was a god who is scoring 70 goals in a season. There are a few good players at Galatasaray Istanbul, but it is probably not the same level as when he had the privilege to play for the top notch Napoli team 1.5 years ago. A striker like Osimhen needs assistance. He is not the type of player that takes the ball and goes for it 1 vs. 5. He needs the perfect pass or cross ball. I still think he should do quite well given his quality, but I imagine that adapting to the Turkish league may be a bit different compared to adapting to some European leagues.

Sallah himself has said that he wouldn’t want a distraction this season and he has left his contract extension aside to focus on the season, so far he has been excellent and already proven why is arguably the best player in the league. One thing is Liverpool will try as much as possible to actually make a proposal for an extension to Mo Sallah, any wage increment would take him closer to De Bruyne who is on a €400k weekly wage and that is what Liverpool need to get him sign a new contract. Salah is 32 already and he might not be thinking way too long term now and could even be considering the Saudi pro league because that’s where the money is at the moment and I expect them to bid for him since they came the last time for his signature.

I think Osimhen will feel regret soon because of leaving Napoli. Now in Napoli, they has a better coach like Conte who is smart enough to help the team improve Napoli can have good days with Conte but since Osimhen had a bad relationship with the team
It seems that it is not a matter of regret or not. But the problem of Osimhen and Napoli has been going on for a long time. And there is no agreement from the negotiations between the two that is better than what is happening now. Likewise, Napoli's condition does not allow them to keep Osimhen with that much salary. Likewise, Osimhen also still wants a salary that suits him at that time. So, it's all not only related to the team's achievements, but also whether or not he is worth it at the club. Maybe that's how it is.

Anyway, the latest news comes from Lille. André Gomes turns to LOSC for free transfer. Lile signs him for the contract until 2025

Osimhen could play for Chelsea if he accepted 150k wages offer from them. Very disappointed in how he rejected it without considering it. Then, he chose to go to the Turkish team that could pay him 250k a week. And how good Osimhen is in the Turkish league totally depends on his teammates. He's typical a tap-in striker, and he will be fully relying upon his teammates' assists.
