It would be a good option for Luka Modric to retire at Madrid after spending many years of his career there at the club without considering leaving, there's nothing much to show off again in his career aside from what he has given to Madrid so far after joining the club from Tottenham Hotspur. And I believe he will be honoured and greatly be remembered in the clubs history for his incredible contributions, If Real Madrid will give him that very opportunity to retire in the club that would be a very good thing for one of the greatest midfielder I have known.

I am not surprised, it is in the clubs tradition and DNA to make wrong decisions. Onana might have had his numbers with unfortunate errors but he is in no doubt a good goalkeeper and I think the overall team form and performance is just having effect on him too.

I also do not think Onana is a bad goalkeeper but saying it is the overall team performance that affects a player is definitely wrong in Onana case. There are players or most especially goalkeepers who standout in the squad even if the club is having a tough time, even before De Gea lost his reflexes immediately after Sir Alex Ferguson left De Gea carried the whole Manchester United team for years. I can count games that Onana has carried Manchester United. Everton are in a bad shape but we all know how Jordan Pickford turns up for them most often, this doesn’t mean he doesn’t make mistakes but it is not as frequent as Onana. Onana can have three poor games in a row and that’s bad no matter how good you are. This was the exact justification to De Gea been allowed to leave so Onana shouldn’t be an exception too

I don't know why Ruben Amorim is not comfortable with Marcus Rashford in Manchester United. The English player is a world class player. Scoring three goals and giving five assists in fifteen games is not a bad statistic. He was one of the best players in Aston Villa's games against PSG. He created four chances and made some good dribbling.

It seems Unai Emery wants Rashford to stay but it will depend on the management if they will be able to pay £40m . Manchester United will be planning to use the money they realise from his transfer to target Victor Osimhen, Liam Del or Matheus Cunha.

I think Modric has received offers from Qatar or the US, but his priority is to stay at Real Madrid. As a Real Madrid legend, I think he should finish his career at Real Madrid. Maybe if they agree on a salary, this will be a reality for both parties, if Modric wants to finish his career there, Modric needs to reduce his salary, otherwise Real Madrid may not be willing to sign a new contract.

I also see it as normal that Modric could go to Qatar or Inter Miami, many football players finish their careers like this, and Modric has the most natural right.

Obama don’t deserve to stay in Manchester United next season, the management should sell him now that he still have some years in his contract so that the team will generate some money from him even though I don’t see any serious team buying him unless if he decide to join other players in the Saudi Pro League.

I don't quite understand why it's bad news if the Saudis are willing to buy Onana? Selling him and buying/renting a more reliable goalkeeper would be a good option for United.
Amorim and the United management are in a difficult position as significant funds were spent under Ten Hag and to put it mildly the acquisitions were questionable (return of the spent funds is unlikely). Making new significant expenditures (as always in football without any guarantees) in such a situation is very difficult, but if the club wants to withstand competition with other contenders for the top it is necessary.

You should see me defending Andre Onana here last season. He was back asf but I defended him because majority of the Manchester United defense was bad. A bit of help came in this season which he kicked off well but he has not done well in thr last few weeks. I don't consider him too bad but with links of Saud Arabia? De Gea's saves are more reliable than Onana's, the Red Devils need a good goalkeeper like De Gea. Onana has been tried and it is not possible to say that De Gea is good either. I think De Gea's departure was a mistake in the first place, he left the team because he did not fit Eric Tan Hag's game plan, this goalkeeper was always good during his time at United, it is interesting how he did not fit Eric Tan Hag at that time.

I do not see De Gea coming back to Manchester United as very likely.

I never believed De Gea departure was a bad one, people are considering it as a bad one because they have seen when Onana can do and they realized De Gea was better. They should have fired De Gea and they did, but they should have hired someone better than Onana and they didn't, that part is the wrong one. They should find whoever is the best goalkeeper in the world that is under 25-26 years old, they need to get that player and put it at goal, and they should get someone like Osimhen at the striker and that is it. If they spend 75 million on Osimhen (release clause) and another 75 million on goalkeeper, that is enough for next season. Let the rest be the same and try again.

He is in his first year at Liverpool and ending Manchester City's 4-year Premier League title streak already.    He could have achieved even more titles in this year if things didn't start going really bad in other tournaments.

He did this with the same squad from the previous season as well. This is the most impressive part of course. Not many people including me knew about him before signing for Liverpool. I can't imagine how dominant they can be with some good additions to the squad. Salah's role has been huge in this success though. It is another achievement for Liverpool that they have signed a new contract with him.    When it comes to new signings, a new RB (in case of Trent's departure) and replacing Nunez might be a good start.

Manchester City’s four years streak came to an end because of their injury problems this season. Arne Slot cannot claim the glory because Manchester City are obviously not in form, they are not even in 3rd place this season. Liverpool did not do anything special this season. Gundogan is officially extending his contract for another year in Manchester City. A bit disappointed how they were extending Gundogan's contract instead of KDB. I know both were veteran, but KDB might give greater impact to the his juniors instead of Gundo.

Manchester United will be very lucky if they actually receive an offer for a player like Onana, I really don't understand how someone could still be interested in such a bad goalkeeper. I don't know about you but I wouldn't want Onana in my teal not even for free. And with the kind of salary he gets only Saudi teams could afford him.

If Juventus want Osimhen, they will not be given a discount, meaning that Juventus must pay the full clause, so I think it is burdensome for Juventus and it is impossible to redeem the clause.

What if Napoli applied the same thing to Manchester United or Barcelona by redeeming the 75M clause? Like Napoli will remain insistent and do not want to be released at a cheap price, he will probably continue to be defended at a high price at any club.

I don’t see the need to bring De Gea back to Manchester United. The decision to part ways has already been made, United have to move on. If Onana is no longer m good enough for the team they can sort other options elsewhere, I believe De Gea is not the only good keeper available to Manchester United.

Just give me a good reason why you think they shouldn't bring back De Gea back to Manchester United? David De Gea won't be the only player to come back to his former club, many players in the past has done that. Manchester United knows the capacity of De Gea and how important he can be for them in high profile matches, and in the premier league. De Gea is a proven goal keeper who will fit in perfectly with the premier league demands. Manchester United don't need a new trial and errors with their goal keeper. They don't have to start with another experiment at the start of next season. They tried that with Onana and it didn't work, they don't need that again in the upcoming season that all eyes will be on Amorim, to see how well he will lead the team. To me I don't see any problem in bringing that young man back to the club.

The reason is because David De Gea wasn’t the problem but the club made him the villain. Manchester United should move on, bringing De Gea back will only put unnecessary pressure on him to prove a point, what if he fails? If I was De Gea, the only returning to United will be for managerial or off pitch position.
