I would not be only feel desperate if i were Amorim. I might be getting even frustrated and have low expectation for the next season if i were him. I know how he feel having a club that is not keen in selling a flop. He has to do something in order to push his club to sell garbage goal keeper, then sign a quality one. His club may be reluctant in selling Onana because they might be suffering huge lost, but they have no choice. That's far better than keep him until end of his contract, and got no return. It's a bad news from Manchester United when Saudi is also preparing some money to sign Onana in summer transfer window. Manchester United will be very lucky if they actually receive an offer for a player like Onana, I really don't understand how someone could still be interested in such a bad goalkeeper. I don't know about you but I wouldn't want Onana in my teal not even for free. And with the kind of salary he gets only Saudi teams could afford him. He's the manager in charge and knows what he needs to work out things for club, and it's crystal clear that Onana is messing up a lot as the number one man of Manchester United, doing series of clueless mistakes that you don't understand what the hell is really wrong with him, Onana have been given quite enough time to redress and get improved in his keeping capacity, It will be the right thing to do by Mancehster United selling of Onana after this season and during the window transfer open. I could remember when Amorim newly took over as United manager from Ten Hag, Onana was never part of the players on Amorim list for sale, because he had believe in Onana. However, as time passes on Onana mistakes became part of him which has affected the final outcome of their matches a lot. I am in support of selling Onana, and get a replacement for him. Yes it's quite true that onana has greatly under perform under the leadership of Amorin, and if any hash decision is taken right now on him, I wouldn't fault anyone or Amorin because onana has failed to do his job properly that would have warrant his position not to be looked into, but my major concern is the defense of Manchester united, they are very porous at the back and the kind of defensive performance that I have seen of late in this Manchester united team can make any goalkeeper in the world shaky and average, if not below average, so in as much as they are trying to replace onana that has been a joke of a goal keeper at the goal of Manchester united, they should not forget in replacing those clueless defensive players at the back, because in my own opinion, it's because of their incompetency that has makes onana to be too exposed, and that has made him to lose confidence in himself, because the onana am seeing in the colors of Manchester united is totally different from the onana I knew at inter Milan. If the defensive lineup of Manchester united is fixed, I really don't think that onana will be this bad, or he will be making all this silly mistakes, the real cause of his drop in form is the defense of Manchester united, that's my own honest opinion though.

Xavi or Zidane, they'er all good. I'd not bet on them because they can suit Real Madrid well, but still value Zidane better than Xabi because of his three times UCL win in a row. If i must be honest, i'd put Zidane as my priority over Xavi. He's a proven coach and i like the way he managed the club.
Are you sure Zidane will do the same thing as in the past with Madrid? because in reality he was successful when Madrid was surrounded by extraordinary players who were already mature at that time, unlike now, Madrid players are still not mature enough because of the tendency of many young players and to manage that requires a more promising coach, I'm not saying Zidane is bad but I just see that Xabi is more suitable to manage Madrid in the current squad, my consideration is Leverkusen, Xabi can manage and bring them to be extraordinary at this time in a short time.

Then let him to sort it out. You will not know the answer if he has not yet signed back by Madrid. In fact, he's the only one who ever won UCL three times in a row. He has also competence in rebuilding back the club even with the same material. Ancelotti did shite to the club before he came as a replacement, and it's worked.

The UEFA Champions League is mainly for elite clubs, we do know that. Real Madrid is an elite team, they've accomplished a whole lot in past decades. Winning titles have become some sort of common routine for Real Madrid. They're no longer eager for titles because achieving alot does mean something for them and keeping them at edge against other competitive clubs. Real Madrid headcoach, Carlo Ancelotti have done enough already for the club and is already time he exits his managerial role. Talking about the competent capacity of Carlo Ancelotti, he's a brilliant coach that wants the best interest for Real Madrid. However Madrid president, Florentino Pérez will scout for more alternatives for the replacement of Carlo Ancelotti at the end of the season.

It just one single mistake and Real Madrid choose to fire Ancelotti. But the pressure is really high in Real Madrid, they know they almost the best players in the world, so if team can't beat other big teams, the mistake is likely on the manager, not the player. Xabi will likely become the new manager, he ever played for Real Madrid and have show a good results with Leverkusen in two years.

It would be a good option for Luka Modric to retire at Madrid after spending many years of his career there at the club without considering leaving, there's nothing much to show off again in his career aside from what he has given to Madrid so far after joining the club from Tottenham Hotspur. And I believe he will be honoured and greatly be remembered in the clubs history for his incredible contributions, If Real Madrid will give him that very opportunity to retire in the club that would be a very good thing for one of the greatest midfielder I have known.
Modric could still make some money though. I mean he probably has enough money so I am not sure if he would be willing to go still play, he is not poor I would assume, he is not making a thousand dollars per month, dude is wealthy. But, even if you are rich, saying no to money isn't a simple thing, look at Ronaldo, dude said yes because the offer was nearly 200 million a year, how can you say no to that? Modric could find at least 20-30+ million a year at Saudi League, maybe more. That is not a number you can easily say no to, some may do it but not all can. Kroos for example said he would never play there, and he was man of his word and didn't, he rather retired than kept on going, so maybe Modric will do the same, or he will accept the money.

I knew only two options were there that could make Van Dijke to leave Liverpool and it was either a big money move to the Saudi pro league or a move to Real Madrid. He ruled out a move to Saudi pro league and then I was thinking the only club he could go is Real Madrid but immediately after he was offered twice by his agent to Real Madrid and they rejected him I definitely knew Liverpool had a chance to pen him down to a new contract. There was interests from clubs like Chelsea but I didn’t see him moving there to be honest. The two players are huge part of Liverpool and having them extend their contract is like a two new signings for the club at this point in time, now they just need to add to other areas of the squad like looking for Arnold replacement which to me shouldn’t be hard with the vast amount of talent in the premier league who plays right back

How quickly opinions change, last season he was luckier, maybe the referees helped more in the playoffs, and as soon as Real lost, Ancelotti's tactics were bad. I don't think he's a bad coach, Real were definitely let down by their defense, they lost Carvajal and Militao and didn't bother to replace these guys with decent defenders, it was acceptable in the group stage but it won't work in the playoffs. It's quite possible that Ancelotti will be replaced, there have been rumors about it for a long time.

How fast people are to say that Ancelotti is now tactically bad lol. It is indeed funny. So, we can also say that Guardiola is now tactically bad as well. I personally do not think that there's any problems with Ancelotti. The problems are the silent competition between Vini Junior and Kylian Mbappé in the team. Also, instead of talking down on Ancelotti, it will be more beneficial if you praise Arteta instead. The man has been doing a good job for the past 3 seasons now. This could be his season of glory.

Also, instead of talking down on Ancelotti, it will be more beneficial if you praise Arteta instead. The man has been doing a good job for the past 3 seasons now. This could be his season of glory. Ancelotti is a great manager and at the same time quite lucky: with Real Madrid probably he won more than what he actually deserved to win but the trophies are there, he got them, that's a fact. It's ridiculous that fans now are criticizing him because I'm 99% sure that nobody else in his spot would have won as much as he did. Probably his time in Madrid has come to an end but seriously, fans should only thank him. The fact that they expect to win the Champions every single season otherwise everything is a failure is insane.

Real Madrid with Ancelotti was very bad this year. They made too many mistakes in the defense. They conceded too many goals in both the league and the Champions League. It was an unexpected performance from Real Madrid. Last year, everyone thought Real Madrid was the champion and this year they were the favorites, but Arsenal eliminated them with a great performance. We can say that Ancelotti's Real Madrid career is now over.

You said this is a very bad year for Madrid, but for me, this is not . I understand the "very bad" condition according to you maybe just because in the UCL they lost to Arsenal and are in 2nd place in the standings and there is still a chance for Madrid to win the title. So, for me the expression very bad is not right. Madrid only experienced a decline in performance, because Madrid is not Arsenal, experiencing a decline in performance like this, the solution for management is always to change coaches.

IMO it's time for Ancelotti leaves from the club respectfully. He has been helping Madrid a lot to get so many trophies, and i think it's not that bad to replace him with a new capable coach. I hope they will be named some good coaches to replace him. It will be exciting to have Xabi, Zidane or even Klopp to be on their list. I valued Ancelotti as a genius coach, but it seems he's tactically bad now. He can't still remain as Madrid's head coach with monoton tactic, which affected his club a lot. There must be a new coach with good creativity to continue in managing the club. Good luck to him with the rest of his years in his career. This was obvious after what we saw in the Champions League... I think this paves the way for him to take the Brazil national team job. He has been rumoured with it so much you know. Dorival Júnior got sacked after a short time journey. It was obvious he wasn't the right manager with his player choices.

I am not surprised, it is in the clubs tradition and DNA to make wrong decisions. Onana might have had his numbers with unfortunate errors but he is in no doubt a good goalkeeper and I think the overall team form and performance is just having effect on him too. While you are right that the team also impacts how terrible they are playing and not just Onana, it would be a stretch to call him a good goalkeeper, we have seen him make stupid mistakes every few games, so it is easy to say he is nothing special. The real issue here, it would be smart to sell Onana and get a better goalkeeper, but if we all learned anything from United, we can safely assume that they are going to end up selling Onana for cheap, and then spend a bunch of money to get just another terrible goalkeeper, and fix nothing else on the team, so they will keep being bad even after spending so much money. If they could somehow sell Onana for a good price, and then get a great goalkeeper for a decent price, then that would be a good idea but they will most likely fail to do it.

So now that Real Madrid is out from the Champions League is time to speculate. Assuming that Carlo Ancellotti will leave at the end of the season.
Who will be the next real Madrid coach?
Xabi Alonso? Zidane again?
According to leaks, Ancelotti will be coach until the final of the Spanish Cup and then immediately leave the post without waiting for the end of the Spanish championship. Frankly, the timing is shocking even considering the fact that his time at Real is coming to an end. I still can't figure out if this is true or just journalists making it up. And another piece of news is that Klopp is ready to lead Real. I wonder which of these three (or someone else) candidates will end up at the helm?

Real Madrid still has a chance to maintain the La Liga trophy and win the Copa del Rey, eliminated from the Champions League not necessarily reflecting Real Madrid journey this season is very bad. Every team will definitely experience ups and downs of performance, and that is a very natural thing in football. We know that expectations of Real Madrid are very high in every season, especially because they have the depth of the squad that is quite ideal for now. On the other hand, the change of managers is a step that will definitely be taken by management if Real Madrid fail in every competition, but what has been presented by Ancelotti will certainly be an unforgettable inheritance. The season is not over, Real Madrid still has the opportunity to improve the situation, although currently Barcelona is more favored in La Liga and Copa del Rey.

Onana might have been good when he was at Inter Milan, but not when he joined Man United, as he really flopped with his inconsistent performance. Despite the poor performance of the whole team, which may have affected Onana but, it still doesn't hide the fact that Onana made too many blunders that cost Man United the game. Therefore, it is very reasonable if Man United should replace him, but what you said could also come true, where the replacement might not be able to meet expectations and that would clearly be another waste of money.

Arteta has brought Arsenal to a position were they can beat absolutely anybody and there is no doubt that he deserves as awful lot of praise. Arsenal has a very good chance of winning the CL this season, and who is to tell them otherwise, they just beat the 15 time European champions. Next on their agenda is a SF tie with PSG and IMO, that game is 50-50, there are no favorites, so nobody can write off the Gunners.
