IMO it's time for Ancelotti leaves from the club respectfully. He has been helping Madrid a lot to get so many trophies, and i think it's not that bad to replace him with a new capable coach. I hope they will be named some good coaches to replace him. It will be exciting to have Xabi, Zidane or even Klopp to be on their list. I valued Ancelotti as a genius coach, but it seems he's tactically bad now. He can't still remain as Madrid's head coach with monoton tactic, which affected his club a lot. There must be a new coach with good creativity to continue in managing the club. Although it is not certain, Ancelotti is a great coach who has given many trophies. He is old enough to think about retirement but I think he can still give some trophies to Real Madrid this season. La Liga has been thinning for Real Madrid after Real Madrid was eliminated, but Ancelotti can still hope for the Copa Del Rey trophy and the Club World Cup. If I could vote in a poll whether Ancelotti should retire without having to return to coach the Brazilian national team which is rumored, I would vote, it is better for Ancelotti not to accept offers from any clubs or national teams. As a coach who is already very experienced, take a break.

Luka modic is likely leaving on summer as his club is reluctant in hand him new contract ext. He's now almost 40 years old, and gotta be his biggest achievement to end his football career in real madrid. It's also a big honor for him to leave when he's at peak. I hope he follows tony kroos path to retire after he part ways with madrid. I really value him as a veteran, and give so many lesson to the development of club young talents. He's one of most inspiring midfielders in the modern football era. It's only confusing me whether he keen to continue his journey in the different club, or stop with Madrid. He will be 40's soon, but still able to play football. I think Luka Modric can play football in Europe or outside Europe for a few more years, but if he finishes his footballing career at Real Madrid, it will give him a different status for Real Madrid. It must be remembered that he will leave playing football at the age of 40, but he will never stop football. I think he can add different services to his career under the Real Madrid emblem... In my opinion, if Luka Modric ended his career at Real Madrid, then surely he would be considered a legend of Real Madrid. Because he served so many years at Real Madrid and shared so many beautiful moments at Real Madrid. His playing displays is still much better than many player like still he can still do his job very brilliantly, and that's why Real Madrid wants to keep him for more years. But in my opinion he need to take a retirement like "leave the football before football leaves you". So 40 years is enough for him now he needs to take some rest. But anyway retirement at Real Madrid could be an honorable moment for him. Because Real Madrid made him capable of being called the greatest midfielder in the today football. So be honest he need to finish his career at Real Madrid rather than at other clubs.

How quickly opinions change, last season he was luckier, maybe the referees helped more in the playoffs, and as soon as Real lost, Ancelotti's tactics were bad. I don't think he's a bad coach, Real were definitely let down by their defense, they lost Carvajal and Militao and didn't bother to replace these guys with decent defenders, it was acceptable in the group stage but it won't work in the playoffs. It's quite possible that Ancelotti will be replaced, there have been rumors about it for a long time. What I can't understand is why Ancelotti let such a good opportunity pass him by. When many of the players are injured, it is very reasonable for the coach to look for new players so that his team's performance remains consistent, but unfortunately, that wasn't what Ancelotti did, and he just let the January transfer window pass by. Real Madrid is not a team that has financial problems like Barcelona, so they should still have a lot of budget that can be used to fix the hole, but unfortunately, they are not willing to use their advantages, and that is actually a blessing for Barcelona.

I might be wrong but I think I heard Carlo Ancelleti saying that Real Madrid doesn't need any player in the January transfer season. It might be that he had so much confidence in the available players or he was working based on the club's budget. I think not having sound replacements for several injured players affected the club's performance right from the Group stage. Hansi Flick is just a genius because he has been to maximize the limited resources that the club has to get resounding results.

I don’t really think that is how it is. Just because you can buy players and have no limitations to the number of players you can buy in a team due to your financial capabilities is not a good business. As we all know, football is a game of business and not all team owners will be willing to spend extravagantly to buy players when they know they already have a complete squad they’ve already signed for the whole season. I may not blame him totally because even if he has the zeal for it and Perez is not willing to, there is nothing he can do rather than manage with the available players. They have come so far in the league with such team, so I don’t think even the injury should be an excuse for their failure this season because they look strong and capable.

Perhaps Ancelotti was more than confident that Real Madrid is okay the way they are, if other coach was to be on his position on real Madrid they might be thinking the same as Ancelotti because real Madrid was on a strong form during the January transfer so it doesn't really occur to him that he might be needing players as time goes on the season because if it was now definitely he would have been rushing to sign players immediately because since money is not a challenge, however his opportunity has only come ones for him since they cannot do anything again on the champions League, next time will be aggressive for him in signing players.

Looks like Van Dijk renewed his contract with Liverpool until 2027 The dutch player extended his contract after Momo Salah did the same thing.
Fans were worried about losing their start but as always money fixes everything.
Yeah despite both players being in their thirties, they are still in the top 10 performing players in Europe in their positions. Looks like we might lose Trent to Real Madrid but it’s much easier to replace a right back than your captain and top attacker.

The fact that Ancelotti leaving is not bad all by itself. It depends on who will replace him and how that new manager will do. If they hire a great new manager, and that manager does very well, then there is nothing wrong with it, and in fact firing Ancelotti was a great idea. But if they hire someone not so great, or have a great name but does badly, then the idea to fire Ancelotti was a terrible one. So they have to wait and see if their decision was a good one, no fan of Real Madrid could be happy right now because they are worried, and until they hire a new manager the fans will stay worried. Firing someone is never good, it's about getting a good replacement and that is the only way you can justify firing someone and considering them as a good decision.

Real Madrid elimination from the UEFA Champions League quarter-final was necessary because they've failed to explore there performance in previous games. They give in so easily for Gunners and we know how this EPL side turn things around for them. Real Madrid was never the better team and we've come to realized how weak they've been this season. Not able to portray victory when they face Barcelona which have turn to be their main rivalry for the La Liga title. The fans chanting the sacking of Carlo Ancelotti for what reason if I may ask? He has done nothing wrong, moreover he accomplish major winnings for the club and they've turned to be one of the best European club. Carlo Ancelotti will decide if he wants to stay or exits Santiago Bernabéu managerial role.

If he decides to leave on his own, that's fine but sacking such a good coach now might not be a good option. I am sure the Italian will not be in the unemployment market for a long because clubs and national teams will be willing to hire him. Getting an experienced and qualified coach like Carlo might not be easy, but it's possible.

By the way, it's not that no one believed in him, but many people didn't understand why change the coach if Xavi was doing well. I generally agree with that opinion, that Xavi was doing well, but I like the way Flick is leading the team now better because Barcelona have a great chance of winning at least one of the three tournaments they are currently in. And to be honest, I think they have a chance to win them all. It's even hard to say who Barcelona need right now, I think they'd be willing to just swap players, sell one and buy another equally good one. If Flick does that, there's nothing to worry about.

His next successor also wouldn't necessarily guarantee Champions League and La Liga trophies, keeping him, in my opinion, would have been a better move. The Brazilian national team would gladly contact Ancelotti if Real Madrid let him go. Any manager would struggle in Ancelotti position, it's very difficult to compete and perform consistently with players constantly facing injuries. Ancelotti also didn't receive any reinforcements in the January transfer window. At the beginning of the season, Ancelotti was also faced with a difficult adaptation process.

Now Ancelotti is taking the blame due to the fact that things did not worked out with the squad this time, Real Madrid already got a number of quality players and it wasn't necessary to buy more players again, To me, Arsenal just got well prepared for Real Madrid and that which we saw affected few of their games in the Premier League that they did lost or drew one of their match, Real Madrid didn't see this coming because they thought Arsenal was not in their level looking at what Arsenal has been doing in the Premier League, they underated Arsenal's capacity and didn't prepare so well themselves.

... Xabi will likely become the new manager, he ever played for Real Madrid and have show a good results with Leverkusen in two years.
Xabi Alonso has achieved great things at Bayer Leverkusen. I see him as the number one candidate for Real Madrid. However, he will be in a different atmosphere at Real Madrid than at Bayer Leverkusen. I think he can be successful again, but this time things won't be as easy as before. In his career as a footballer, he faced tough tests under pressure, but I don't think his career as a manager has faced this yet...

I have googled a bit about it and isn't it that he was asked whether it can happen and he answers "yes it could"? Or was something announced by the Real Madrid bosses themselves? Obviously not as far as I could find information, but maybe Ancelotti now sees the time has come to go for his dream to participate on a World Cup as a coach. But the question about the next Real Madrid coach will be a huge one. There are not many big names available, or none at all.

The real issue here, it would be smart to sell Onana and get a better goalkeeper, but if we all learned anything from United, we can safely assume that they are going to end up selling Onana for cheap, and then spend a bunch of money to get just another terrible goalkeeper, and fix nothing else on the team, so they will keep being bad even after spending so much money. If they could somehow sell Onana for a good price, and then get a great goalkeeper for a decent price, then that would be a good idea but they will most likely fail to do it.
You've got a point, But there are other positions that need immediate strengthening and Man Utd should prioritize them and not the goalkeeper. If next season, Onana keeps making costly mistakes, then they should ship him off or relegate him to the bench while they give opportunity to another goalkeeper. IMO, Bayindir is a better goalkeeper than Onana, he's just unlucky not to be getting enough minutes. If Amorim can trust him in goal, I think he'll do better.

It would be unfair to sack Carlo Ancelotti because he didn't win the Champions League or La Liga. He has won almost everything for the club and deserves to be given a season with the club. If he decides to leave on his own, that's fine but sacking such a good coach now might not be a good option. I am sure the Italian will not be in the unemployment market for a long because clubs and national teams will be willing to hire him. Getting an experienced and qualified coach like Carlo might not be easy, but it's possible. tbh, this sack is kind of harsh. Madrid's struggle has started a long time ago, but this time , they are quite unfortunate in every competition, as they just couldn't lay their hands on any trophy. There is already a strong rumor that Alonso will be the possible replacement. He might do well as the new manager, who knows, or if zindane makes himself available, then they should go for him instead.

If Ancelotti has decided to leave, it means he already has a plan for his future career in another place. The latest rumor I heard, he is expected to be the coach of Brazilian national team. Anyway, there should be always some good coaches to be the next Real Madrid coach. Recently, I read in one of popular football news sites that Klopp is possible to be the replacement. Well, we know that Xabi Alonso was rumored to move to Real Madrid since the last season. However, Perez may change his mind, so there will be a chance for another name. I personally still expect for Zidane, but it seems a rather small chance. I valued Ancelotti as a genius coach, but it seems he's tactically bad now. He can't still remain as Madrid's head coach with monoton tactic, which affected his club a lot. There must be a new coach with good creativity to continue in managing the club.
You said Ancelotti is genius, it is non-sense that you claimed Ancelotti isn't good in tactical. I think there is no problem with Ancelotti's ability in tactical aspect, he only can't apply a proper tactic for the current Real Madrid squad. Also, Ancelotti has lost some of crucial players that makes his tactic doesn't work well anymore. The new players still can't play as Ancelotti's plan. Moreover, other teams have already improve much. It makes Ancelotti to be difficult to compete with other teams. Yep, it may be time to leave and the new coach may use a better tactic for Real Madrid.

The Brazilian National team right now is a total mess and in little over 1 year there will be the World Cup: I really struggle to image Ancelotti accepting this type of offer while having only one year to prepare Brazil for the World Cup. If he actually manages Brazil will be after the World Cup, not before, there are just too many risks otherwise.

This rumours have been circulating from a year or so. First it was denied since things went very well with Real Madrid. This season was different and with the struggle of the team to stay stable and the knockout they got in UEFA Champions League then this possibility remains high. Carlo Ancelotti might join the Brazilian national team indeed because after all he already knows directly or indirectly some players there so he will not totally start from the ground. In fact this will help him fix the team faster. I personally see it as an opportunity to revive Brazil and be a hero.
