If we haven't tried it, how do we know the results? So Xabi Alonso option is still the frontrunner so far and there are no other suitable candidates for Madrid. Besides if you rely on experience of course you are right, but how long do you have to wait? Leverkusen will not stand in his way if he really wants to go to Madrid, on the other hand there are rumors about Jurgen Klopp but I doubt Klopp will leave his current position at Red Bull.

When Real Madrid is interested in a coach, it is almost a certainty that they will get to sign that coach irrespective of who he is or the team he ight be coaching by that time. Real Madrid will want to sign Jurgen Klopp and have shown interest in him already, I feel Jurgen Klopp might leave his current job and accept the offer from Real Madrid. It is a thing of prestige and to add to your records to have managed such a big team like Real Madrid. I still doubt if Jurgen Klopp won’t join them unless they have other options that are more preferable to them than Jurgen Klopp, which I still fell any other options at hand now haven’t been that successful in their career as Jurgen Klopp did in his entire career.

But it seems that Zidane's name is currently not mentioned to replace Ancelotti next season. Indeed, Zidane is a great coach, but I am also confused why out of the many news that I have read, there is not a single name of Zidane.

All reports and news circulating at this time Xabi Alonso is the main candidate to become Real Madrid coach next season and this report seems solid from various sources ranging from (Spain, Germany, and Global). Real Madrid did approach Jürgen Klopp, but it seems that he has no intention of returning to coach next season, he is focused on Red Bull and this has also been confirmed by his agent directly.
Maybe the media knows that Zidane does not want to continue his busy life in the world of football anymore. Although the media does not mention Zidane's name as Real Madrid coach if Ancelotti takes a break from Real Madrid, it is better for Real Madrid to open communication with Klopp.
Klopp is more appropriate and may be able to rebuild Real Madrid to realize the hopes of Madridistas in the Champions League and La Liga and a number of other competitions.

Even if Klopp is reluctant, there is still Xabi Alonso. Alonso's chances if Perez contacts and submits a proposal to Xabi will be more likely for Alonso to accept it.
Alonso's signal to go to Madrid has been spread since Xabi won the trophy with Leverkusen.

Oh really? You forget how Zidane is still remain jobless at this moment. I'd liked to see him as a new head coach of Real Madrid instead of Xabi alonso. I'm not saying Xabi bad, but ain't comparable to the Zidane. I hope god will help them to re-signed him as a new coach.
I miss the time when Madrid has superior squad that won everything.
Well, Zidane is one of the greatest coach but you need to understand that in the squad depth of Real Madrid, those players are no longer there on whom Zidane used to implement his tactics. So if you want to relive those moments, that is not possible at all. And if we look at reality, maybe Zidane's tactics will not work on Real Madrid. Because Zidane used to emphasize more on
crosses, but unfortunately, there is no fair crosser in Real Madrid at the moment. So it may be that Zidane's returning may prove to be bad.

However, the arrival of Xabi Alonso and Klopp can give something new to the team because both have been outstanding coaches and have proven themselves. So I think Real Madrid should think of a strategy to bring them between these both two rather than Zidane.

xabi alonso is the one who is always linked to real madrid if ancelotti leaves madrid and this news has been circulating for a long time but for kloop, i am also not sure he will go to real madrid. currently jurgen kloop claims to be comfortable with his current job, it is just a speculative news if kloop is linked to madrid besides that kloop is also linked to the brazilian national team.

First of all Klopp doesn’t have any job at the moment, he left Liverpool and hasn’t agreed to any club yet, rumor had it that he had actually stated that only two things can bring him back to been a manager fast again and it is either a Real Madrid call or a National team call. Right now I think Klopp will be better suited for national team football than managing any top football club, I was thinking he will get the Germany job if Julien Neglesmann fails to win any thing tangible soon.

For me aside other candidates like even Zidane my preferred candidate is the Bayer Leverkusen head coach Xabi Alonso. Alonso did a Fantastic job at Bayer Leverkusen last season which ended the Bayern Munich Bundesliga dominance but yet to repeat such impressive feat again which I will say is base on the players mentality but the tactical idea of how they will play is there. Madrid again need a long term Coach with modern football knowledge like him that can put this young players into order and still play the best kind of football the club will want

It would be unfair to sack Carlo Ancelotti because he didn't win the Champions League or La Liga. He has won almost everything for the club and deserves to be given a season with the club. If he decides to leave on his own, that's fine but sacking such a good coach now might not be a good option. I am sure the Italian will not be in the unemployment market for a long because clubs and national teams will be willing to hire him. Getting an experienced and qualified coach like Carlo might not be easy, but it's possible.
I don’t think Real Madrid want Carlo Ancelotti because they didn’t win silverware this season, I believe they are still very upset about their home and away loss to Arsenal in the Champions League. Real Madrid we’re overly confident about the game, maybe they thought that they could do the same magic they did against Manchester City but Arsenal shocked them.

Come on, the season is one going,  Grin They still have a chance of winning the other two trophies.

The loses may have not been bad, but the fashion in which they lost them and, more so, sometimes in their own backyard. The El Clásico matches where they lost by a huge goal margin definitely put Carlo on the edge of the knife.

Real Madrid don't that Elcasico loses lightly, especially if they can lead to a trophy.

Real Madrid don't that Elcasico loses lightly, especially if they can lead to a trophy.

In some sense there is also irony involved because the Real Madrid seem to have forgotten how lucky they sometimes got to win the CL. Edge of the knife is the right term here because they have been on that edge so often while being on the lucky side of things eventually.

Frankly, there is no point in signing a new coach because I think most here would agree that Real Madrid is more than ok with Ancelotti next season. They would still be favorites for the CL and all other titles alongside Barcelona of course. It is not like Ancelotti doesn't know how to coach anymore.

That is why I believe that if they sign a new coach, it doesn't have to do with the failures this season. It was about to happen anyway. Ancelotti wanted a change and Real Madrid wanted a change and if they can get a household name onto their bench for next season, they would do it. They would have probably let Ancelotti go even if he won the CL. You never know what the deal was behind the scenes and how serious it has been for Ancelotti to say goodbye himself in the perfect moment.

Klopp’s never managed a team that is always a favourite, where the pressure is so high to win with very little room for failure. At Dortmund and Liverpool he competed against teams that spend much more money than he could. He was given time to build a team at both Dortmund and Liverpool, he would not get time or any leeway at Real.

It will be really interesting to see how he does at a club where he is allowed to spend a lot more money. I don’t think he will go to Real Madrid but would be fascinating if he does.

Klopp has always been a project kind of manager. One thing I like about him is that he has always fought hard in leagues that has top managers as well. If he eventually joins Real Madrid (which I'm not sure of), then it will be his third time of moving to a league that has other top managers. He did it while he was at Dortmund, and of course pep was his competitor. Same thing while he was at Liverpool, and of course, pep was there to compete. If he chooses to make the move to Real Madrid, then he has Flick and Simeone waiting for him, and I believe he will do well if given the time to work.

But the big question is, will he take the offer?. From what I saw, he's currently the sporting director of RB Leipzig, but I hope to see him back in the game of coaching.

If Kloop goes to Real Madrid, it would be much easier for him to succeed there compared to when he was at Dortmund and Liverpool, regardless of whether he'll be given much time or not, there would be enough funds to build the team to his taste in about 2 transfer windows that's the summer and winter windows instead of waiting for many seasons. That aside, Real Madrid already has lots of quality in their depth, they just need a very good manager that would put them in order and get them performaning at their best again, Ancelotti have been good with this particular squad in the past but it seems he's currently lacking ideas of how to put them in order. According to your question Klopp might not likely take the offer but if given an offer he can't reject then he'll jump on it, who wouldn't want to coach Real Madrid especially when it comes with a very good offer.

That is interesting idea about Klopp possibly going to Real Madrid. You give good reasons why it might be easier for him to do well there compared to when he was at Dortmund and Liverpool.
Real Madrid already has many good players. They do not need to build whole new team but like you said they need really good coach to organize them and get them playing their best again. Ancelotti has done well with this team before but it seems like he is having trouble figuring out how to get them to play well now. And you have really hit main point about Klopp decision. Even if he is not looking to move if big club like Real Madrid makes him very good offer it would be very hard for any coach to say no.

It's all still speculation because there has been no official statement from Real Madrid regarding Carlo Ancelotti's future. It was failure after failure that gave rise to the speculation, and it would be quite dismal for Real Madrid if they do not win even one trophy, so it is quite reasonable that many people assume that Ancelotti will be kicked out. So are the rumors about the replacement. But if it does happen, I think Jurgen Klopp is a pretty good candidate to take charge of Real Madrid.
There is still a chance to get a trophy but it really depends on the team's performance and I think it might be difficult because Barcelona is in much better condition. The rumors about Ancelloti's dismissal are not entirely true because Real Madrid themselves have not announced it. But if in the end Ancelloti will be fired, then I think Jurgen Klopp is much better than Xabi Alonso because in terms of experience he is much more proven because he has so much experience when handling Liverpool.

I'm sure his agent just shut down any rumours linking Klopp to Madrid today. Then again, some journalists use that statement and publish a news article with a title like "New rumour emerges..", which can be misleading. I also think he's not suitable for Madrid based on his past clubs. As great as he is, if his principles clash with how a club is doing its squad building, I don't think he can do much. I believe if he's going to coach a club again, his next destination is probably AC Milan or something similar. But who knows what they are offering to him, if they ever did.

Real Madrid president, Florentino Pérez will make his own choice, he's the main man incharge. Real Madrid doesn't always go for the preferred choice of the fans rather they bend their way to go through making good siging that's better for the club. If I'm to choose between Jurgen Klopp and Xabi Alonso to manage Real Madrid, who do you think I will go for? Ofcourse it will be Xabi Alonso because he's this kind of manager that have prominent future ahead, he's young and learning new strategies while Klopp will just stick to one pattern since he's ages and wouldn't be developed zeal to learn new patterns for his club. He will deal with facts and experience, that's the only way to get him to be ontop.

I wish KDB to stay much longer in City. He's right about he can still compete in the high level of football competition. It makes sense to hand him one year contract extension because he's the only guy who often carried his club. I know how good he is, though old enough as a football player.
I obviously support him to stay, and hope agree even to take salary cut to stay in City. Happy to see he still realizes his potential as one of great midfielder.
I hope his club will aware of his intention to stay much longer.

Judging a good coach isn't necessarily about how long in has been in the coaching game, but what he gat upstairs is what matters a lot. You might say that Klopp is the right coach to take over from Ancelotti due to his coaching experience, but that's not a guarantee that he can do better that Xabi Alonso in winning trophies. For how long have Zidane been in the coaching field before he won the UCL title for Madrid.

It's hard to expect his performance will back in the next season, but the problem is Manchester City currently don't have a deserved player who can replace De Bruyne. Extend his contract for one more year doesn't sound bad.

Manchester CIty can use one year to find better player, whether it's Marmoush or sign a new top attacking midfielder.

Naturally, his performance continues to decline because he is old and often suffers from injuries, which is probably why his performance has dropped.

Not sure if Manchester City will keep him? Because the KDB story explains he will leave, right? Maybe this is the last season or if there is a change of mind from the club by extending the contract 1 season indeed this is not too bad.

It could be that in the summer if it is true that KDB leaves, it will recruit new players again but we still don't know who Pep Guardiola is targeting in the summer.
