I know I am alone in this, but I do not like Konate at all. I do not think he is the type of defender Real Madrid needs. I understand that they want to get rid of the Alaba-Militao-Rudiger trio and go younger and be better there too, less injuries.

Now this is another headline, Potter is becoming one of the worse coach in the world of football, since after leaving Chelsea he hasn't been with a club for a whole season like nothing successful to write about this manager, he was one of the b et inntge EPL when he was handling Brighton but now he has become an amateur and he can't beat the smallest club with which ever club he handles. Sweden national side are not as stable as theybused to be and they feel by making Potter the manager he will bring them back to winning ways? I doubt because he hasn't shown anything productive, if he couldn't give West Ham what they needed what makes these guys think he can make Sweden better? Handling a national team is not for this guy honestly.

Mo Salah played exceptionally for Liverpool last year despite his age. His performance this year hasn't been bad at all. I think he's already a legend who deserves to be retired at Liverpool. Of course, that could change if Liverpool decides to let him go, or if he decides to transfer to a team other than Liverpool. As we all know, Saudi Arabia can offer him a lot of money. If he chooses that, he could leave Liverpool, but I think he's a talented enough player to retire at Liverpool.

For me he can easily play at very high level for at least other 3 years. Just to make an example, Lewandowski is 37 years old and he's still scoring like crazy, why? Because he works a lot on his body and physical shape. Salah is the same, but 4 years younger. If I were Liverpool, I would absolutely keep him.

When you consider that, why wouldn't they be able to offer some 100 million for 2 seasons type of thing? It can be done.

Not only that, but they could be offering him  the biggest salary anyone in the UCL could offer. That alone is a great thing for Salah, he would be making Saudi levels of money, but still be in UCL and not gone to obscurity as well. Will it be exactly how much Saudis can offer? Replacing a bad coach with another bad coach will never work. I have seen enough how terrible Potter is as a manager. I can see him will do much worse than what JDT did. The only positive thing from him is that he can speak swedish well as he's ever managed Östersunds. However, his past history won't help him so much in his managerial career.

Very sad to see Swedish FA is so stingy, and not able to spend more in bringing a world class coach to handle its NT.

I must say the fact that signing Potter is a regression to the Swedish National Team. I'm not a fan for this transfer.

The biggest challenge is the high salary required to acquire this great player. This is a very risky move, considering that Galatasaray already has Osimhen on a high salary. I hope Galatasaray doesn't force themselves to buy a player at a high price, as it will become a financial burden. If they are in a bad financial situation, it will be very difficult for them to recover. This is a warning: they must learn from previous teams and be more prudent in managing club finances so they can survive for a long time but grow slowly. Their revenue is still low and, in my opinion, they are not yet financially mature.

They still have significant debt, and this will be a very difficult challenge if forced.

It is indeed a very interesting situation, replacing a bad coach with another bad coach it sounds funny because Potter wasn’t a bad manager before moving to Chelsea, well I don’t really know if this team still have a chance of qualifying for the world cup, but I must say that Gary Potter isn’t the right man for Swedish National team, and why will he want to manage a country side, I was thinking he mostly focus on the club football, that might just tell you that this manager is looking a different way of redeeming himself, he was doing very well at Brighton And before Chelsea hired him, and turned his career to a mess by giving him a bad CV by sacking him, his been struggling ever since leaving Chelsea.

He was the manager of Chelsea when the Rebuild started, and he was finding it difficult after loosing so many players, but sometimes I find it very hard to believe that Potter is a bad manager, his downfall started when he signed for Chelsea and that was a very bad decision he made for his coaching career.

You're right, he has enough quality to finish his career at Liverpool. If he does decide to leave Liverpool, I’d still love to see him play in Europe because he can still deliver good performances and show great form. After the situation was favorable and after achieving great success in recent times, it seems that PSG's expense list is steadily increasing because Paris Saint-Germain have sent a tempting offer for William Pacho, because we can see that they are closing in on a new contract for this player with a high salary. In fact, this player came to the French club in a great move in the summer of 2024 and now he has transformed into one of the most talked about members and here he is getting a little more status and rights than his national team in Ecuador...

I beg to differ with on this one mate. Coaching career success is independent, their success in the new challenge does not depend on their previous challenges. Although, people generally believe that once a coach had a bad experience and got sacked, he won't bounce back and would be judged upon that bad experience which is very unfair. Graham Potter reign as a Chelsea manager was never a great experience that could boost his chance in future opportunities but I don't expect him to continue being that bad in his future career. Most at times, some of this coach accept jobs that will frustrate their lives and make them look inexperienced trying to make themselves fit in a job beyond their experience. Take a look at Chelsea legend, Frank Lampard who had a terrible management as Chelsea head coach but having a smooth experience in his current management because that's his level. Perhaps, Potter might be the right person for the Swedish national team.

Right now some reports published it that Yamal Jamal is frustrated with Hansi Flick public criticism, and due to this, Saudi Arabian clubs are taking advantage of the matter to send a massive bid to Barcelona for Yamal Jamal.....

Barcelona is adamant about Yamal. They won't sell him unless one accepts buying out his release clause (which is 1 billion euros  ). They would never want to let a talent like him go just because there are some problems between him and the manager.

Al-Hilal must be very optimistic to send that offer. And I guess they wouldn't go that crazy and pay 1 billion for him.

Isn't anyone interested? Instead of placing a parlay bet on Man City and Arsenal, I think choosing a 1x2 bet on Chelsea looks more promising. After all we all know Nottingham current form is very poor, so the possibility of them pulling off an upset is almost impossible. And if you consider the odds, there's no difference between them. Arsenal and Man City have total odds of 2.14, while Chelsea are 1.97.

Potter never tried to improve himself. His potter ball often not worked, but still being so stubborn in using it. It's not surprised me that how monotone strategy exposed by his rival. This is the reason he faced such a huge decline on his career. The only thing that saved him is his luck.

He's not a bad manager if it refers to his past performance, but just accept the reality if he's the worst manager based on his career stats above.

Retiring at Liverpool doesn't seem like the right time. Salah can still play at his level, and even if he leaves, he can still perform very well at another club. It does sound ideal for Salah to stay at Liverpool until he retires, but realistically, when the club starts sharing his regular playing time with new players, it's better to look for other options.

Graham Potter is not new to Swedish Football. He took Östersunds from the fourth division to the Allsvenskan and won the Swedish Cup in 2017. He has not been successful since he left Brighton. He was sacked at Chelsea and recently at West Ham for poor performance. Jon Dahl Tomasson's sack might be a chance for Potter to try a national team management job.

Sweden is on the verge of not qualifying for the World Cup. They have not won a single game after four matches, where they managed to get one point. The recent loss to a lowly rated Kosovo at home was disgraceful. Maybe he can do some magic like his namesake Harry Potter.
