Secondly, Lewandowski earns a lot. Atleti cannot afford that salary for a player who will be a backup. He won't take a pay cut that will be significant enough for Atleti to sign him and make him a backup. Why take a pay cut to be a backup in Atleti when he can earn high and be a starter in the MLS or Saudi league?

Why would Atleti get a third striker anyway? Sorloth and Alveraz have been doing very well; they won't sell them, and if they're selling either of them for financial reasons, Lewandowski earns more than them, so that won't fix the issue.

The club owner is to be blamed for this, he literally use his money to get disgraced. Maybe he doesn’t have any experience in the game of football and think he can always make the right decision instead of leaving the work for the professions to help him and get the result the team want. Lewandowski was a very talented player but we all can agree that he isn't that active like the way he as back in the days. He isn't that active like he used to be back in those days, I feel he is going to be sold or let go after this his contract expired. If Torres can mistakenly give him a wide gap this season with plenty of goals, they will not take that chance before the contract expire before his contract expire or after it expire so he can be a free agent again.

However, I like one thing about him, he doesn't put money before fame. During the struggle of Barcelona, he was ready to cut off some of his salary. I believe by the time he is ready to move out of Barcelona, he will be sent of together with his pay and start another life. If not that players don't want to retire quickly like how it used to be now, he doesn't have any business to be playing in Barcelona if we are been honest, everyone want to be like Ronaldo these days.

Ange Postecoglou sack wasn't a surprise news it you ask me cause he can be managing a team and don't produce good result for them it's better he wasn't there at all because his presence didn't create any good impact in the team they just kept losing games until they finally decided to let him go after losing against Chelsea. The management of Nottingham Forest  made a big mistake by sacking their former manager he would have gotten the best solution to the problem of the team if they had allowed him to keep handling the team.

Was expecting it but didn't think it would be this sooner, thought he would be giving sometimes until December or something to get the team back together but nothing seems to be working. The results are bad but they were just unlucky in most of thoss games. Taking over a struggling and unstable job in the middle of the season is never easy.

Still doesn't make sense to sign a manager for 2 years to get rid of him after 8 games in charge.

I also feel bad for him. Like he did everything he could do last season just to make sure he ends the season with a silverware and he achieved that aim by winning a European trophy only to be shown the exit door. And just less than 5 months into his new job as Nottingham Forest manager, he's been sacked. When Chelsea scored the third goal today, you could see how disappointed he was from his facial gesture. I think he was even aware that he'll not last more at the club if he gets beaten. Hopefully, he'll get another job where luck will shine on him again.

Looks like for now Nottingham is getting a domino effect from the ego of its leaders
From the beginning the decision to sack just because of personal problems is actually not very good because this will affect performance but they were too hasty in taking a stand when it could have been addressed more professionally.

Ange is a good enough coach but the unpreparedness of the new club where the players are still stuck in the rhythm of the previous coach has made the situation even worse than imagined.
I don't expect much more for now because the current sacking and replacing with a new coach could have no impact and I won't be too surprised when Nottingham this season has to be relegated because the conditions may not change even though many things are done.

The forest has chosen the wrong coach when they have target premier league throphy, because Ange Postecoglou did not play well when they coach Tottenham. That club almost degredation and standing on 17th position. I don't know what management thing when chosen him, because europa and premier league have different competition, which I think are not enough competitive when compare with premier league. Now I thing the management should call back Nuno Espirito Santo. This guy is a hero for the club. If management realistic thing, they should fired global sports director which became the main trigger the relationship with Nuno.

The news currently pointing to Graham Potter is more about coaching the Sweden national team. He might be considered the most ready candidate. However, coaching a club team is indeed different from coaching a national team. Graham Potter would also have to be ready for the pressure if the national team he coaches does not perform as fans expect. You are right, the pressure and targets for a national team are definitely higher than coaching an ordinary club team. But I think if he is offered, he will surely accept it.

There's no reason to turn down coaching a national team, as it's the dream of most coaches, even though the pressure is much greater. If given the opportunity, Graham Potter could probably deliver something much better, as he's used to being under pressure, especially when coaching a Premier League club. I don't think his readiness would be a problem, as Graham Potter has the ability to handle these situations and has had times when he's been able to deliver better results.

Being a national team coach is certainly challenging, as he must bring together the full potential of the players, especially since most of the players play for different clubs, so each of them will receive different instructions and strategies. But that's not the only reason, and I'm sure if the offer came, Graham Potter would definitely accept it.

Yes, 2 points in 8 games is impossible to forgive even for a manager who came in the middle of the season. Now Nottingham are finally settling into the relegation zone and, with West Ham and Wolves behind them, which could well start picking up points at some point, Nottingham's prospects of staying in the Premier League are no longer guaranteed. For maximum cringe, Nottingham's management must now hire Ten Hag

By the way, Mancini has pretty good record as a coach. However, i feel he's a washed coach. He has never managed a team in the proper league for almost one decade. It sounds stupid to sign him instead of other coach who is still actively managing a club in the proper league.
Just bring Dyche who has similar coaching method as Nuno. I think it will be working.

Mancini clearly had better CV, but he has been absent for almost a decade. The last time he was coaching Saudi NT, which is ended with being sacked and it doesn't impress me. His CV means nothing caused by his long absent makes him lose his competence in coaching a club in the competitive league.
It's totally different with Dyche who is ready in coaching Nottingham. He's still active in the competitive league. Even if it's not Dyche, Marco Silva also looks good as long as it's not Mancini caused by he is a washed coach.

Yes, Roberto Mancini is more experienced and has won more trophies. But football managerial skills are evolving every day. If you are not abreast with modern-day tactical skills, experienced coaches might struggle. Was the Italian tactician improving himself all this while he was out of a job?

Experienced coaches like Jose Mourinho, Ange Postecoglou and others have been struggling to make any tangible impact for some time now. In contrast, young and inexperienced coaches like Vincent Kompany, Cesc Fabregas, Xabi Alonso and the host of others are doing great work in their respective clubs.

It appears so. Modern football needs a set of fresh eyes who can see the game as it is now. Jose Mourinho and others were great managers in their day but football has changed and these younger managers successes are proof that they may have cracked the code.
