If you don't mind, where did you get the RX570 nitro+ from? Got a RX570 nitro+ 4GB some days ago. Strange - has the same VRAM-Types - one Elpidas and one Hynix like RX580.But Hynix, instead of the RX580 Pulse 4GB, has the Hynix as the main VRAM relevant for tuning. I optimized successfully the BIOS by trying several straps - found the right one at the end. Got 29.8 MH/s - quite good, but only with the Glaymore miner under W10 and BIOS parameters: 1150GPU/2060Mem/0.9V Mem/0.86GPU. Power consumption @90-100W. With Ethos-OS I got only 26.5MH/s - anybody an idea why? If any questions - just ask for.

got the last one, sorry. It seems that we all have to buy expensive cards either in the 2nd market like ebay or wait til AMD can produce more. Nobody knows actually when the availability will be better as long as a lot of new guys or companies join into the mining area.

@Mattthev - sure that your ETH-Wallet-ID is correct, seems 3 digits are missing
Right thanks. I accidentally delete it while editing my signature

Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this thread!
I'm looking for help in getting my 2 XFX RX 580 GB Hynix to hashing > 30 Mhs. I'm close and getting a consistent 29-29.5, but never go above 29.5. I've made the following changes:
GlobalCore 1200 GlobalMem 2175 GlobalPowerTune 3 Globalminer Claymore (9.7)
Modded the GPU Rom to copy the 1750 Mhz Timing setting to the 2000 Mhz setting.
I've seen several instances of people getting over 30 Mhs with this card. How can I get that last 1 Mhs?
My numbers are based on single mining ETH.
TIA.

Hi, I just flashed my shappire rx580 nitro+ 4gb oc. I just put 1:1500 timmings to 1:2000 and 2:1500 to 2:2000.
Result mining was the same. 24 mh/s. Im looking how to get best results with hynix memory but I dont find how. Any guide or any help? Thanks

I have literally spent days on this... I ordered 60 RX 580 Nitro+ 8GB GPUs over a month ago. The first round of them started showing up this week (First two that I tested with are Hynix mem). Out of the box I was getting 24Mh/s. Updated drivers and was getting 21Mh/s. I spent hours and hours looking for info on how to get my hash up and was getting no-where. I had a min panic attack but then came across the below post. http://1stminingrig.com/best-bios-rom-sapphire-nitro-rx-580-8gb-oc-hynix-memory-30-mhs/User Ti posted down in the comments how they got it up around 30Mh/s (Real Solution). I did what was suggested and was getting about 28-29Mh/s. I just like you wanted that extra 1Mh/s as that plus 60 GPUs is a big deal. I tweaked and tweak in TriXX and below is how I am currently getting in the upper 30 and even 31 on occation Mh/s GPU Clock: 1275 Mem Clock: 2300 GPU Voltage: -66mV for the most part it seems stable but only been running for like an hour. I'll post back if anything changes. Good Luck! https://i.imgur.com/yvyX2Xs.pngEDIT: Once I started hooking up more than one GPU to the rig it would crash. Getting VM_CONTEXT1PROTECTION_FAULT_ADDR while trying to mine on SMOS. In Windows 10 once I would plug in the 2nd GPU the first would hash 1-2 Mh/s below the norm and the 2nd GPU was hashing at 4Mh/s total. There is something wrong with running these cards in windows 10. I've tried driver version 17.1.1, 17.4.3, 17.4.4 and 17.7.1 and all react the same. If I don't have an HDMI plugged into the card running a monitor the Sapphire LED goes off after boot and I can't get any temps or readouts. If I start mining with it the LED comes on but I can't see any temp/fan read out in Claymore and it gets very hot. Overall just very glitchy and unreliable in Win10. Why would running 2 GPUs cause this? Any ideas? Right now I have it stable for about an hour in SMOS (ETH 29Mh/s - SC 585Mh/s) but I had to reflash the bios and remove all undervolting. Just have copied mem straps as suggested in the link above. Only downer is that each card is pulling 180W as before with the undervolt it was under 100W. If anyone has successfully got these running (6 or 8 gpus) on a rig and stable around 30Mh/s I would really like to know the secret magical settings. Any help would be very much appreciated.

How I can lower the vcore in PBE? I know that 65xxx values are dynamical for support all cards so how I can to decrease vcore then?
I read a lot and check a lot of bios and only values changed are mhz, sometimes go high as default and sometimes are lower.
Thanks

So my Sapphire Nitro+ RX580 Limited Edition cards came in today, so I ran some benchmarks. I first tried to find the highest error free memory clock for each memory strap and chose one that performs the best. I followed this up by downclocking the core until the mining performance was noticeably affected if I'd gone further. I then proceeded to reduce voltages as much as possible. The trials and results can be found here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0CbyDF8Rhg5LS1CdldsUGs5OTQ/view?usp=sharingI was able to achieve 29.3Mh/s at 77.5W as reported by MSI Afterburner and HWiNFO without any reported memory errors. After 1 hour, the card remained at 42 Celsius in a 72 Fahrenheit ambient room using only 40% fan speed. If power isnt an issue, the 1450 stock clock at 1.125V which can go higher would do great for dual-mining. http://imgur.com/DnB9WH1I have 6 more of these to play with, and I'm looking to reproduce these results. If anyone has any custom memory straps they'd like me to test just send me a PM (these use Samsung memory). UPDATE: After additional strap tweaking, I've gotten to 30.5Mh/s Eth. The card can dual mine 1450 Mh/s Dcr with no power limit, however by balancing power to hashrate, I get 1130 Mh/s Dcr (w/ 30.5 Mh/s Eth) @ 125W UPDATE2: The Nitro+ RX580 seems perfectly happy to run on just a single 8-pin power connector. However from my tests, this reduced hashrates by 1% and power consumption by 1% consistently The 1% drop seems to only have been temporary. Hello It does not let me go down more than 100mV, so I do not go under 1025. I have copied your settings and it goes very well, but with the mV at 1030. How do you lower it? thank you very much

Ive been trying to setup my rig for dual mining Its running 6x XFX RX 580 GTS XXX (Hynix)
I've edited the memstraps already
Cant seem to get more than 500 MHash on Decred on dual mining
I am getting 29.4 Mh (Eth) and 540Mh (Decred/Sia)
Claymore settings are
cclock 1150 mclock 2190 cvddc 850 mvddc 950 powlim -20 dcri 19
Even at stock voltages I cant seem to push the cclock any higher without it crashing. My understanding is the cclock affects the decred mining hashrates.
GPUZ is showing an average 115v

if i offset the mv to 975 or do i have to change the max wattage output?
also do i need visual redistribution files 2012 or 2013 installed? i have amd drivers 17.7.1

Dear all, would like to post my findings about power consumptions - I use RX580 with 4GB - the normal polaris and one 570 nitro. I'm measuring the whole power consumption of a rig. The board with cpu is consuming about 60W. A whole rig with 2 RX580 and the 570 consumes about 500W - this means a power consumtion of 150W per RX. With the tuned RX580 I get 28Mh/s and with the tunded RX570 nitro+ about 27Mh/s. I expected more from the nitro+ (has Hynix), but I checked several stripes - no way to get more out. Think experts like matttev can get the last percents out, but I don't think it's possible with only 80W per RX580. It all depends on how to measure the power consumption - it's easy to get wrong on that.

what should i change to reduce the wattage the gpu uses since i know have my memory OC and my gpu core underclocked. am using srbpolaris is a value for tdp but also a value for max power limit and small power limit? or if its the VDDC i should change what is a good vddc for a 1100mhz core on a rx580 an rx480

I'm using the voltage values recommended by 1stminingrig when I downloaded the rom from there and it's been working like a charm for 90w, I haven't done any further customisation but it can be a good starting point for you http://1stminingrig.com/best-bios-rom-sapphire-nitro-rx-580-8gb-oc-hynix-memory-30-mhs/

Do not waste your time with Windows. This system is only for small rigs. I have 27 rx580 8G Nitro hynix, 3 rigs with 9 gpus each. Only works with Ethos. I've spent weeks of testing and more testing. (Ethos is a big shit but only works steadily at 30MH in this SO) The Saphire rx580 8G Nitro also seemed to me the best cost benefit, but that's not what I'm seeing. It is low cost but only for ETH mining. I have another rig with 7 Nvidia 1070 Gaming X worked perfectly in double mining with 31Mh ETH and 310Mh SC without having to change the bios or overclock, running Windows 10 Update: I discovered that all Linux-based systems (Simpleming and Ethos) can not do undervolt on AMDs, so going back to Windows with limited GPU, 8 by rig.
