Hi guys,

been staking RAIN for about a month now, which has been good, until tonight when I went to check the client and found it had been automatically deleted by Microsoft Security Essentials because it thinks the wallet contains a trojan. Went to redownload the client, and it fails because the computer thinks its a trojan. Downloaded the client on a different computer. Starting syncing the blockchain but within 10 minutes this computer thought it was a trojan and deleted it as well. Can't download another copy.

Anyone else experiencing this? Would really appreciate some insight. Thanks.

It happened on both Windows 7 and 10. I worked around it by turning off the scanner then creating an exception for the wallet then turning the scanner back on, which seems to be working for now, but very strange nonetheless.

My staking wallet just disappeared all of a sudden. What might have happened? The Condensate wallet program just vanished from my computer
Your antivirus program might have moved the wallet exe to quarantine or deleted it assuming it's some kind of trojan. Some other user also mentioned similar issue in the above posts.

Yeah, when I did full virus scans, it flagged the wallet as a Trojan. Is this a real trojan? Or is it wrongly flagged by the virus scan? If so, how can I unflag/use the wallet?

I thought I was hacked. Doing all the necessary security measures still. No excuses.

Same happened to me. It's just a false positive. You need to add it to exceptions in your AV.

It is truly the sexiest staking wallet, even better than running a masternode. Rain drops, falling on my head.....

Yep, false positive with Windows Defender identifying many wallets as "Trojan/Vagger". Same thing happened here, BTX wallets also affected.

Yes you can. You can even run the same wallet on 2 pc at the same time.

Wow is that even possible? By doing so will I get double staking result?

That can only cause problems. You will not get double reward. If anything, it can create false block mining where no one gets rewards
