Hi,started staking this coin and finally got the bounty today after 10 days.Do we need to combine the coins or just keep it as it is for the next stake?
It depends on the volume and time of the first transaction you received. How many coins and how many days ago did you start to stake? started with 2600 coins on 2nd of this month and today got my first stake reward.. 76 coins.

Either way doesn't make a significant difference. I think you'd better buy some more coins if you can when it's so cheap. Better to have at least 10k to stake.

Decided to take an advantage on low prices and added to my wallet some Rain. I have now 170 K coins and they are staking like crazy!

That's why my rewards are taking longer to show up

Question for you guys, do we need to backup the wallet each time after a reward is received or is the first backup enough to restore the current balance anytime in case of loss/corruption of the active wallet ?

You don't need to backup each time you receive rewards. You must backup when you create new addresses.

I also just decided to buy some more RAIN from profits I made with another Altcoin. I don't have as much as you but I am working my way to at least 150k RAIN before the whitepaper is released which I believe to be very soon, hopefully be the end of the year. Once people start building on their stacks they will start to see the real potential RAIN has to offer when it comes to staking.

Hello guys. Quick question. Does the wallet work on a raspberry pi 3? In the Rain page says that the Linux wallet file does not exist. Thanks.

There is a tutorial for the raspberry. Join the slack channel to view it.

If weekly then the minimum amount should be at least 5k to 10k. The more the better but as some people can't afford much I think 5k is a good start and right now its a good time to buy while the price of RAIN is under 1k sats.

I know vella, you mentioned it a couple of times before.... I am talking about blocking to get rewards more regularly. This ACTUALLY means putting them on different addresses on the same wallet, right? The amount of rain you're staking depends on the amount you're holding. So do you think reducing the absolute rain amount per address and the reduced stake-rewards are overcompensated due to increased frequency stakeing s when everything is summed up?

You can send to the same address if you want to separate them into blocks. They just need to be in individual transactions. ie. you send rain to the same wallet address twice instead of all at once.
