Surprised the devs didn't get this on more exchanges, not even altilly.  I think you need to be careful with this original dev because I think he's been active behind the scenes in various projects the whole time.  Someone was using his avatar on discord with a similar project, Highcoin, which just went to nothing.  He's one of those devs, and there are others, that won't negotiate with you on doing honest work. These kind want you to work for free and in that case they seem criminal minded.  What I mean is the typical BS that we saw with the two projects we know he's involved with.   I don't know who the current dev is.

I agree my friend as RAIN can easily get listed on several exchanges right now as there are many exchanges now days that have cheaper listing fees and some are even free to list on, just need to go through a voting contest. Apparently there is meant to be an announcement coming this week from what I have seen in the discord. Yep we must be careful of this old dev because we have seen what he has done here and with his first project Boat.

Well we are meant to be getting some big news this week coming, maybe that's when the wallet will be released. The vote is over now and like I said the winning vote was for a max supply of 750 million and a 10% APR so now we just have to wait for the announcement.

I believe Rain is still listed on Nova Exchange but I don't use that exchange anymore so I can't say for sure. Right now Rain only has Coinexchange until Cryptopia re-opens its doors for deposits and withdrawals. Once Cruptopia re-opens then we could see the price rise as this is where all the volume was before the Cryptopia hack.

No risk IMO, but after their change of owners and the prohibition of wash trading ( it was soooo fun) volumes are really rickety...

who knows about risks? At least, with rickety volume so far, I don't have any intention to use Nova exchange if their volume in total won't increase.
It's risky, in my opinion risky, to trade on such rickety volumed exchange because it is hard to buy and sell coins at your expect prices.
Who knows if they won't get profits/ income from running the exchange for months, what will happen next? I simply want to take care of myself and my investment fund.

Not just there either, he also posted in the Rain discord server the other day. The question is what is he going to do? I'm not sure if the new team will want him back as he was MIA for over a year. For me I would like for Objavest to come back and start working on his first project Boat as there is no dev team working on it and gives him a chance to prove himself and gain the trust from the community again.

Excellent points. 

It will be interesting to see what happens with Rain and if they do accept Objavest back? The problem with Rain is that we haven't heard anything about the rain meter for months now and the price continues to fall. I myself am thinking about getting out of this project unless we get an update soon on what is going on with the rain meter. We have been waiting months for the new whitepaper and still nothing, there is only so much we can take before people start leaving.

I had this happen to me as well and as there doesn't seem to be any word from the dev team in the discord, I decided to cut my losses and get out of Rain. Not only does the wallet have this problem there is no word from the dev team at all, maybe in their telegram but I'm not in there and anyway they should update all social media channels and not just the one. I may re-enter if I see an improvement but right now it seems dead.

You're welcome mate, Thanks for the tip on that thread as I'm always looking for new staking coins to add to my staking portfolio, its just a shame that I had to let Rain go after holding since the first month this coin launched so I have been holding for a very long time. I hope it turns out for the best here but I'm tied of waiting and seeing no updates in their discord.
