Good, you've made a good decision bro  but, remember gambling is like someone who is addictated to picking-up prostitute on the road-side only to be feeled with regret after few minutes of wasting money on her. So, i encourage you to back it up this decision with consistency - in order NOT TO GO BACK INTO GAMBLING. i have a friend who has similarity with your story buddy it is great for you to leave gambling alone if you keep continue playing with it maybe it will hurt you too much seing your profit are losing you already made your own good decision stand for your self again and start a new life without gambling maybe your path is in trading. you all have to start thinking about midle grounds and reach a balance. if you don't like gambling then that is alright but if you like it, then make reasonable bets. not something that you can't afford to lose like this other topic in this baord talking about losing 12BTC!

You are right, but some people are very white and black about things, you are with me or against me, and as such they cannot enjoy something by moderately gambling they need to put big bets and take big risks and in my opinion those people need to stay away from gambling. |

You are right, but some people are very white and black about things, you are with me or against me, and as such they cannot enjoy something by moderately gambling they need to put big bets and take big risks and in my opinion those people need to stay away from gambling. I agree, there are indeed people that really like the thrill of betting big amounts and trying to truly gamble their money and try to make a huge profit. That's their adrenaline rush and they love it. Though I think it is still a guilty pleasure they have, they will likely regret it in the end and will say that they will not do it again, but really they will do it again. |

True but when you win some matches or games, it'll take over your emotions and you'll be greedy in no time, if you'rea regular Gambler then controlling that is a tough job. It's a good decision to stop gamble. Hold on to it. |

The real test to know if you have control lover yourself is being able to gamble in a way that isn't stupid mindless way, that is how you test your self control. But some people just have to quit 100% and stay away, those are the worst cases.
Im able to not able for 11 months, and then gamble at the end of the year in the vegas casino with some friends when I make a trip there, just for fun. If you cant enjoy it for fun then just quit.

Good realization  I sort of did the same and backed out from playing pure gambling games like dice and roulette. I have kept a foot into poker and sportsbetting as they are not purely gambling. Better to stay out of it. I have seen millionaries losing all their bitcoins in single sessions after a tilt. |

It is a most common decision that almost all the gamblers will be taking at some point of time when they are facing continuous losses, but unfortunately most of them are not sticking with their decisions and coming back to gambling. But I do see there will be some positive things in these decisions like they are at least stopping their gambling for some period, because they would have lost some more money in between times. |

This is quite a good thing to teach us that gambling without control is disastrous. Reason is that it can eat up all your money even those that is intended to other things. Thank you for sharing us your side of story, may this be a lesson to us that whenever we are gambling we should not let greed overtake us and be contented if ever we won enough.
Almost all the gamblers are having some story similar to this but only one or two gamblers decide to quit but I am afraid they will be stranding on their decisions for ever. Because, over time they come back to gambling to take 'revenge' the gambling but finding themselves into deep problems than before. I wish OP to stick within his decisions and resolutions. Some gamblers make that mistake and it is unfortunate because th more they quit and then after some time they come back and lose their money then they will lose confidence thinking that it is impossible for them to quit to gambling, that is why if you quit you must be firm about your decision. |

to me i think in most of the cases people cannot succeeded to quit gambling for ever, they can only stop playing gambling for some time and after that they start plying it again, i think there will be very few number of people who may be able to stop gambling forever. otherwise it is very difficult to stop it. |

It is better to avoid gambling completely if one is not able to control themselves instead of wasting money on it. Because if you're stressed, you will have many other options to get a fun and entertainments, not just only gambling. Online gambling is becoming popular only last few years before that not everyone can access it so easily and that time people had different ways to get fun. |

It's just for fun no more. I do it when i won some money during the week.
