Why I suddenly decided to leave gambling alone.

I think You are in the right track because gambling is involved economical risk.it can destroy your life.I don't like bet but sometimes I stake small amount.Just do not take seriously bet.

i also don't like to bet, i only bet the money i get for free or i win in some case here and there, at least i have no risk by doing so, because these money were gifted, and also i don't gamble a lot only when i feel lucky, you know some times you feel it

Same as you, I don't do betting a lot, Also i don't consider it like a source of money. It's just for fun no more. I do it when i won some money during the week.
Mostly, i placed my bet in week ends, when there is a lot of games. by the way congrats to him by quiting gambling, It's a good decision i think.

That's good for you because some people really use their money until they have none left and that's sad for them because you will never know how much you can do with the money you used until you lost them. It's fun especially if you don't have to spend your money to gamble, there are sites that offers free things and that's awesome.

It take years for people who are addicted to something it may be gambling, smoking etc . But gambling is something where you lose out millions within few minutes if you are so much addictive to it an many have actually lost their saving in this addiction.

That will help a lot making yourself calm when playing but it doesn't mean that you can have a good profit by just controlling your emotion. It's just you can stop your self if you win or you won't do big bets or the worst is max bet of you are lossing.

It is better to avoid gambling completely if one is not able to control themselves instead of wasting money on it. Because if you're stressed, you will have many other options to get a fun and entertainments, not just only gambling. I am also doubting how much he will be successful with decision of quitting gambling. But the best part of his decision is he got chances to realize himself and made the decision of leaving off gambling completely.

I'm not seeing any of my friends who are suffering from gambling severely not making this kind of decision, really hats off to OP. When he will be sticking with his decision all the times, I believe he will be setting some good example for gamblers here.

I've had good moments and bad moments in my life, but the worst moments is when I spent the entire day gambling and focusing only to winning money for this or that.
I'm tired, seriously, to win big and then fall in more deep "debt" because of greediness. I can't afford to have such experiences anymore, it makes me sad the fact that instead of saving those money I preferred to spend them on a gambling site, I was like oh ok it's just x, so If i can lose it it's ok, oh it's just a faucet, it's ok if I lose it. But when If even with the faucet I reach like 0.06 or more, and then I lose them it's still a touch to the heart, that makes you say if I start back with this amount I can magically make it 0.6, yes probably, cause I did that in the past, as my far record is been from 0.001 to 1.6 btc in 3 hours with roulette, but let's not dig that.

I prefer spending the money on what are my necessities now, than see my wallet drop in amount. Every single f*** time, every time I had the chance to buy btc, or doge whatever, I ended up expecting to win big.
EVEN if I win big, I repeat that, I waste the money afterward, because I think it's a good idea to bet bigger now if my budget supports it, and there it goes down the hole.

Greed always beat the best of us, it's like a root that flowing through our veins that is causing us too much loss. The thing here is the "what ifs". What if I win? What if my bet will get bigger? What if this is my lucky day? When we first take our step in gambling risks and hazards are there. Hazard is the loss, risk is the game.

Why I decided to leave gambling anyway? I saw how rapidly I was going down in the past few days, and like an hot potato to keep sinking my butt on the wallet. I'm tired of that. I better move my butt and find something that used to keep me busy, like programming, I love programming. But then I got stressed and I started to gamble.

Even if it doesn't happened to me, I've seen people who lost almost everything in gambling. Because of that addiction they even drown in debts and try to do bad things. Pressure and the pop up thought in your hand that saying " I should've save the money ". It's a good decision bro. Fucos in business and investments instead.

Me its not leaving it alone but its giving time and space and not doing it everytime. Cause its not fun if the same outcome is coming to an end. at least look for it 2 a week or thrice a month.

If your focus in gambling is to win and have profit, then I would say that you were doing it all wrong in the first place, by choosing to bet at roulette and casino games etc. That is a road to failure in my opinion, since you can't profit from those games in the long term. So I would say you made a good decision. I play in casinos and I like it, but I'm not trying to make profit from it. I just enjoy testing my luck from time to time, and if I get some coins from it, it's just another reward, and not the main one.

If you can't get into that line of though, than quitting gambling is a good option. If you really want it for profit, than I think that you should had search for it in other forms of gambling, like sports betting or poker, etc, but even that is very hard.
