If bitcoin will be advertise on tv it would be a good move for it because we all know that almost every household have it and not all has computer to see whats happening online. however its a currency and not a product so i dont think its necessary, i believe btc will become popular and recognize by many people without advertising it on tv.

i haven't seen one as well and i'm pretty sure my country doesn't have one. It's quite a good idea to advertise bitcoin on Television so people will know about bitcoin, but who will advertise it? Like as you know, the fees for tv advertation is expensive. And also, bitcoin is a bit too complex to advertise on television. Not many people will understand it and i think bitcoin is quite well known already. We can use internet and social media to advertise it though, rather than television advertisement.

Bitcoin being commercialized on the Television would allow more people that haven't heard about Bitcoin to get involved with Bitcoin. Since there's people that like to make money doing a bunch of odd things then I am pretty sure that there would be people who will be interested in making money by only investing their money into Bitcoin.
The MSM has made a few attempts to push bitcoin, it seems Hollywood writers are into cryptos ( I remember an Adult Swim bump that listed the writer's favorite alts). They mentioned it on Almost Human, and Family Guy. But it's still a bit arcane and too technical for the masses; btc needs alot more user friendliness before widespread adoption is possible. |

I don't think it is a good idea to advertise bitcoin on tv as it is expensive and it's difficult to understand what bitcoin is in like 30 sec. And who will pay the fee in the first place.

Yeah right, I think it is not easy to understand the bitcoin being different with real money, advertising on tv is very expensive and if done on a massive will not much effect because all countries have yet to approve the bitcoin. |

Maybe it will confused thousands of people of what bitcoin is all about.But when you come deeper to it,it will amaze massive people of what it could possibly offer to the viewers especially those who are interested to gain extra income without much effort to make.

You can always see bitcoin in the news so bitcoin enthusiast will be able to follow and keep updated.
For businesses that usually put advertisements in the TV, if they will use bitcoin as part of their payment
system then that is already a great publicity.

Yeah there is a chance for bitcoin to sky rocket when bitcoin is aired in the world wide television because it will make a lot of people curious and if they understand bitcoin very well then they will adopt it and bitcoin will become a world wide sensation and soon the price will sky rocket because of the incoming demand. |

I've just thought about this for a moment but, if we want bitcoin to get more popularity, attention or acceptance would it be nice to make some advertisement about it on T.V.? I don't know if in other countries they advertise bitcoin but in my country, I haven't seen one. How do you think advertising bitcoin will affect the people? Any thoughts?
Well television as far as I know is one of the biggest source of information aside from the internet so it is indeed that advertising it on TV can affect its popularity as well as to its status and it can give an interest for the people to know what is bitcoin but I guess the problem is that a media network would make a lot of conditions in order to make it happen and for sure the government will interfere . I do agree so that but who will spend the money to advertise Bitcoin on the internet? I do not think that someone will take the responsibility to do this job and as far as I know, people just want to hide the truth that they are using Bitcoin The one who I think that will be taking the responsibility to do the said job is not actually one person only but a a group, organization or a company I don't think that they will still hide their activities with bitcoin as they are not making a transaction that is prohibited from the law or bitcoin is not even prohibited from their country . |

You can not advertise Bitcoin on TV. By "can't" i do not mean that you are not allowed to advertise it on TV, i mean who would want to spend all those money just to let people know about bitcoin on TV. The government? i don't think so. Instead people can advertise about their brand/industry/company on tv and let people know they are accepting bitcoins.
On the other the news and other people who talk about bitcoin on tv, aren't they indirectly letting people know/advertise about bitcoin?

Right now there are an involvement going on on movies, T.V. series or some commercials that involves the word bitcoin on it and I think this is not a coincidence and I think that part where they involve bitcoin on a line of an actor was a campaign for further people to get curious on that word, "Bitcoin" I think this is a bold move to make in taking it to the mainstream I think that many people would really get involve in certain aspects of bitcoin because of this T.V. advertisement and campaign.

Yes, Bitcoin on the TV will make it further more interesting and popular. Recently Bitcoin has been in the media with the news of Ransomware virus. Even though the News is not good but by this many people who were totally ignorant about the bitcoins, now seems to have some know how of this future cryptocurrecy. |

I think we got even better popularity already not only through the TV but through every other media channel: the Wannacry terrorist attack. The payment method they used was bitcoin so now everyone knows about bitcoin. I think after a couple years bitcoin will be known by everybody. Everything is going pretty good right now for the currency!

You are right as there are still many rich investors and traders who are still investing their money in gold and they are waiting for longer time for the price of that gold to increase in value and then they withdraw their profit and some poor traders who are not able to invest in gold and do not find any other asset. If they both will hear about bitcoin then they both will get a good profit. |
