What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.?

I've just thought about this for a moment but, if we want bitcoin to get more popularity, attention or acceptance would it be nice to make some advertisement about it on T.V.? I don't know if in other countries they advertise bitcoin but in my country, I haven't seen one. How do you think advertising bitcoin will affect the people? Any thoughts?

If bitcoin advertise on T.V i think some become curious about it because some people don't know how to use technology. Some are people lives on village that they don't know how to use gadgets.

If bitcoin advertise on T.V i think bitcoin become most popular and every person who watched that advertisement they search about bitcoin. Once they saw the good potential of bitcoin they will invest on it.

Bitcoin does not need that, merchants will be enough to get the word around that they are accepting this new payment method, that is the way I discovered bitcoin, I was about to buy something and then I saw this symbol I did not knew what it meant and as you may guess it was the bitcoin logo.

Advertising won't be necessary. Have you ever seen anyone advertising dollars? Why would anyone advertise money for money. It will automatically get circulated with time.

I haven't seen bitcoin or even heard bitcoin of the television
Maybe I'm outdated  I think promoting bitcoin on T.V. is a good Idea
But we needed funds or company who will pay for promotion
T.V. advertisement is very expensive, every second counts

If people are already using bitcoin then they would feel happy because bitcoin has been introduced through Tv media.

It will be an easy for the bitcoin enthusiast to to promote what bitcoin is if this things will be announce most often in the television.
Because advertisement or advertising was a big advantage for us to make it popular so easily.

We need advertisement of the particular thing that has no publicity , so here we don't need to make advertisement of the Bitcoin even at any platform .
We need to explain only about the Bitcoin that can make us more experienced to known about this thing and explain us for the earnings ideas about it .
But still if you will say that we need advertisement then I will say that who will be responsible for the advertisement of the Bitcoin funding and money to give advertiser and publishers , because the owner of the Bitcoin himself is annynomious to the world .
Well beside of these we need to advertise about the Bitcoin legalisation in every country , so that we can use Bitcoin in every field .

I think Bitcoin doesn't need any advertisement on tv or even on the radio because bitcoin got what its want, popularity, fame and etc. I haven't seen also here in my country, I don't know if they aware this but if you are always staying on your computer whole so you know it but ignoring it. We must study hard on this if you are really interested in bitcoin then after a while, it is easy for you to explain to everybody about this. I want to have a company of bitcoin around the globe to maintain the popularity and to maintain price increase. It is only my suggestion, I don't know if it is gonna work but I hope so.

The newbie has a point here, we don't need those advertisements, we still had a lot of users even if bitcoin is not advertised on TV. I am also thinking that most of the users here are attracted by their friends or someone they know, not because they've watched it on TV, like me, my friend just told me about bitcoin, though I've watched it on TV but did not pay attention to it.

Recently I saw a news report on our country news channel the reporter said about bitcoin price, popularity e.t.c but he also said that no other currency like bitcoin price.bitcoin is most expensive currency in the word no one like it so it's like an advertisement on TV who seen the report then he/her research on it then he/her use it.

Exactly, we are on the same page. I believe that bitcoin will grow organically in next few years and thus we don't need to advertise it. Yes the bitcoin companies are free to advertise their products and services so it will bring the television audience in the bitcoin user base. However, we as an individual must share the bitcoin stuff with our friends whenever possible, either online or offline.

well i also agree since tv can do good but also possible to harm the reputation of btc as it happen before a lots of bad news related to bitcoin has been made and its pushing away possible investors we can advertise  and share our knowledge regarding to this system and that's the best way first hand experience will make newcomers believe.

HHHmmm .. aside from social media next to the most influential thing today is  the advertisement especially on televisions. If bitcoin is advertise in t.v. especially by artist that is very popular today, I'm sure bitcoin will be one of the hottest topic everyday. Number of people who knows bitcoin will be doubled and I am sure many will do bitcoin. Everything we see on t.v. are true so the people will not doubt on it. I also think that if one country advertise bitcoin on t.v. for sure bitcoin will be advertise in other country too.

Okay. YES it will known by  much more people but it also has a disadvantage.
Not all people beleive in bitcoin, not all people are pro on it. For sure they will find a way to destroy bitcoin. They will do everything even small issues they will make it big. They will discourage members of bitcoin. They will also prevent people joining bitcoin.

The answer is simple, many people will get curious about what Bitcoin is and it can result in more people who will start learning and earning about what is it all about. Curiosity kills the cat. 

Same as the internet or social media, television is much common to most people in different status in life. Every household has a television. If there will come a time that Bitcoin ads will be produced on TVs, then we can truly expect a result like this.

I see coins.PH already advertise on Facebook already. But I haven't seen it on TV. I think Facebook advertisement is already enough exposure for bitcoin. And I think there are mainstream media that is advertising as well. But for TV, It will be really effective but no one can really claim ownership of bitcoin so its hard to put in on TV because no one will pay for the airing on TV.
