Several years ago I could not even imagine that EOS will be capable of becoming so great and now it is real competitor of ETH. Tables had turned so hard.

I don't agree that the current EOS dumping comes only from the FUDs.  The mismatch between such high inflation rate in EOS and the slow progress of Killing dApp could be the cause of such dumping.  The finitude is very important in Cryptos.  5% inflation rate of EOS is rather higher than that of Fiat money.

By my opinion, to restore trust and, consequently, cost, the EOS network must prove the security of transactions and demonstrate the performance of the promised decentralized applications. Development remains attractive for startups, but only time will tell if dapps can work online, and if they find their users.

It seems to me that now we need to take into account the general mood in the market and today it would be best to just look at the fact that today people have more fear than ever, so I think that now it is important not to rush into it.

$4 billion rised in ICO..
..current market cap: $2,674,294,013  Roll Eyes

So far i dont see any significant development with eos anywhere.
eosfinex beta wasnt launched in november in accordance to timeline. And there should be official version 1.0 release coming out in january..

thats a bit poor performance for 4 billion. how many good developers producing some significant results can one hire for mere few millions?

so, where did the money actually go?? Huh

I reckon it's just a matter of time for EOS o go back from where it started - around 1 dollar. Currently it is rather overrated and the capitalization is way too high.

I think Tech wise it's very interesting. Very high transaction rates, much more decentralised that centralised systems. "converging on decentralisation" as a route to adoption and uses way way less power than POW. A "blockchain", you can use at scale for real-ish stuff (like gaming?...)

HOWEVER if it takes off, there is the scary danger it become, as @fractalUniverse called it FED 2.0.

The biggest problem I see is centralisation of the token distribution. A few whales dominate the voting for BPs. Vote buying is already happening so there's already corrupution, in a system that provides trust through the unquestionable integrity of the block producers...

Telos is interesting in that they capped the snapshot at 40,000 tokens on their chain. Personally I think that was too high and they really should have implemented a logarithimic function rather than a cap to give the big whale investors something for all the money they gave block.one.

The big problem is identity. The WORBLI chain is tackling that using KYC approaches. Most people seem to imagine there is a magic identity solution around the corner that will make EOS great again... get you URI handouts here folks... except I'm really skeptical there is any such solution anytime soon.

EOS will blow past Ethereum next yr, there are so many hot EOS dapps that have all been airdropped to eos holders for free.
I found some good research about some of them here in these articles on steemit:

Investors runs away every second.

i think this is not the investors running away it happening with all the coins and tokens
bitcoin is also down people are selling BTC also and prefer holding USDT in the current situation
market is very unpredictable now but market will rise it will not going that way all the time
EOS have strong community when bull run starts then its price could easily cross its all time high prices

i agree with you that people are selling and buying stable coins like usdt
its temporary crypto will back soon with bigger audience
current price of crypto making every crypto trader nervous its better just buy good crypto coin and tokens specially top ten cryptos and should not check price on daily basis
most people predicting crypto going more low and i think its not going that low because its already on its bottom marketcap is 121 billion$ and its very difficult that it will go under 100 billion$

Once IPFS is implemented will a programmer be able to develop a full stack strictly on the EOS mainnet?

EOS is the future. All they need is to work on their efficiency to become leader of the market. I regret that I could not travel the time and ivest it.

No need to time travel. As it looks like you just have to wait a few more days and you can buy it (again) for one buck.

Ohh and EOS, they shouted that it was a killer of the air, mine Larimer never brought the projects to the end, and this project will be exactly the same. I do not see any prospects high for this project, and even more so to be a killer of the air.

Poor EOS, it's losing position on CMC. Right now the current rank is number 8, my forecast is that the free fall to continue. Realistic price would be 50 cents.

$ 0.50 of course can be, but this is unlikely, I think developers will keep the coin at a certain price range with all their might.

EOS has unlimited potential as far as i know compared to Ethereum, but I tried to open a wallet for EOS months, user experience is painful compared to Ethereum.

I heard some criticism about the EOS project. We collected a huge amount of Ethereum during the ICO, and later could contribute to a cardinal drop in the price of Ethereum. At the same time, this platform can become very attractive in the future, as a high level of scalability, flexibility, speed of transactions and so on. No, I see potential, but I'm not a big fan of this project yet.

Unbelievable, EOS every day falls faster than any shitcoin.

Ye, I see the same. And I was surprised by Justin Sun with his tweet about fund that will help to ETH and EOS programmers after zero price  Cheesy Good decision! But for EOS it's some incredible. Many projects moves from ETH to EOS blockchain or make dApps for both. But price dump and we can see same situation as ETCdev
