Congratulations to the #EOSIO Community, we are witnesses to history

Bitfinex has released their voting tool, check out the announcement here: https://www.bitfinex.com/posts/253

CAUTION - there is an active scam impersonating the EOS Countdown website, the URL has an extra dash and asks for private keys. They are direct messaging people on Telegram and also advertising in other EOS community gathering areas. Let's help each other stay vigilant, spread the word! The correct site URL - https://eoscountdown.com/

https://support.binance.com/hc/en-us/articles/360004910291

Binance has completed the distribution of EON. You can login and check that the EON has been credited to your account.

The distribution of EON was calculated at a rate of 1 EOS:1 EON and was based on a snapshot of EOS balances at 2018/06/01 4:00 AM (UTC).

EON withdrawals are now open.

I held on to my EOS, registered my MEW for the airdrops, to date I'm yet to receive any of the mentioned airdrops. I've been seeing meet.one airdrop, eon airdrop, and the likes, and I'm wondering if I did anything wrong at registering. Can someone please explain why I'm yet to receive any.

Not an EOS specific interview, but does give a good idea what Dan is thinking: https://youtu.be/I-X4faugNuI

Well menlo is having a cross-chain wallet and EOS is included might be the first one to fully implement this kind of stuff supporting ERC20 tokens, EOS, and stellar. Their plan is to fully integrated a wallet that is capable to avail any token sale at the moment it starts.

I can still get it if there are still some things that I can guess. EOS will be a nice palmtop for me. I think you will get a nice return on your investment here

Of course yes, we will get a nice return of investment with EOS especially the people who invested in EOS when was ICO stage Cheesy actually in my personal opinions today is late for investing into EOS due to right now EOS blockchain has been launched and it will takes long time to getting large of profit and must wait for the decentralize application dapps on EOS blockchain.

Fortunately the market didn't overreact on EOS down and didn't kick the EOS price that much lower. Anyways it would have just been a short term reaction but it's still nice to see that overall the community seems to trust the people & organizations working on EOS instead of starting to panic sell on the first issues.

Can anybody explain how EOS Balance is generated? When I take any account (absolutely any) holding EOS in ETH network, I see that its EOS balance in EOS network is always 10 EOS, and the rest is divided evenly between NET Staked and CPU staked.

For example (this is not mine, I just found a whale's account in the block explorer):
ETH address: 0x88f32e7d791745a6df0cac9f0bc12861e460343e
EOS balance in ETH network: 16777.68
EOS public key: EOS5ptGUnkqSqAYrzkTfCgvB5ZA5cdRfQ3rF6oF2zoxTXozrBeixY

EOS balance on eosmonitor.io:

Quote
EOS Balance: 10.0000 EOS
NET Staked: 8383.8399 EOS
CPU Staked: 8383.8400 EOS

With any other address (including my addresses) everything is the same: available balance is 10 EOS, the rest is staked.

What does this staking mean?

Looks like the problems were fixed quite quickly.

Will eos be the token for eos storage? Or will eos storage have a new token?
