I think this might be an opportunity to create new functionality and purpose for the coin, instead of just a rename and coin swap.

We kind of need to decide what we want it to be used for and move forward strategically. IMO, getting the chain moving and some exchanges on board isn't going to magically make Flappycoin valuable.

of course magically not
but getting the chain moving is principal
previous POS attempts were killed not by POS itself

From here https://sites.google.com/view/flappycoin/wallets . I suppost it is the same wallet.
don't forget to use right .conf file with nodes

addnode=96.52.216.191:11556
addnode=88.89.11.212:11556
addnode=24.9.245.200:11556
addnode=54.186.211.206:11556
addnode=104.244.216.187:54890
Yep, same nodes =(
! backup your current wallet.dat elsewhere in secure place before manipulations !

save QT in new empty folder with libwinpthread-1.dll and check if /Roaming/Flappycoin is also empty at start besides .conf file

don't use your real wallet.dat at the first start
allow program to create it (dummy with 0 balance)

if no nodes are seen after start - try to add them manually in console by typing every string and press Enter after each:

addnode 96.52.216.191:11556 add
addnode 88.89.11.212:11556 add
addnode 24.9.245.200:11556 add
addnode 54.186.211.206:11556 add
addnode 104.244.216.187:54890 add

Energies should be wholly spent on getting the coin stable and working and past the hurdles of reward halving and eventually POS, that's a big enough challenge, given past events in the coin's life Wink

The main reason ive undertaken this is to return what was lost
I see no real value to adding the coin to an exchange until we have moved to pos
Only exception is for people who want to buy some to hold

I defiantly see new games with all the advances in novice game designers
Flappy is also going green with the new algo . there will still be mining

My position is going to be to maintain the coin it is not for me to say what will be done
with the coin beyond that , it does not belong to me It belongs to everyone

I am developing a DEV team (DEV the DEV Team) lulz
we will be creating a few coins with new and unique features
any functionality we innovate would be added to flappy if applicable

I would like to see flappy involved with games in some way.
I can think of a few just off the top of my head
there are also 2 or so coins used to buy games like a play store
maybe we could get in on that

I would .. not warn but however i would express
The new version of flappy will have a launch party
and many other things that go along with a launch

Remember when mining was fun back in the day

it was the imputs ... the wallet cant deal with very many inputs
thats why we stopped attempts working with pos on the wallet
I did a lot of editing and still wallet practically comes to a halt around 200 inputs

Sweet.

I see the block reward halved from 12500 to 6250 a couple of days ago.

Indded its very likely the reward will go back up after the swap aggressively

once we have given fair time to anyone holding before the swap starts
to trade their coins in . we will update to a much higher payout and let the miners have at it to
make up any coins that were accounted for and accommodated for  but indeed no longer
exist due to have had being burned

in theory there should be 70 billion and change as of block 700000
provided zero coins have been burned

since as far as i am aware there is no way to know how many
coins still exists so when doing the math for the swap coins
we will assume they are all there so no one is left out
