I noticed that SUMO is traded on https://tradeogre.com/exchange/BTC-SUMO

Miniature volume but worth mentioning.

Never heard of exchange before, I would prefer to play safe and trade on well-known one or recommended by Sumokoin themselves one. Still, additional exchange means our coins are doing well!

The CryptoNote algo for Monero is undergoing a change this March, any coin mined with old miners will not be recognised, will this affect Sumocoin in any way, will Sumocoin go the same way ?

so i've noticed there were talks for future development, but from what i see there is 0 actual code gone into this project, how can we be sure the developer can even code? right now all we have is a clone with a few parameters changed and some advertising banners made up. github is just a few random commits, remove a comma here, comment out text here, add a line here, nothing substantial which the average unskilled joe cant do with notepad.

My question is, is there anywhere we can see actual code?

onionpealer: No, Sumo won't change the algo and Sumo miners won't be effected.

@darangus: if you only post nonesense, better don't post at all...

I am an unskilled Joe and I cannot tweak the difficulty algo to be more responsive, I cannot create a cryptonote gui wallet in python, i cannot merge subaddresses code into a monero's fork core, i cannot implement subaddresses use into GUI wallet (even xmr doesnt have this), i cannot do many of the things included on sumokoin's git

Now 3 possibilities here
1.You have no idea what you are talking about
2. You have no idea what you are talking about and you intentionally want to fud
3. You have no idea what you are talking about and you heard someone else fudding and came here to copy paste

Unskilled Joe please check and confirm before you post any fud

Will you bother retweeting then?

I designed a super nifty 3d printed keychain Paper Wallet Holder which secretly holds your QR-codes / mnemonic keys and microsd card.

I'm giving away 20 if i win the competition so, help yourself out i would say:

I've got 5 R9 380 cards and after tunning them I'm getting 3000 h/s with 600 W. I'm using SG-miner.

Is it a good resoult for these cards?

I think you are pretty close. You might be able to tweak out 400 h/s more using xmr-stak. Are you doing any over clocking? You might be able to get a little more out of each card. Watch for extra heat if you start overclocking as temperatures will rise.

Happy mining!  Grin

@sumogr

Any plans to recruit new talent? Looks like fireice_uk (assuming is legit) made a comment on Reddit suggesting he might be open to joining the team.

We have all seen his work, so would give the project a lot of credibility if you guys were to bring him/her on.

That speedup is not something to be missed. Sumo should engage him to join the team. Not only it will give the project more credibility, but at a same time, more reason to use Sumo on everywhere.

Again, Sumo should mind its own business and concentrate on making its own path if it desires to be different from Monero. But the cheerleaders just can't help it. They can't wean themselves from Monero.

BTW, what would a "stick be doing in someone's ass"? The cheerleader who mentioned it a couple of pages back would know for sure. It's probably one of those weird kinky chit routinely practiced/performed by the likes of these folks:

Thanks for the advice, I'll try xmr-stak as soon as I arrive home.

The cpu clock is overclocked to 1000MHz and the memory clock to 1600MHz. The temperatures are from 50°C to 57°C depending on the card. Is it too much temperature or can I overclock them more?  Cheesy
